I'm alright I just woke up and I need to get my 3 sewing projects done by the 7-10th of October

why whats going on on the 10th of October. I need to go to the fabric store and get some fabric to make my nephew his first Halloween costume ^_^ I am making him a monkey one with the red vest and hat!

well nothing right now but I like to get thing done before the event in which I'm a model for a Japan America Association of Colorado Festival (Cosplay Fashion Show) and I got an outfit thought out and got the supplies for I just need to sew it all together with close to no pattern.

Its the 7th that has an event in which I'm making my friend puppy ears and tail from faux fur DX.

One Costume done, 1.5 to go

*does a quest dance*

Wow sewing with no pattern thats impressive! I would never be able to do that! What kinda costumes are you making besides the puppy one?

Well the part with no pattern is a band and apron which I have a skirt pattern that I can use and the dress part is going to be used in a previous pattern so I don't need to buy a new one.

It's just basic

Well the reason why I can think it up is because I drew what design of the outfit I wanted

My mom has been sewing her entire life pretty much and she can't sew with out one.

So is my mom, then I'm starting to learn how to sew via youtube and google search.

then sometimes I ask my mom through the phone.

And then I know how to knit (Grandma taught me) and crochet (my aunt had to teach me since I crochet left handed)

I tried to learn to croquet from a book and youtube but I never got the hang of it.

I learned it from my aunt. it would be close to impossible to teach me how to crochet from a book and/or youtube because most people that crochet are right handed and I'm left handed there are close to no teachings for left handed people

i am right handed and I still couldn't do it

it takes a lot of practice

maybe thats my problem lol

My problem is the patience and I don't really have the muscle memory like not looking at it and still do that motion so it would be the hand eye coordination doesn't really work, but my foot and eye coordination works

I have no muscle memory either! T_T

So at least we have something in common

a not so good thing

why is that not good?

wouldn't it be good to have muscle memory?

Gone to 2 cons, learning to sew all by myself, Moved to an apartment, went through 4 jobs, and so much more.

What did Wicked did this year

it got slow in the beginning because I was in the process of moving then later when I had so much things going on then it went fast

I moved 3 times in 2 years because of lease, but I think this place is a good place to stay

thats a lot of moving i am glad you found a good place to stay
