I recently tried the Rift trial, did not like the game, recently tried Eden Eternal which almost made me throw up it was so bad, so yeah.

If I wasn't playing a lot of other stuff (and the US and EU servers weren't separate) I probably would have tried Mabinogi.

I hate click to kill games, especially when they are auto attack like Eden Eternal, the game's fighting machanics were shallow and unfun. Mabinogi is the only MMO I've played for years.

In general I don't like them either, I just found Eden to be a lot better than many of the others I've tried.

Mabinogi...well I had a nice time with it for awhile. The exploring and character creation is very fun. I wasn't so enamored with the combat to honest. It's not bad but meh I didn't like it. Too much paying attention I guess xD Countering was also a pain in the ass.

I made a kid elf. It was kind of neat to see him grow. But he was so cute! I wish he didn't grow up. If only there was a way to stunt him. xD I'm sure he wouldn't appreciate though. >_>

~shrugs~ I've been playing Minecraft alot lately, and I actually started playing Elder Scrolls Oblivion alot lately, Pc so I can mod the crap out of it xD

favorite mod ever for Oblivion is definitely the Necromancer's guild mod. I got to destroy the Mage's Guild and become a lich, how can I not love that?

No problem, I used to play Oblivion religiously. I loved the story line and the expansions, I can't wait for Skyrim I preordered that and Assassin's Creed Revelations and Saint's 3 cause I like shooting things every once and awhile and it has a great storyline even if it is about Gangsters.

I can't wait for Skyrim, I preordered it for 360 but I'll get it for PC once the game of the year edition comes out which will have all the expansions. I'm excited for the mods, which Bethesda is another company that likes the use of mods, actually they hired some of their best designers from the modding website.

modding communities have grown for games like that I think it'll just get bigger when Skyrim comes out. You could always request it on the modding forums and see if anyone could get it up for you.

I hope they get better voice acting and make the NPCs actually look different this time. That bothered me, they had like four voice actors for the NPC villagers that all looked the same.

Yeah, I'm excited, right now I'm trying to find a png of the avi base of Trisphee, I'm bored and feel like making items but too lazy to search for the png of the base.

I prefer working with the actual png, it's nicer for me, I'm OCD like that. Gawd I haven't played with Pixel art for an Avi site since ZaffCast, I've just been doing custom work on Maple Story Sprites.

I'm working on shading, other then that I'm decent, I couldn't be an item creator or anything but I like to play around from time to time, when I started spriting in the maple community I became I big critic so when I first joined Tris I was like "omg what is this crap" but I've warmed up to it, still bugs me that the newbie items don't match and look hideous. The only thing I ever liked newbie stuff in was Mabinogi but that's another story. I really need to stop being so critical of the items here xD

The thing with Mabinogi is that it's not meant to be a solo game, it's a very community based game. Minus the few elitist pricks who think they're the most bad-ass players on the servers. Some MMO's play different and you just need to find that thing you're good at in it, you said something about having an elf, which trying to be a mage on an elf is one of the worst ideas, the skills cost more AP but have no bonuses to the human magic.

With Mabi you should start in Tir and do the beginner quests to become familiar with the combat, because it isn't just another game that you can just jump into and click monsters. Alot of people don't like Mabi because it actually requires you to do something and not just click the enemy.
