I had some phone calls from the recruiters at the IRS yesterday, so I tried to call them again today so we could talk about the stuff. They wouldn't pick up U_U;.. even though they left me a message to call them back. So I don't know if she just wasn't in the office or decided to chuck my application into the trash. It makes me nervous.

I'd try to call them again :x

She contacted me xP ~ woo! Basically, if you want to work for the IRS you have to disclose your tax filing information. And...I had none xD;;;;. It sent up a bunch of red flags in their accounting department. So I had to explain why I didn't file any returns.

It's not that hard. Though if you make less than $50k a year, make use of the VITA/TCE program. They'll have places in public libraries and senior centers, and they prepare your taxes and file them for you for free. H&R Block will get you your refund automatically, but you have to cough up over $100 to get your stuff done.
