[Time to start! This introduction is to get you started. Interact with EITHER of the NPCs I'm going to describe - whichever one suits your fancy~]

As the party started to get into full swing, and the guests had mostly finished filing in, someone who did not seem to belong there.. or rather, belonged there far too much... pulled up in an old-fashioned carriage. He was dressed in a blood-red velour coat, down almost to the floor. Underneath it was a 'fancy' blouse with ruffles at the throat and sleeves poking through the coat. His pants were silken slacks, black, and he wore shined black leather boots to round this all out. Both hands were covered in black leather gloves. His hair was long, and the same blood-red as his coat, tied back in a ponytail with a smart black ribbon.
Striding into the middle of the ballroom, he paused for a moment, as if he had forgotten something, then smiled, shook his head at something or another before striding to the balcony.

At the same time the gentleman in red entered, a blonde-headed gentleman of similar stature and attire stormed in, seemingly trying to CHASE the red-head. He was dressed all in a neutral-blue waistcoat, white blouse without ruffles, and black pants and shoes. He carried a black cane with a golden skull on top, waving it almost angrily at the redhead.

"You PROMISED me a date. When we wound up on this backwater world with it's backwater people, and all for naught. It isn't MY fault that man's spell backfired. You should be ashamed of yourself, reneging on a promise!"

The redhead turned to the blonde, a fairly exasperated look on his face.

"I promised you no such thing. Making up delusions isn't like you, Johann."

"You wouldn't know what is or is not like me! We haven't spent one moment together since..."

The redhead turned away from Johann, sighing.
"Now is not the time or place. I felt a presence here. Let's stick to what we're here for, and we can banter semantics all we like later."

With that, the redhead slid off to one side of the ballroom to watch the people within, and Johann did the same thing, moving to the other side - still more than a little cross, with his arms over his chest to show it.

Rinni 10-27-2011 11:18 PM

One of the new people looked...less than happy, to say the least. Rinni tried, tried her damnedest not to go bother them. But, that wasn't in her nature; she was drawn to go help, or attempt to help, cheer the man up. Damn it. She made her way over to the unhappy blonde, wings fluttering a bit as she offered a small smile.

"Why the long face?" she asked, head tilting to the side in curiousity. Well, she had to know what was wrong if she was going to help.

Rainbowfox Ari 10-27-2011 11:32 PM

The blonde whirled on the girl that approached, almost hitting her with the cane before he thought better, and paused, sighed, lowered the cane back to the ground.

"What could you possibly want, girl? I am NOT in the mood for tomfoolery... or dickfoolery, or harryfoolery for that matter."

He brushed himself off haughtily, and turned toward the girl, arms crossed.

Rinni 10-27-2011 11:38 PM

"I assure you, sir, I wasn't up to any sort of foolery." The angel retorted, her little wings fluffing up and flaring out in a failed attempt to look somewhat intimidating. She'd seen that cane! "I was just wondering why you looked so angry at a party. You're supposed to have fun at parties, if you weren't aware."

Rainbowfox Ari 10-27-2011 11:52 PM

"Yes, well." he said, eyes narrowed. "MOST parties aren't as dull and droll as this particular one. And I am NOT here to.. 'party' in any sense. I'm here to search."

About what, he didn't say, as he turned away from her again.

"If you knew anything, girl, you would understand not to interrupt me at work. However - since you are not accustomed to my presence... I will let this slide. What is it you want, other than to flap your gums incessantly?"

Rinni 10-27-2011 11:59 PM

"Well, the party is only as dull as the person perceiving it." Rinni said dryly, her arms crossing. "And I'll have you know I came over here out of instinct. You seemed upset; it's a subconscious impulse to try and help people who are upset." It was easy to tell by her tone that she was none-to-pleased about this. "Regardless of whether the person in question is inherently rude and grumpy to begin with."

Lost_Ninja9213 10-28-2011 12:09 AM

Ninja had turned away from the decorations, where she had been mulling over any possible reasons for being at this party, when the newly arrived blonde and the innocent looking angel had their conversation nearby. she shook with silent laughter as she watched the ridiculously dressed blonde stalked away. Whoops, she thought, not so innocent after all. I shouldn't have stereotyped. now.... what am i doing here? Ninja turned towards the guests, as if the sight of them would remind her.
