Meh... the food is slowly starting to kill me here... and my brother is starting to tick me off...

Yeah I've been working and posting hard...My Tris New Years Resolution is to complete my entire quest by the end of the year so I can start my charity...

And we just had a bit of a family emergency...Apparently, there is a new law (not sure if state or federal, but at least in North Carolina) that states that if someone with a provisional license (normally 16-18) gets pulled over for any misdemeanor vehicle violation they will get arrested and have to be released from custody by a parent/guardian...so yeah...15 over the speed limit is how fast my sister was going...

And yeah, it is good since the last two hours of it I had to worry about frost on my car and ice on the road (wasn't much, just had to worry about)

But yeah, it's a brand new law that went into effect yesterday, and the highway patrolman that pulled her over said it was his second that day...there have only been 8 made period...

Ouch....that is a bit crazy. There should a be a leniency period for a short time after the law goes into effect.

I have no clue what happens if you're not a resident, we just know that (for once) my sister lost her cool...she was bawling...

Well, I'm not sure what happens. I have general idea from experiences with my dad, but meh.

He put her in handcuffs (which left a nasty cut on her wrist) and had her sit in the front seat of the car...so not sure why he actually had to cuff her, she was crying so much all of her eyeliner was down her cheeks...What's worse, is that she was already late for work (she teaches tumbling to 5-7 year olds at a gym) and he wouldn't let her quickly call her boss until 10 minutes after her class had already started...

He seemed to be trying to catch the high school students speeding, seemed almost saddened when he found out she was going to work and who/what she was teaching, and then we get there, and he seemed saddened when he asks if my sister went to the local High school and was told No, she went to the Early college...

The guy was out to get any high school age kid...

Wow....that is just being a dick. Although I am sure they were told to strictly enforce.

Yeah, he had to pull her over, but literally he was going the other way on the road, clocked her (while she was going down a rather steep hill no less), had to turn around to get her, and didn't have his lights on until right before she was about to get on the interstate...so yeah...simply being a dick...Did I mention that out of the 8 cases so far this year, he had already gotten one earlier that day in Rowan County???

Yeah, you mentioned. That is just insane. I have had cops pull some crap with me, but nothing like that. Granted I had one try and fail horribly (I saw him coming.....*chuckles*)

He was just being an ass and wanting to fill his quota...

Yeah...he was one of the few troopers we don't know in our area...We know all but like two and he was one of them...

But oh well...Daddy threw a fit and the such, and after harassing my sister, decided it was a good idea to harass me...needless to say, my afternoon basically sucked once daddy got home...
