Zaoki: YEah but it's excruciatingly painful. My mother, who didn't make a single sound when she had me with no painkillers at all, was crying after the deadener wore off on her when she got her toenail removed.
The Cheshire Cat: Yeah, me and it is painful. I'm hoping I won't have to have it done. |
well that did used to be a form of torture
Oh wow. I hope you don't have to either! I know a few people who had to have nails remove. It does not look like a slice of pie.
yeah but its better to get a nail removed than an entire finger removed
Zaoki: And my serious lack of funds aside, we come to the center of why I'm so reluctant to go. I just found veterinarian antibiotic cream with painkillers in it so it's feeling way better. My mother used to be a vet tech in case you're wondering where I found them.
The Cheshire Cat: Nope and then the nail grows in all ugly and stuff too. |
But like I said I'd rather get a nail removed than a finger
Yeah, I know. It's not that bad yet. I come from a medical background and it's not quite as bad as my mother's toe was either.
still better safe than sorry
Yup. I'll go before I'm paid if it gets worse but if it stays the same until friday then I'll go then. Either way I'm going to the doc unless it's completely cleared up by then.
thats good I'd hate to hear you losing fingers and such
Yep! ^^ I'm stubborn but I'm not that stubborn.
yeah thats a good thing xD
I'll say. If I was I'd be missing several toes. o-o I tend to stub my fingers and toes a lot. I'm usually able to fix it myself but a other times I'm not and I go in to the doc after three days usually because I know after those three days whether I'll be able to get it myself or not.
I hate stubbing my toe
I'm used to it by now. I'm such a klutz that it's an everyday occurrence to me.
I probably fall more often then I stub my toe though. I always end up jacking up my face or my feet every time I trip its so annoying
Aww, that stinks! I don't remember the last time I fell all the way down.
last time I tripped and fell was last year on the first day of school. I busted my lip open it was terrible >.<
Oooo, that's so horrible! I hope no one saw or laughed? At my school they just walk past you and laugh.
people helped me up but it took forever for my lip to heal
I can sypathize about your lip. I have a cut on my lip from somthing so long ago I don't even remember but it just won't heal. It's been there for a few months.
there is still a bump on my lip even though this happened last August
Wow, that's messed up. You really did a number on it, didn't you?
yeah its not visible on the outside of my mouth but there is still a bump on the inside of my lip
But is that just the scar from it?
more or less yeah but still its just ugh
I tripped at the bottom of the stairs at the end of May this year and broke my big toe.
When it healed and I went to go get my schedule for work, they told me that they had hired someone to replace me. #.# |
I can understand that. When my lip finally heals I'll have a permanent dip in the middle of my lower lip.
Angel: Really? That's messed up. The least they could've done is called you. |
Well, I would have had to come in and clean out my locker anyway.
True. That is very true but if they'd called you to tell you then you could've at least started looking around at who was hiring.
I had already lined up this temporary seasonal job that I now have anyway. *Shrug.*
I'll get back to searching next month when this job is over. |
thats still messed up
I agree with Zaoki. But if you don't mind my asking what is the job Angel?
I pack Christmas cookies at a cookie factory.
thats where you got fired from?
That sounds kind of fun actually. If there're broken ones do you get to eat them or are they all packaged up like when you open a box of crackers and they're all in their stacks wrapped in plastic?
No. I got fired from a vitamin store in the mall.
The cookie factory is the temp job, but if they have an opening there I might be hired permanently. It is a little tiring to stand all day at the conveyor belt putting cookies on trays. However, I get to talk to the other people and eat the cookies I want while I am there. I also get a discount to buy the ones I want to bring home. |
Sounds like a good deal Angel!
well those are nice perks
Yup. They are pretty sweet perks. ^.~
