There's no limit to the raffle tickets? Interesting...

Lawtan 06-22-2017 09:51 PM

If I recall, it is until the 29 of June...

Well, it depends on the kind of booze. Cinnamon schnapps goes rather well in black tea.

I literally can't be upright for more than a few minutes when they get really bad. Ibuprofen is also a big help.

Ibuprofen is on my no-go list, along with anything based around aspirin.

Pain at the end of the day could be a tip off that it's muscular, and caused by tension and wear throughout the day. That's why my doctor suggested I try to address mine with physio. Mine were almost exclusively towards the evening. Waking up with migraines and neck pain is another matter.

mdom 06-23-2017 12:16 AM

I mean limit on the number of tickets xD

Boris 06-23-2017 12:33 AM

I don't think there's a limit since it wasn't specified.

Quiet Man Cometh 06-23-2017 09:51 PM

Ack! Summer Steam sale! I don't need this.

It's really random when the pain starts, but lately, I've been either waking up with the headache or it's started late in the evening. I might pay my chiropractor a visit on Monday, just to see if that helps. I'm just glad I'm not getting neck pain currently. Twelve years ago, I had whiplash injuries, and seven years ago, aggravated it somehow while I was asleep, so I'm always on alert for a relapse, because neck spasms are pretty much crippling for me. I can barely move, and daily duties are all but impossible. I can barely drive, which means I have to either get a ride from my housemates, or wait it out.

There's a difference between your wallet not needing it, and /you/ not needing it.

Quiet Man Cometh 06-24-2017 04:12 AM

Well my needing things affects my wallet.

Espy 06-24-2017 04:16 AM

Hmm. Least you haven't already spent $60 on it.

Quiet Man Cometh 06-24-2017 04:30 AM

I had to pay car insurance this month. It was more than I planned. Ick.

Espy 06-24-2017 04:55 AM

I'd do the whole buy-you-something-if-you-pay-me-back thing, but you know how I have credit card issues :|

SparX 06-24-2017 08:15 PM

-sucks on a smirnoff ice-

I wouldn't ask you to, especially since the point of not spending money is to not spend it in the first place. I might get some of these $2 ones though, just because.

Boris 06-24-2017 11:27 PM

I like people who offer to help... I'm too scared to ask for help most of the time.

Quiet Man Cometh 06-25-2017 06:27 PM

Do I get Ori and the Bind Forest or not? It's not one of those games that goes on sale much. I'd get the original Torment but 15% is a wussy sale! Steam can do better than that! I'll have a look at my accounts and see what's up. I have a job interview coming up so I might actually have an income source reasonably soon!

I also have tuition to deal with. I slept in on registration day and now I'm on a wait list for the course I wanted. Cue daily checking on e-mail to see if I get in between now and September.

mdom 06-26-2017 01:50 AM

My friends got that game, they're pretty hyped xDD
good luck getting the job!

Quiet Man Cometh 06-26-2017 03:20 AM

Just retail, but hoping anyway. It's my favourite store! And not too far away from me. I'm hoping I can manage to keep it with my courses this year so I can keep my accounts up, and have something extra to do.

mdom 06-26-2017 11:00 AM

Oooh busy QMC! You can do it!! *\o/*

Espy 06-26-2017 02:49 PM

One of my friends has Ori and he says it's pretty good.

Quiet Man Cometh 06-26-2017 08:01 PM

There seems to be a lack of interesting RPGs right now, or at least that are of a price I'm inclined to pay. Blah!

*makes tea*

Quiet Man Cometh 06-26-2017 08:37 PM

Has tea now, and nearly tipped it over. My eyes got big fast.

Boris 06-26-2017 08:38 PM

How did you nearly tip it over?

Quiet Man Cometh 06-26-2017 08:44 PM

Just went to grab it and knocked it slightly, since I'm looking at my computer screen and was working from my peripheral vision. My personal mugs at home are all straight sided but I'm at my sister's and hers taper towards the bottom making them easier to tip. It's proximity to my computer I think was an afterthought. I was more concerned about not having my tea.

Boris 06-26-2017 10:10 PM

I see. That does make sense.

Never seem to have much to say at times, I notice, or perhaps as it relates to potentially spilling tea?

It's coffee now.

Illusion 06-26-2017 11:12 PM

*comes in with my own drinks*

Who wants apple juice and animal crackers!?

There are times where I don't have much to say, either because I can't think of anything, or I think of something but shouldn't be said. I'm not fond of coffee, though.

I want animal crackers.

Illusion 06-26-2017 11:18 PM

If you want them you have to guess what this cartoon this is:

"Show stars a hard tough butt cop who has nothing to lose."

Boris 06-26-2017 11:23 PM

I think you posted in the wrong thread, but that show sounds vaguely familiar.

Potironette 06-27-2017 12:04 AM

I don't really drink juice, but animal crackers are fun to eat! -bites heads off-

Espy 06-27-2017 01:41 AM

Eugh. Never really liked animal crackers. I'll take the apple juice, though. Just...stop me if I start drinking it too fast -- I tend to have an adverse reaction to drinking specifically apple juice way too quickly.

Illusion 06-27-2017 03:40 PM

*notices everyone ate my animal crackers without answering the question*

THEFTS! HEAVENS! SCOUNDRELS!

Potironette 06-27-2017 03:50 PM

*runs away*
What question was it? Who wants animal crackers and juice? It's too late D:

Lawtan 06-27-2017 07:55 PM

>.>

In my defense, they were tasty.

It's the "butt cop" part that's throwing me.

I have no desire for your apple juice or animal crackers.

Potironette 06-27-2017 08:28 PM

Ohh that was the question. Uhh I don't watch cop shows. *replaces some animal crackers with goldfish*

Quiet Man Cometh 06-27-2017 09:58 PM

All that comes to mind for me is The Dragon (which I never watched) and Sam and Max, which is more of a detective thing.

mdom 06-27-2017 10:38 PM

I don't want animal crackers, i'm more interested in a butt cop...
