Also, with the bases they do look a lot different with items on them. You can make any base look good if you have good items, which Jinksu does have. But I'm also going to be bias here and say I like the bases nakie so... xD

Five admins is quite a lot tho O_o I don't think I've ever seen an avi site with five admins.

Well when the site first opened there were a lot of different categories that then got compacted. So two of our admins would have fallen into "Human Resources" if that category was still available. But the legend was getting unnecessarily long, so the compaction is better.

Our admins all provide different services, one of them is a deligator, another a keen writer, another a really talented developer, another with finances etc.

Though all in all, Jinksu does have a fairly large staff. Personally I see this as better because it will help us get things done after a period of inactivity when we were still under the main control of the previous co-owner.

I don't think TinierMe is too bad. ; u; Their items are definitely the cutest out of all the sites that I've been on, though that doesn't entirely make up for the lack of communication from staff. e____e; Makes it a lot harder to fix issues like the rigged "magic ball" item. |D;; Man, that was a disaster.

I still like Gaia, but mostly only because a lot of my friends are on there. ; u; I'm also on Crysandrea.~

A few other sites like Mene and Solia interested me for a bit, but... meh. xD; I kind of faded away from those after a while.

I'm on... a bunch of avi sites, but I'm mostly here lately is all, but I have Gaia, Solia (waiting for art to get the hell off of ~also has issues with admins~), Crysandrea, and ernya. I don't spend a lot of time on Ernya unless there's an event, and I've got one RP on Crys and is the only reason I'm still there, TBH >3<' One event and I was... highly disappointed to say the least. Gaia I don't think I'd ever be able to quit but I'm rarely on.

i hate solia, i agree with xia's feelings and DMS. i have had my own run in the muck of unfairness with them but i won't get into it.
i'm kinda glad hannah doesn't work for them anymore, she was amazingly awesome and should be making pretties for sites that aren't shit.

i'm almost fed up with ernya, after a few things that went down that seem utterly silly and stupid, i'm losing my respect for that site and ernya. honestly i think i only stay because i like the avatars and items.

gaia, is expensive and i hate that but i'm still loyal sadly.

and i signed up for this site then forgot and i'm trying to get more active on it. xD i don't know anything about the community but i love the items and avatar! also since silver is an artist it's instalove, i've stalked silver for a long time. >>;

Personally I don't really find the site shitty at all. It's had a lot of bad luck. I used to mod for the site and I really enjoyed it, sadly other commitments meant I couldn't stay there. Plus, I was the only really active mod at that time, something that is not fun, especially when you have a whole site to deal with in a time of event D;

Basically drama follows the site around like a bad smell due to the previous owner, Alex, who then "left" But to be perfectly honest, I believe that the friend he handed over ownership to is himself, just under a new account name. Speaking with another few people has cemented my original thoughts.

Alex is a really nice guy and the site does have great potential, just with the history of the place and two staff members in particular, who I know for a fact lack dedication to sites because I've worked with them before, the site will have a lot of trouble achieving the potential which, as I previously said, it has.

Elidiun opened up a little late, sadly. But it has entered it's beta-phase. - nod -
I think Elidiun will be doing some beta-waves which will gradually allow more people to enter the site and play around with it's features. c:

They had an email posted on facebook where you can apply to become a beta tester.
They chose 15 people at random to enter Elidiuns first wave of beta testers and will be accepting more into the site in a little while. c:

Oh yeah, people never got a proper explanation from Alex. If he was upfront from the beginning he wouldn't have had the problems that he did. I have to say, I did feel quite sorry for the amount of drama and hassle that people gave him. He may have had a few skeletons in his closet, but it was a bit far. All in all Alex is pretty decent.

I personally prefer to join sites that don't have baggage, since said baggage tends to haunt the site if not taken care of quickly.

I've been on most sites, and that isn't the case when they just start. When most sites open up, they don't baggage or skeletons.

"Just start" is a different issue for me...I'm not alert enough to actually know when there are new sites x_X

I tend to join sites within the first few days to within the first six months. Either through word of mouth, lurking, or searching on google.
