Mizuki ran to a little cliff near the mouth of the cave. He was close enough that his spells would not have that far to travel in order to take effect. It wass a good thing to because the sound of things was going that the men outside would have a fight before they came in. Though it would only be a matter of time before they breatched the gate and the real fun would begin.

Mizuki stood and waiting watching the gate. The noises outside were getting closer and the next thing he knew there was a shudder at the gate as a loud boom was heard. From one moment to the next the gate shuddered then fell into ash. "What the..." The flame was not the color he would expect but it was a color he knew "Sander..." He said out loud.

Leaning over the edge of the cliff he yelled to Thalion "Thalion!!! ITS SANDER!" He yelled to the male as he looked up but he couldnt help but notice that Thalion smiled at the news. Mizuki hardly thought it was something to smile over.

From one moment to the next the cave was there men then a combination of the two. The men flooded the area slashing and hacking. "So it begins!" Mizuki said as he began his spells taking men out left right and center with doppelgangers as well as earth spikes. Spells that required little energy but produced great results.

Oh this was too rich, out of all the news he couldn't have asked for better. Felix noticed Thal seemed a little overly motivated at the moment as his weapon took out another foe. "So I take it someone you know?" The human laughed a little before blocking a blade and taking out it's holder. "We'll just say unfinished business." "Drow with unfinished business.. I almost feel sorry for the poor sob."

Mizuki might not think it was anything to smile about oh but Thal did. There wouldn't be a failing a second time that was certain. After a second spell from the one Mizuki had named Thal had figured his location. "we need to get to that mage before he gets the walls down." Felix nodded hacking another foe.

It was easy to tell that some of this fore was missing probably trying to get in another entrance. So long as Mizuki stayed safe it didn't matter. If he could he would ensure that the other was safe, but he knew very well he was needed out here.

Mizuki stood there and unleashed spell after spell. He was huffing by the time he heard a boom behind him. Looking over to the wall there was another boom and a crack was seen. Shit! They went through another cave entrance and found them! How on earth did they manage such a thing "Troops to the back wall!" He yelled and watched as men who were standing waiting for the fight to come to them rushed to the wall.

Another boom and a larger crack "Stand together men" Mizuki shouted as he stood over them from his perch. Another boom and the wall exploded inwards spraying rock everywhere. Just a moment after men came in and the hacking began though out of all of them Mizuki noticed one..."Sander" Of corse the male would choose to come in the back way instead of through the front door. Less chance of death shitty for him Mizuki saw it coming.

Casting a spell he trapped some men in an earthy doom but as soon as he did his location was given away and Sander was on his way. Hacking he took men down just as Mizuki did. "Shit..." Mizuki cursed out loud as he cast another spell and watched as another man fell from Sanders frost blade. "Well hurry up then we dont have all night!" Mizuki screamed to him as the male drew closer.

Just as he was in range Mizuki cast his spell and the war was one. Spell after spell they exchanged blows. Fire and ice clashed together and Mizuki was loosing energy fast. Casting a spell he brought his staff up just in time to block a frost blade though he was unable to push the male off "So...Mizuki nice to see your still alive" Sander said causing Mizuki to laugh "Yeah this coming from the male who tried to kill me" He said and Sander smiled "Exactly tried" He said "But I wont fail this time!"

That was when Sander slashed down with force on the top of Mizukis staff. Being off guard for a moment Mizuki hissed as he felt the tip of the blade slash down across his chest as his staff was forced downwards. The cust was not deep but it hurt none the less. But there was no time to dwell on pain as he blocked another attack. If this kept up he was going to loose this battle.

The few mages the group had were taken care of out in the front though even with the numbers of the enemy dropping their own was dropping as well. Luckily not at such a rapid rate he thought they were going to lose. No it seemed the little tricks and traps they had placed had done their job well enough. Though by this time both of the two that had been working side by side were panting.

Even so they still kept hacking at any of the enemy that got within range of their weapons. Though it was about this time he noticed that Mizuki had stopped casting any spells. That wasn't a good sign and from what he could tell some of the forces near where Mizuki was at before had moved a well. Though he had lost track f where Sanders had gone by this time in the fight.

He soon got his answer as he noticed Mizuki was fighting with someone. That wasn't good, whoever it was had Mizuki at a disadvantage. Mizuki hardly could block in melee range let alone fight well enough to really call it a fight. "Cover me." Thal warned Felix as the human nodded before yelling and taking out a few more fighters. 'damn it you better not die before I get there.' He hissed in his thoughts, he was more than worried that Mizuki didn't have the energy to put up a real fight after all of the spells he had been using.

It took a little bit of time to get to where Mizuki was but he got there with barely a breath of moment to spare as Sander had forced Mizuki back against a wall. From the looks of it Mizuki was bleeding though he was standing so maybe the wound wasn't as bad as it looked. Either way Mizuki looked like he was nearly out of energy as he stood there barely holding the staff for a proper block.

Sander had pulled back and was what looked like preparing for the final blow. Though it was blocked rather easily as Thal got there just in time, probably saving Mizuki's ass in the process. "I think we have some business." He warned Sanders before forcing him back to give Mizuki some room. If he wanted to kill Mizuki so badly he had to deal with him first, and he personally had been waiting for this chance. All he needed was for him to cast one spell to prevent further casting. He knew the other could do hand to hand but he was hardly worried about it. Even in his current state he wasn't letting this one walk away.

Things elsewhere were more or less handled, there was still plenty of fighting going on but some of the units were retreating while others weren't having the chance to do so. But they had enough troops that he was sure he didn't have to baby sit the front any more.

Mizuki was greatfull. He was expecting the last blow to come but instead there was a clang and looking up he saw Thalion and he was so gratfull as he fell to his knees the moment Thalion pushed the male aside. "Thank you" Mizuki said in a breathless way as Thalion began to fight the other male away. Mizuki sat there and watched as they fought back and fourth.

Mizuki looked around and noticed that alot of the men were retreating. Was the battle ending? How long had they been fighting? Mizuki looked up just as Sanders was forced back again. Mizuki watched as he raised his hand "Thalion...magic!" Was all he said as the spell was cast and ice fire began to burn along the ground towards Thalion and Mizuki.

Thal was hardly worried about the magic, he had been biding his time till the other did cast something. No he was counting on this. Extending his own hand he quickly traced a symbol in the air as it seemed to cancel the spell cast altogether before a ring appeared around Sanders changing from blue to a light red and than vanishing. "I've always wanted to know.. how painful is ti to have your mana source cut off so suddenly?" I've been told it's rather painful to mages to be silenced."

He should know or have some idea seeing as he bound his own magic just to be able to use runes. though with this being said he never gave Sanders the time to recover as his weapon met the others as he blocked Thal's strike. "Your going to wish you died back in that manner." He said knowing very well he was not going to let Sanders die swiftly in the least.

They exchanged blows for a while though Sanders seemed to falter a few times as Thal's weapon delivered a few nice gashes, probably furthering the demise of this fight. "Your going to suffer, your damn lucky I'm not a necromancer or I'd revive you just to kill you again." He wasn't done as he kept Sanders on the defensive not letting hi the chance to really strike back. "your going to answer for what you did, nearly taking Mizuki from me.. your mistake was you didn't kill me when you had the chance."

Though by this point something had changed about Thal. It was still him but his eyes took on a different color for the time being, it was a slight mix of red in the normally amber colored eyes. Though if he was questioned about it he'd say it was nothing.

Mizuki watched as they fought. Exchanging blows back and fourth. Mizuki felt useless sitting there watching everything happen. It was not until he saw some men try and sneak up on Thalion that he found the will to stand. Blcoking the attack that was headed for Thalions back Mizuki cast a spell and swallowed the male whole as the ground claimed another victum.

Panting Mizuki was almost at his limits and he knew that. He could feel his energy draining and it took him everything he had just to stand on his feet. Panting he blocked another attack from another male just in time to for if he mist that blade would of went right through his stomach. Forcing the male away he took the dagger from his robes and slashed at the male before stabbing the blade into the males neck and watched as he fell.

Just as he did Mizuki felt some one grab his shoulder and he turned quickly his fight or flight kicking in as he went to attack but gasped as his staff was grabbed and he looked into the ember orbs of Thalion. Huffing Mizuki stood there looking at him "Hi..." He said in a huff his breathing a little heavy.

It was a good thing Mizuki was watching, because Thal wasn't. No he had one thing set in his mind and it was to utterly destroy the man who the groveling on the ground currently. Though even if he had been attacked it might not have stopped him seeing as he seemed almost blind to anything going on.

Though he wasn't quite done with Sanders. No he was going to make him suffer a bit longer. though given the fact he was pretty much past the normal calm he tried to keep in tack the seal he kept his own magic under was next to useless at the present time. He seemed to know that too as he grabbed Sanders before slamming him against the nearest wall.

Mizuki seemed to be still fighting as he noticed the other was barely standing on his own. Though by this time he had finished with Sanders. Like he had told him he was going to ensure he died in the slowest way possible. Like being silenced for a mage wasn't bad enough. The only real indication that magic was used on Sanders was the markings on his neck. They looked more like burns than anything.

Though grabbing Mizuki so he would stop fighting already he ended up having to grab the staff before he was struck by the other. "You can stop now." He said before motioning towards the fact that after Sanders had fallen the rest of the units seemed to try to pull back. Well what ones that could anyway.

Mizuki panted as he looked at Thalion. Looking to where he motioned he noticed that few of the men from the other army were left but other then that the battle was over. Lowering his staff he took a deep breath before he leaned forward as his head fell to Thalions shoulder not caring if anyone saw them. He was tired and sore and in pain he could care less at the moment.

Mizuki sighed as Thalion said he could stop fighting. Could he really was it over? Mizuki sighed "Well that went as well as it could of" He said with a nod of his head before pulling back and looking to Thalion "Well there is still work to do" He said with a nod of his head. Mizuki knew that as well as Thalion. He needed to look over the healing and clean up it was still a long night.

He nodded a little letting Mizuki stay were he was. He felt like the other would fall over if he moved so he moved a hand to better support Mizuki. It was still a long night indeed, if they were lucky they managed to keep a few alive for possible insights of the rest of the force. Though if not it hardly mattered seeing as it would take at least a few days to recover from this.

When Mizuki finally pulled back Thal sighed a little. Honestly glad this had ended as well as it did. By now any hint of red he had from before was gone from his eyes and if he was lucky Mizuki wouldn't think anything of it. "Don't over do it..." He said reminding Mizuki was he still had his won wound to take care of. "If your not up to it I can handle things, as well as the others."

He wasn't trying to baby Mizuki or nothing but he knew Mizuki had over done it already with the last few enemies he took out. "Come on, before you fall over." He said getting Mizuki to walk but staying close enough if the other were to fall he wouldn't. That had almost been too close, a moment later and he would have been too late. He needed to stop thinking about it though and focus on the tasks at hand. Like headcount for how many they lost.

Mizuki smiled a little as they began walking "Yeah yeah...im okay" He said as they made it to the main forces. This was when they reached the main floor and everyone was rushing around to get to the wounded and fix what needed to be fixed. Mizuki sighed as he looked around at everything. Stopping at the medical tent he parted ways with Thalion. He may not be able to use magic but his knowledge of fast healing herbs was a great thing right now.

Hours continued on and it was mid day the next day before Mizuki sighed and dragged his feet with him as he made it to the tent he shared with Thalion. Cracking his neck he moved and took his robes off hissing as the material stuck to the cut along his chest. Thats right...after everything was done he forgot to take care of himself.

Moving he sat down in a chair at the table and hunched over with a groan his hair falling over his shoulder to dangle infront of him. "How I would love a bath right now" He said lightly to the air around him. Mizuki made sure to have a tub set up for them in a attachment to the tent so he was not worried about that. It was the fact of heating the water that bothered him. He didnt have the energy for that but he knew that he needed to clean the wound on his chest.

Probably neither of them rested any of at all that night. Too much was going on and Thal was making sure those able were working. Plus it was a good idea to reset any traps that were triggers from before. Just in case another attack as this happened he wanted things to be better prepared.

He figured Mizuki stayed at the medical tent to ensure things went well. Though he never would have guessed he forgot to take care of himself or let anyone else do it for him. After a while things seemed settled a little more as he went to return to the tent the two of them were in before. As much as he liked the idea of a nap he had to go over a thing things and plan out some other methods of defense for when they went to make their stand.

Though upon entering the tent he heard Mizuki groan and complain a little. He shook his head a bit before walking over to him. He was about to say something but stopped as he glared a little at the other. "Out of all people.. your the last one I thought I'd be lecturing about tending to a wound." He sighed a little, he knew Mizuki put others before himself but they couldn't afford for him to fall ill either.

After a little bit he returned back to Mizuki before he folded his arms seeing as the other hadn't moved at all. "Can you undress or am I going to have to do it for you?" He was hardly joking, besides that he knew probably in Mizuki's mind he was going crazy from not having a bath for over a day.

Mizuki smiled as Thalion spoke about lecturing him. Mizuki didnt want to hear it nor did he really care at the moment "There was many to heal..." He said witha shrug of his shoulder as he looked up at him as he returned and asked if he was taking his clothes off. Mizuki smiled "Its not good enough im almost nakid you have to see the full thing" He said in a joking matter.

Sighing he pulled the loose fitting shit up and over his head from where he sat. Hissing he lowered his arms. Pulling at the scabs and cuts was not a good thing at the moment. Going to stand he took a deep breath as he stumbled a little his legs dead from sitting to long.

Even as he fell he took in acceptance that he was going to hit the floor so when he didnt Mizuki sighed as he felt strong arms around him "Yeah before you say it I know" He said lightly using Thalion to hold himself up as he removed the dirty pants as well. Now he took in the full extent of his pale body. Cuts and bruises littered his body though the largest was the one across his chest.

"Sorry" He said with a little sigh as he leaned back onto Thalion resting a pale head on his shoulder. Closing his eyes he stayed there a moment not caring about his nakid forum as he leaned against a clothed Thalion "You know..." He said after awhile "This is a little unfair...me nakid...you clothed" He said with a little laugh.

He rolled his eyes a little as Mizuki seemed to have a bit of spunk left in the lack of energy. "Well by all means I'll just let you hobble to the bath. Remind me next time to make sure the water is ice." Ok he wouldn't really do that, personally he hated the cold with a passion so he wouldn't force that fate to anyone.

Though he waited a little expecting that Mizuki wasn't going to ask for help. Sure enough he didn't as the other stood and tried to walk nearly adding to the collection of scrapes and bruises he had already. he wasn't going to say a word, though apparently he did't have to as Mizuki said he knew and not to say anything. he smirked all the same, and people said he was stubborn.. had they met Mizuki?

Though after a moment of supporting the other Mizuki finished getting his clothes off before complaining a little. Thal's ears went back a little. "I'm not the one getting the bath now am I?" Was his quick reply to Mizuki. If he had a say in it he was staying clothed. it had nothing really to do with Mizuki but he didn't feel like explaining some of the scars at the moment. Besides that he was tired himself, he was only doing this because it was for Mizuki. Though on that note if the other asked he probably wouldn't decline anything.

Mizuki frowned at that. After everything that was said and done the thought of sharing a warm bath with the man he loved gave him some happieness but at the mention Thalion didnt want to join he sighed "I see...well alone it is then" He said before moving away from Thalion. Walking slowly on shakey legs he made it to the tub and smiled at the heated water that steamed away from the hot coals under it. Mizuki didnt know if Thalion was to join him all he knew was that he didnt want to.

Looking at the hieght of the edge of the tub he thought for a moment. How on earth was he to get in that by himself? He was sure if he tried he would fall face first into the tub with his luck and drown. Though that thought was short lived as he heard a growl behind him. Looking behind him he looked to Thalion "What?" He asked lightly "You didnt want to...so go to bed...I will do it alone..." He said before attempting to get into the tub.

He had to say it like that didn't he? Was he really going to give in to being guilt tripped into this. Though thinking on that Mizuki was probably the only person alive that could get Thal to do anything. If he had asked he would have hardly said no. Ok so he did have a point before that it was a bit unfair but still.

After thinking a moment he gave up on this, let alone Mizuki was going to end up hurting himself from being stubborn at this rate. Especially seeing after watching him almost plan a way to get into the tub in the first place. If you had to do that you probably had no business getting in by yourself. Though Mizuki wasn't about to ask for help in the least.

When Mizuki told him to go to bed he shook his head before walking over to him. "The next person that calls me stubborn I'm going to point to you and tell them spend a day with you." He said before catching Mizuki seeing as he was about to play out the idea he had a few moments ago of falling face first into the tub. "Though I don't think drowning helps either of us either.." He said before helping Mizuki get in, though he ignored any protesting the other did that he was going to do it alone.

Either way once Mizuki was settled in the tub Thal moved a little before pulling his own shirt off. "Next time why don't you ask instead of being stubborn?" Though in a way Mizuki was cute when he was acting like this, refusing help and complaining if he got any. Taking the rest of his clothes off before joining Mizuki and pulling the other against him he sighed a little. "Besides.. at the rate you were going you'd end up drowning yourself."

Mizuki growled at Thalions words. He was not that stubborn...okay maybe he was but Thalion loved him anyways so what did it matter? As he tried to get Thalion into the bed he tried himself to get into the tub though he failed as he almost fell face first. He was greatfull that Thalion did not listen to him as he helped Mizuki into the tub.

Sighing at the hot water he closed his eyes before sinking into the tub a little "Oooohhhhhhh yeah...." He said with a sigh "That feels good" He said with a smile. Though he opened his eyes as Thalion spoke again and got into the tub "Why should I have to ask?" He asked with a tilt of his head as he watched Thalion get in though he gasped a little as he was pulled into a dark lap.

Sighing he moved to rest so his back was pressed into a dark chest. With sore pale hands he brought his braid forward and undid it letting the white strands flow in around him. Sighing Mizuki reached and grabbed the cloth on the edge of the tub. Dipping it into the water he rung it out before lightly brushing his chest hissing as he started to clean it. "You know..." He said as he sighed "I am glad your alive" he said pausing in cleaning the cut as he let his head fall back onto Thalions shoulder.

The day was long and with being as sore and out of energy as he was this simple act in itself took alot out of him. "So much fighting in one day" He said with a sigh as he turned his head before lightly kicking a dark cheek "Thank you...for your help" He said lightly as he reached his hand up and moved to start cleaning the wound again.

"Because you saying it's not fair isn't telling me what you want now is it?" He had a point, Mizuki never said he wanted the other to join him. Not in a direct way. No he had to go on about how he was going to go do it alone and all of that. That and he wasn't a mind reader, let alone good at relationships in the least. Though apparently he caught on rather quick.

He hated seeing Mizuki this worn out, he could hardly move. Though it was his own doing in the last few spells he had forced out. "Who knows... If I wasn't than maybe you wouldn't have nearly died so many times in the past day and a half." He had a point there, odds were Mizuki wouldn't have been noticed by the king in the first place or at the least he wouldn't have been sent out here because of some old saying the King had heard.

"Still as glad about it?" He smirked a little knowing the answer was the same. He sighed slightly knowing today was nothing compared to what the actual fight was going to be like. "And it's only just begging..." What was this attack over anyway? Land? Who knows, maybe a relic of something, not that he really cared so long as it ended sooner rather than later. Moving a little he placed his arms around Mizuki's middle before resting his head against the other's shoulder. "You'd have done the same.. So I don't see why your thanking me." He said before kissing the bare shoulder once. Why couldn't things stay like this.. just for a few moments not having anything to worry about.

Mizuki smiled as he felt the arms around him. Turning his head he turned it into Thalions neck witha sigh "I could say what I want...but can you handle what I want?" He asked with a smile on his lips as he kissed Thalions neck. He couldnt help it he was a pervert at heart. Even with what he said Mizuki didnt let Thalion get a moment to say anything as he cut of the words with a nip to the neck.

"Tonight was a close call" He said lightly as he went back to cleaning the cuts he had as the cloth turned pink from crusted blood "I wounder why it even happened" He said with a little sigh "Not here more then a day..." He lightly shook his head then hissed as he brushed to hard against his chest "That hurt..." He said in a wince before moving and sitting up careful of Thalion under him.

Even though the movement gave him ideas as Thalion didnt let go of his waist he couldnt act on them. Not after something like that just happening the same day. No he would rather that be later when nothing else would rest on his mind. Bringing his hair over his shoulder he ran his fingers through his hair to clean the dirt from it. With out even knowing he began to hum a song from the olden days softly.

There was a thought, what did Mizuki even really want? "Thought you had what you wanted already." He teased a little though he stopped that thought as he felt Mizuki's lips on his neck. Tease... was his first thought though he never voiced anything for a moment. He hated and loved it at the same time, something so simple.

Breathing out a little he sighed slightly hearing Mizuki speak of today being close. "I ask that about a lot of things. Maybe they felt threatened, or they were testing our forces. Enough got away to report damage and what our numbers are." Thinking on that ... they should have hunted the fleeing ones down.

He seemed to have a few thoughts on his mind, though at least just staying here with Mizuki was helping with keeping any stress levels he had at bay. Over all he felt like if he had done a better job Mizuki wouldn't have been in danger at all. But it was a bit late for that now. but those thoughts left soon enough as Mizuki started humming, he vaguely remembered the song, least the tune of it.

When he was done washing his hair Mizuki smiled as he turned a little and looked at Thalion with half lidded tired eyes "I dont know about you but...I think a bandage then bed is the best idea...besides you" He said with a smirk before he went to get out. That is when he paused and turned to look at Thalion. Leaning down he kissed the male with a smile "Help me?" He asked "I...dont think I could get out alone" He admited.

It was weird coming from Mizuki but it was the truth. He did need help and if he wanted Thalion to change some things then he should be willing to change as well. If Thalion wanted him to ask for help, it would happen...once in a while.

With some help and some grunts of pain Mizuki was out of the tub and dried. His chest was wrapped up and his hair was braided again. Sighing he sat on the edge of the bed. Looking up he sat Thalion just standing there looking at him "Come to bed my love..." He said lightly.

Sounded like a idea to him. "You forgot to add if none of the idiots bother me in there." Mizuki didn't have to wake up if something did come up, he knew very well the other needed rest. Though he wasn't expecting Mizuki to openly ask for help to get out. Not that he was going to let him try to do so on his own anyway.

Helping the other out and getting dry. Though seeing as Mizuki was letting him help he also took care of the wrapping. Probably a good thing seeing a Mizuki was falling asleep while sitting there almost. Though he still had the energy to braid his hair. It wouldn't be Mizuki otherwise. When Mizuki said come to bed he was about to but paused as he heard something outside before someone questioning if either of them were awake still.

"You asked me why I tossed pants on.. now you know why." He had gotten half dressed almost right after they were out of the bath. Reason why... he knew someone was going to bother him before he got the chance to even touch the bed. Either way he told Mizuki he'd be a moment getting the other to lay down.

It was Felix and the woman from before as he told them to come in. Though Thal was standing there still without a shirt and his arms crossed. Felix knew right away he was annoyed. "Better have a good reason for bothering me at this hour."

Though from the sounds of it there were just a bunch of small issues, and the woman had insisted that they give the report. "I tried to warn her-" Thal sighed a little. "Look you don't have to give me a report every time someone breaths. Really it's only needed for the more important information. She tried to protest but stopped as she nodded understanding. She had been shipped over from a different group and apparently their leader wanted everything to be reported under the sun.

After that was settled he got rid of both of them before shaking his head a little. "It's worse than looking after children I sear to it." He said before getting into the bed next to Mizuki, who of course wasn't asleep yet probably over hearing most of the conversation or forcing himself to stay away one or the other. Pulling the other close he breathed out a little just wanting to have things go back to normal again, and not the way they currently were where they could die tomorrow.

Mizuki sighed as the sound of some one there reached his ears. He didnt bother placing a shirt on as he laid back in the bed covering his naked lower half with the sheet. He was to tired to go and find pants at the moment not to mention the fact that some one was here.

Listening he sighed and agreed with Thalion as he spoke. Yes they did not need a report every hour and by the looks of it she would have done just that if not told otherwise. Sighing he laid back and listened as the two left and Thalion began to walk over. Now that he was coming to bed Mizuki thought it best to get up and find those pants.

Just as Thalion sat down he stood. Taking a moment for his balance he walked over to all the trunk. Digging through it for a moment he didnt care how he looked bent over tired and sore until he found what he needed. Mizuki then took a moment or two to pull them up and on but when he did he sighed bore walking back over to the bed.

Mizuki all but fell into it and into Thalions arms when he made it back. The day was long and he was sore as sore could be not to mention physically drained. Sighing he curled into Thalions side his hear resting part on the males chest and part on his shoulder with one arm thrown over a dark chest he sighed. "Night...." He said softly though that was all he managed to get out.

After Mizuki seemed to come back to bed and settled down he smiled weakly as the other barely was able to say night as he normally did. He had told the other night as well but as passed out as the other seemed to be at the moment he doubted the words were heard.

Over the course of the next few days things slowly managed to get back on track and there was no sign of any more attacks in the near future at least. At least something was finally going right for once. Most of the wounded were healed by this time as well and any damage was close to being finished as well as the enlargement of the camp well in progress.

Thal was going over a few maps checking some of the tunnels that the scouts had come across when he had a odd feeling that his peace for the moment was about to be interrupted. One of those ever get the feeling something was going to happen no matter what you said sort of deals.

Sure enough Felix burst into the tent but before Thal could say a word he had placed the dragon egg they still had for whatever reason on the table he was sitting at. Thal's ears went back a little before glaring at Felix. "Do you ever take time off?" "Yes when I sleep and it gets disrupted by the countless idiots we have... your one of them."

Felix shrugged a little before holding up a few bottles he had in his other hand. "That may be true... but if you ask me you both need some time off. The camp won't fall apart if you two relax a night you know." He shrugged a little before he started to act like he was leaving, not that he was going to let Thal get off that easily. Normally he wasn't this busy so he knew damn well he was not enjoying all of the planning and work he had to do now. "But if your both just going to be workaholics... Maybe i can get Tina to drink with me." He grinned a little, Tina was the female lead they had here. "You know I'd almost pay to see you try that... but I know the out come already and we don't need you in the medic tent."

Felix figured Mizuki would say no though he also knew Thal normally didn't turn down a few drinks. Though for the moment he seemed to not say anything as to if that meant he was agreeing or not. Given the way this human acted it was probably amazing to think he was even a high rank let alone alive.

Mizuki was going over some different herbs that he had and mixing some of them together just to make things easier down the road. Though as he continued he was about to turn to Thalion to tell him he needed more of one herb before Felix burst through the tent door.

Mizuki raised a brow at the dragon egg but didnt question anything but the moment the bottles came into view Mizuki tilted his head. From where he was sitting the male had wine in his hands and a couple bottles at that. Even though he had a point that the camp wouldnt fall apart Mizuki was second guessing it.

Shaking his head Mizuki stood from where he was and walked over to Felix with out saying anything he grabbed one of the bottles and looked at it "Eh...could be a better kind and year" He said reading the lable "But beggers cant be choosers right?" He asked before placing the bottle on the table. Mizuki then removed the dragon egg and put it aside nicely before grabbing three glasses and sitting back down.

When he did sit down he noticed that the two of them were looking at him like he was crazy "What?" He asked "Do you know how long its been since I relaxed and had a drink?" He said with a tilt of his head before he pourd a glasses for the three of them. Picking one up he smiled "To friends and more battles to be won" He said with a smile

When Mizuki seemed to give in to Felix's little plan Thal was almost dumbfounded. Though he wished he had dropped the egg honestly. Felix had been bugging him about it for a while saying even when they first collected them Thal never once got near them. He replied with he had his reasons. Ones he wasn't about to own up to but still reasons none the less.

Felix seemed to shrug off the fact Mizuki insulted the drinks. but least he redeemed it with the next statement that they couldn't really be picky. Though after he spoke again Felix smirked before saying anything. "See thats what I'm talking about." He said before looking at Thal as Mizuki was fixing the glasses.

"Your a bad influence you know that?" "coming from the elf that lived with dwarfs for how many years was it again?" Thal sighed knowing he had lost this fight, he use to go drinking all the time with Felix and a few others till things got out of hand so to say. "One than I" "no your not getting away with one, your going to skip work for the night and thats that. You can't plan out the battle anymore than what you've already done so deal with it."

It was probably because he was tired he was even protesting to this as the other two seemed to be waiting on him to join them in the glass raising. "your both bad influences.." he said weakly. Though Felix waved him off knowing after a few drinks he's calm down a bit.

After the cheers was over Mizuki smiled and took a drink "Oh come now we all know you need to loosen up a little and relax for once!" Little did he know that those words would come back to haunt him.

Now it was later in the night and all three of them were laughing and joking with each other. The table before them was covered in cards and empty bottles. Mizukis head was spinning and he knew he was drunk but he felt as if the night needed to continue. It was rare for him to have some fun in times like this.

"H-hey hey...I got an Idea" Mizuki said with a smile "We need to do..s-somthing" He said with a smile. Then his eyes lit up as he looked at the two of them "T-truth...dare" He said with a smile looking at them "Unless your b-both chickens!" He said with a laugh

They were probably both right. He had been a little in over his head from the moment they set off on this journey. Lack of sleep and everything else was starting to get the better of him. Though in the long run he was glad he gave in though out of the three he might have been the calmest.

Though Felix even plastered still was whipped both Mizuki and Thal at any card game they could come up with. About than was when Mizuki said he had a idea and blurted it out. Was he serious? Though the chicken comment sealed the deal as Felix and Thal looked at one another. Though Felix had the big mouth as he agreed to it. "Wellll it was yer idea." More or elss saying Mizuki got to go first.

It was amusing on its own hearing the two struggling with words. Yes by now Thal was pretty out of it himself but he was more of a calm drunk than his friend he hung around with. Actually he had little to no temper in this state oddly enough, other emotions were another story altogether.

"Alright alright" Mizuki said thinking about what he could do. That was when he got a smile "Alright...Felix...truths or dares" He asked and the male smiled giving some cocky answer of truth. Mizuki smiled "St-starting with truth" He said before he thought of it.

"Okay...there has been...s-somthing I have always wanted to know" He said slightly looking at him "You talk...big but have you...ever andi-i mean ever...had sex?" He asked looking towards him. Mizuki knew that alot of men who talked the way that he did talked and that was it. "I...dont know if y-you have" He said with a smile.

This was when he looked over to Thalion with a smile "W-what do you think Thal?" He asked with a smirk "Think...he had?" He asked with a laugh before taking another sip of the drink he had before him.

Thal shrugged a little he never really thought about it to be honest. Hell on that note... "with his luck? No." He laughed slightly having lost count of how many times Felix had been shot down or slapped if not worse from time to time. Yeah he could see him being the one who just talks a lot.

Felix crossed his arms sitting back in the chair a little before sighing. "Even Thal .. wow some friend you are thinking that. Coming from someone I've never seen get near a woman no less." Felix smirked a little afterwards knowing his answer. "Of course I have.. I was due to be married at one time er anotherr..." He waved his hand in the air a little knowing that was some time ago now. Five years might be nothing to elves but for humans that was a good amount of wasted time.

It was funny that Felix would say something like though. Of course he didn't try to hook up with females... he loved someone else. not that he had any plans of telling Felix this, or at least he thought he didn't..

Mizuki looked at him "Married...really?" He asked before shaking his head "To be honest...n-never would of guessed that" He said with a smiled before looking to Felix again "Well...Mr...to be married" He said wtih a nod of his head "I do think it is your turn" He asked lightly with a nod of his head.

Mizuki didnt know who or what the male before him was going to ask but he made it up in his mind that he was going to say or do what ever it took to win this game of truth or dare. Only because of his drunken state did he think the way he was. Oh yes give him anything and he would do it.

Looking to Felix he sighed and smiled as the male just sat there not yet choosing any one or anything. "Awee come now!" He said with a smile on his face before leaning back in his chair a little causing his braid to move over his chest "Dont just s-sit there" He said with a smile.

Felix nodded a little, though he was thinking a bit and in his drunk state that was probably bad. Over all seeing as he worked in this field it was probably for the best he wasn't married. But his luck with women did seem to be cursed that was for sure, that or he failed on purpose one or the other.

When Mizuki spoke he shrugged a little knowing exactly what he was going to ask. "As tempting as it is to force Thal to tell his dark little secrets .. there is one thing I've been wanting to see." To admit Thal was curious of this, Though odds of Felix remembering this in the morning was probably rather slim with how much slurring was in his speech, over done didn't come close.

"Mizzzuki.. I dare you to let down your hair." He seemed content with that as Thal looked at him a little oddly. "That was your big dare?" "Yeesh.. he never wears it down." Well if he was happy with it so be it.

Mizuki stopped for a moment as he heard the male speak before him. What on earth kind of question or dare was that? To let his hair down? Tilting his head to the sighed Mizuki responded "Your...lucky i-im drunk" He said with a smile "There has...only been one..." He said raising his hand with his pointer sticking up "Only that has seen it down" He said before that pointed finger moved to Thalion "you" He said with a nod.

Mizuki loved his hair. It was the one thing about him that he took care of the most. His hair was long and white and untarnished even when he himself began tarnished his hair stayed white so to keep it that way he kept it in a braid and over his shoulder to make sure it stayed that way.

Looking to Felix he nodded "Alright...challenge accepted!" He said before putting his drink down and grabbing his braid. Undoing the end of it he unraveled the long thick strands until it flowed around him. Gathering it all together the wavy locks rested over his shoulder and pooled in his crossed legs. "There...happy?" He asked with a tilt of his head causing some of the hair to fall across his face.

Felix would have figure no one had seen his hair down, it was like untold of. to be honest with himself he just wanted to see if it made Mizuki look like a girl and in his drunk state he'd probably be willing to flirt with anything. Especially given how much they had gone through. Though he should have figured out something was between the two when Mizuki said that only Thal had seen it down.

"Weell.. aren't you mr. special? It's while he's sleeping isn't it?" He said half leaning on the table." Thinking on it that wasn't really true, not all of the times. But he never answered as Mizuki blurted out challenge accepted. After that was said a few moments later Mizuki had his hair fully down as he sat there and asked if Felix was happy.

Felix blinked a few times looking at him. "Actually yes?" He smirked a little leaning towards Mizuki a little. "Youu should wear it down more, you look sexy like this." That was probably the drinks talking but still. Though the comment seemed to make Mizuki blush a little, this was about when Thal had enough of this soon to be short lived romance.

Moving a little he got Felix to sit back down seeing as he was half leaned over the table towards Mizuki. "Well that sucks for you." Felix tilted his head a little. "Whys that? He's got someone already? It's the dragon lady isn't it.. damn elves get all the good looking ones." He half complained but not really. Though he got a idea after that as he smiled a little before laughing. "Maybe his other half would share."

Being tactful was not happening at the moment and the answer came all too quick that it took Felix a moment to even catch it. "I don't share, not when it comes to Mizuki." At first Felix nodded like he was agreeing but that stopped. "Wait what?" He had to think on what he heard a moment before blinking. "Well that.. answers a few things. No wonder you always got pissed at me when I tried to hook you up with some woman."

Though really Felix thought Thal was joking, but he wasn't sure at the same time. "But really who's his other?" Thal looked at him like really do I have to say it again. "I already told you." With that in mind Felix was kind of glad Thal was drunk, otherwise this might have been a bit more violent than just saying it. But for him just to blurt it out like that? That was bold even for Thal in his current state.

Mizuki blushed as Felix made his comment. Sexy...him? No that couldnt be right. Looking up he was about to brush the comment off and say something cocky to him but he didnt have the chance as Thalion leaned over the table pushing back a suddenly to close Felix as he spoke. Though it was not what he said but what Thalion said that made his head snap to the side to look at him.

"Well that sucks for you" He heard it and he hoped it didnt continue but as Felix once again spoke up Mizuki closed his eyes. Yep this was happening wasnt it? He tried to speak up but was cut off at Thalions words again "I dont share, not when it comes to Mizuki" and he almost fainted. Had that really just come from the males lips?

Looking to Thalion all he saw was the cocky 'to bad for you' grin on his face. He was not hearing things was he though that answer soon came when he heard it again as the male said he already told him as Felix thought he was lying. Mizuki blushed deeper as he hung his head a little as his ears dipped back into his now loose hair.

It was true and Mizuki was not ashamed of it. The wine gave him the courage to do his next actions though as he got sick of the bickering back and fourth between the two that Thalion was lying. Standing he wabbled a little before moving behind Thalion. Rapping his arms around a dark neck he leaned down his hair falling over Thalions shoulder and chest as half lidded lavender eyes looked to Felix "He told you once...now im telling you" He said "We dont share" He said with a nod of his head.

They weren't really bickering, Felix and Thal could go back and forth on a topic for a while before either said gave in. Though Felix was getting over the fact that Thal admitted to anything. This was the same Thal he had known for all these years right? Even drunk he never recalled him saying something like that about anyone. Though when Mizuki stood and moved over to Thal Felix sat back in the chair a little.

After Mizuki spoke Felix seemed to think on this a little before shrugging a bit. Thal didn't expect Mizuki to move let alone do what he did. Mizuki wasn't outspoken on this sort of thing, sure given commanding situations he was but when it came to things like this he didn't seem to be. Not that Thal was going to complain that Mizuki was holding onto him.

"Well... I'm impressed. Here I thought Thal was too antisocial to get anyone." He laughed a little, it'd dawn on him tomorrow what his thoughts really were. Just shock wasn't in his vocabulary at the moment. Though Felix wasn't done with this by a long shot, he had to ask the next question. More of a pay back to Mizuki asking him if he just had a bunch of talk earlier. "So who takes bottom?" He wasn't really expecting a answer but he couldn't keep his mouth shut at the moment either.

Mizuki almost chocked as Felix said or asked his next question. What the hell was that about? Let alone it hasnt happened yet so how was he to give an answer to that question? Blushing he dipped his head and turned it to the side unaware that he turned it right into Thalions neck. Sighing lightly he couldnt help placing a light kiss before moving his head and looking back to Felix. He needed to choose his next words carefully.

"Well...when it happens I am sure the part would be shared" He said with a smile resting his head on Thalions shoulder as he looked at Felix "To much dominance for one of us" He said making Felix choke on his drink. People who actually knew Mizuki knew he was a pervert at heart. Tilting his head a little he smirked "Or I will let you know when it does happen" He said raising an eyebrow with a smile. Oh yes...he was having fun.

Thal couldn't answer, how could he hell thinking on it he avoided topics like this at all costs. Though he wasn't expecting Mizuki to answer as he did. Being partly glad of his skin color about now seeing as it hid any blush rather well. Though Mizuki's answer didn't stop at that first sentence... no he had to carry it on didn't he?

Felix nearly choked on his drink as Mizuki answered. Though the human had one more topic left before it would be pushing it too far for Thal. "Oh really?" Like he was curious as to when it did happen, probably not but currently the human was too drunk to honestly care. "Last I heard drow males were rather submissive." though it was hard to see Thal as being that type, but that was what he had heard about the race. Normally the larger cities or kingdoms were run by the females, though Thal ran away at a young age so maybe he wasn't as brainwashed as most.

It was about that time Thal thought it might be a good idea to call the drinking for a night before Felix went about putting too many ideas in Mizuki's head. "Yes yes, I've heard your research on the Drow a hundred times, those who step out of line are punished and what not. And as I said before.. I was not a royal thus there were hardly as many rules to go by." Still a number of them and he left out a few details there not that they mattered but still.

But he went on to say it was getting pretty late and even though Felix was going to have a hangout he still had work to do tomorrow. The human took the hint with a slight groan knowing he was right. Though at the least it got the two of them alone finally. Though to admit after that bit of a awkward conversation he was hardly sure what to say to the other. Not like he was mad but still! He'd have to remember to watch Mizuki if they went drinking.

Mizuki raised a brow at that. Oh really...well he knew about the females controlling what they could but something told Mizuki that Thalion wouldnt really be the submissive type. No instead he could see him taking charge and getting what he wanted while he blushed and gave in. Shaking his head lightly Mizuki was glad that Thalion then called it a night. He was sure he was going to get a talking to about his little actions and words.

Mizuki stayed where he was though as he watched Felix get up and stumble out of the tent saying his drunken good byes to the group. Even after he left Mizuki didnt move. He was sure if he moved then the conversation would start. So with that in mind he thought that he would do it for Thalion "Sorry about that..." He said turning his head into Thalions neck "Should of thought better..." Misuki said lightly his lips brushing against dark skin.

Staying there for a moment longer he waited for an answer though when he didnt get one he pulled back. His arms, hands and hair brushing over a clothe clad chest as he stood. Mizuki should of knowen better. It was drunken talk hey. So he thought he would make a joke "Heh...I bet if I fallowed Felix..." He began "I could get laid" okay it was a bad joke.

He was a bit glad that was over, or so he thought till Mizuki said sorry that he should have thought better. Thal sighed slightly. 'I think I'm requesting something stronger the next time we do this...' he thought without saying a word of it. He smirked a little at the thought of it. There was no way he'd keep up with those two without being completely plastered. Though normally he wasn't the talkative type while drinking anyway.

Though when Mizuki seemed to pull away he glanced at him a little. It was easy to tell the other was thinking on something. Though when the words left his lips Thal's ears went back a little. What the hell was that about? He huffed a little before standing. "Well if you want to go for it, though I think he'd sleep with anything that offers warmth."

He was hardly done though, and like hell he was going to let Mizuki walk out of this tent. Though after a moment he moved over to where Mizuki was standing before grabbing him and kissing him. "Or maybe I should take that as a invite... unless you'd rather have a human." He didn't really care of what Mizuki's answer was he had made his mind up already on this.

Granted what Felix said wasn't wrong, if Thal wasn't plastered as he was this would not be unfolding this way. At the same time even sober he wasn't as much of a push over as most of his kind that lived in the cities or under the rule of their leaders.
