so, catching every one up with my watching of Dr Who - i finished classic!Who on March 31st, watched the Eighth Doctor's movie on April first, and tomorrow, i'll be watching Tennant's final two-parter special!!

trystan830 05-05-2015 01:03 PM

me again... last night i watched Last Christmas! i started with new!Who and "Rose" on april 2nd, and it took until may 4th to watch all of new!Who!

... is it "fall" yet?

...
O.O
I can't even find/buy the entire classic Dr. Who...
Went through a good bit of Four, some of Two, one of Three, and all of One via a person doing commentary on the entire episode...

So...thoughts on them, Trystan?

trystan830 05-05-2015 10:44 PM

my library had a lot of the classic episodes, but most of them i watched on dailymotion.com

i enjoyed them all - all different incarnations of the Doctor. Four will always be my favorite, with everyone else but Six in the #2 spot - Colin Baker was much more fun as a Gallefreyan guard in one of Five's episodes. so Mr-Ego-bigger-than-the-size-of-the-inside-of-the-Tardis is #3 on my list. LOL.

I'll admit I am not a major fan of Five and Six character-wise (though Five definitely had several interesting plots)
Four is always iconic as eccentric, with a mix of child and adult interests...yet always the smart and mature absent-minded fellow...

trystan830 05-06-2015 11:21 AM

i will always love Four.

my second fave doctor is: Two, Five, Nine. And Eleven, Ten, Twelve and Seven. And One, Three, Eight and War.

so that makes my third fave Six.

heh.

The War doctor is still like a oddregeneration phase as he's the one that changes into nine. If I got Christopher Elctioson ion the right place.

trystan830 05-06-2015 12:52 PM

yep, that's the right place for the War Doctor.

Series 9!! september 19!!

Two Days After My Birthday! WHEEEE! I get to have four whole days of nothing but Doctor Who on BBC America running up to it, as well! *happy dances* Oh, and it looks like we get to see Peter Capaldi rock out on a guitar at some point this season, according to official trailers!

trystan830 09-15-2015 02:56 PM

yaay Dr Who!!

it's the first of my fall shows to come back! =)

Lawtan 09-16-2015 06:34 PM

*Has sort of lost track after Eleven regenerated...*

trystan830 09-16-2015 10:11 PM

I'm not a regular watcher but I'm looking at it now and then. I'm taking episode recommendations if people have any. So far have "Blink," "The End of the World," "The Empty Child," "Day of the Doctor" (not sure if that's an episode or a thing about Dr. Who. Clarification?) Matt Smith's First Episode (not sure that that one is), "Dalek," and "The Shakespeare Code."

Has anyone else seen "The Husbands of River Song" yet? *bounce bounce bounce*

trystan830 12-26-2015 08:24 PM

i watched it last night... but just got back online to reply to this.

i've added it to my list of faves! =DDD
