Did you try the microwave fudge? If so, did you like it?

I'm making another batch for my DnD friends for our New Year's Eve Party.

Damies 12-27-2016 05:45 PM

@ZenKitty I did! It's great except the flavor is a bit bland cuz I used mostly milk chocolate chips. It's all we had on hand. A partial bag of semi sweet and a bunch of milk chocolate. ;0; But I mixed in toffee bits so that's nice. 8D

I don't have any that fit together well enough, so the last time I tried that too much steam escaped and the moisture caused the chocolate to seize up. But I do know that.
:f-dull:

littl3chocobo 12-27-2016 08:26 PM

Milk chocolate is the least favorite of the fudge I've made. The mint/dark chocolate and straight dark chocolate are the ones that people most ask for. I thought I'd love the peanut butter fudge, but the chips I find aren't that great. Perhaps it would take better with different chips.

I bet the toffee was tasty with that.

Kaderin Triste 12-28-2016 05:18 PM

My grandma makes a really good peanut butter fudge. I should get her recipe some time.

Damies 12-28-2016 10:26 PM

I'm tiiiired. but I need to finish stuff and I am like "fuck itttt."

Kaderin Triste 12-29-2016 01:50 AM

Do it! Finish stuff!

SparX 12-29-2016 08:21 PM

I plan on putting on my big person pants and going after that painting I still haven't finished
the rest of me wants to sit on my couch and play sims while eating cheese.

Kaderin Triste 12-29-2016 08:35 PM

Yeah...I have a couple fairly important things to do tonight. Mainly finish a turtle, schedule my rent payment, and try to get to bed early.

SparX 12-29-2016 08:38 PM

I keep thinking that sunday marks a new year
weird.

littl3chocobo 12-29-2016 08:47 PM

sims and cheese sounds amazing ;3; i wanna do that instead of cleanig and working on art

Kaderin Triste 12-29-2016 08:51 PM

I agree with Cho 100%.
Also...I would add crackers to the mix because crackers and cheese is tasty.

SparX 12-29-2016 08:53 PM

I do have garden herb and garlic triscuits and a bowl or artichoke and jalapeƱo parmesan dip >.>;

littl3chocobo 12-29-2016 08:58 PM

garlic, please<3 i have orange and honey fried ham slices, would anyone want that?

Kaderin Triste 12-29-2016 09:05 PM

Yum to all of that, Sparx!
All I have at home is leftover slightly too spicy chili...and...no that's pretty much it right now.

Ah...no thanks, Cho.

SparX 12-29-2016 09:06 PM

for leftovers I only have 8 lbs of sausage gravy for biscuits X.x
gonna stick to my cheese currently XD
-procrastination in play-

littl3chocobo 12-29-2016 09:07 PM

shame XD the honey is imported from alaska usa(fireweed) and the ham is shank portion with fatty edges

littl3chocobo 12-29-2016 09:08 PM

how does one even get that much gravy? XD

SparX 12-29-2016 09:09 PM

we made 15 lbs of sausage to put into gravy for our annual holiday brunch and 2 lbs of turkey sausage
Thankfully we gave quite a bit away but still we are left with so much...

littl3chocobo 12-29-2016 09:10 PM

.-------. i dont think in my entire life i have eaten that much gravy

Kaderin Triste 12-29-2016 09:14 PM

Sorry Cho, the honey part sounds good, but I don't eat meat.

littl3chocobo 12-29-2016 09:15 PM

ooooh, yeah my bad XD did not consider that, haha

Kaderin Triste 12-29-2016 09:18 PM

Haha...lol it's okay.
XD

SparX 12-29-2016 09:19 PM

We eat gravy quite a bit, mainly because it is super easy to make. Shredded chicken gravy, or hamburger gravy are often quick go tos if all we have is a meat and a starch XD

littl3chocobo 12-29-2016 09:20 PM

so how are you today?

littl3chocobo 12-29-2016 09:21 PM

i've made salisbury steak gravy and beef-tip gravy but never shredded chicken XD

Kaderin Triste 12-29-2016 09:25 PM

Cho: Ah, pretty good. Finishing up a little cleaning at work, then heading home to possibly record me singing for the event singing contest thing...and work on a stuffed turtle that I have meant to have done like a week ago...

littl3chocobo 12-29-2016 09:26 PM

ooooh~ will you link turtle pics if you manage?

Kaderin Triste 12-29-2016 09:38 PM

For sure! All I have left to do currently is make the legs, then stuff and assemble it. But I've been super lazy.

littl3chocobo 12-29-2016 09:38 PM

dude, i hear you there XD

SparX 12-29-2016 09:46 PM

If you were talking to me then my day is going decently well, had an altercation with a coworker but it was managed well enough
and I'm still procrastinating XD

littl3chocobo 12-29-2016 09:49 PM

i am talking to anyone who will talk back<3

oh jeez, it did not get physical did it?

Kaderin Triste 12-29-2016 09:50 PM

It's technically an unofficial custom order...so I really should get it finished soon.

SparX 12-29-2016 09:51 PM

no she ended up going out to her car to vape and call her boyfriend
I pretty much told her she was working too fast in a manner that was causing more harm then good and she threw a tiny fit about it.
Talked to the boss and he agreed with what I said

littl3chocobo 12-29-2016 09:53 PM

eep, when does it have to be shipped?

oh, well that is good, i think? she wont quit over this will she?

SparX 12-29-2016 09:57 PM

definitely not. It would be EXTREMELY stupid of her to let this job go. She gets more then the allotted time for breaks, can break whenever, lunch is usually paid for, and it is double federal minimum wage. And you get payed for lunch, you don't have to clock out >.>
I feel like her biggest issue with me is being way younger yet having more responsibilities and authority over things >.>

littl3chocobo 12-29-2016 09:58 PM

wow... that sounds like a hella cushy job

SparX 12-29-2016 10:00 PM

On her end definitely.
It's nice, but as said I have quite a bit more responsibilities then her and we get payed the same....
>.>
Man I am REALLY good at procrastinating.

littl3chocobo 12-29-2016 10:00 PM

well seniority usually comes with better pay?

it's easy when you play here XD
