Woopsie blinked and followed side by side, "this place seems really great I'm so grateful to be here" she meowed. Looking around she wondered how a place came to be most humans are protective about their things. "How long have you been here Nikko?" she asked.

"Me? I have been here for a about a few days so I am fairly new. It is a nice place, I am also lucky to come here also my self. So how did you hear about this place?" he asked her walking along. I am the manry-est of men! |
Mirri watched as Rin made her attempts to climb the cat tree, and getting distracted by the feather toys. She looked to the top of one of the cat trees, the crouched and tamped her back feet down before leaping offortlessly to the top platform. It was not as high as the cat tree the little bobtail was attempting, but it had a nice view outside of the window. She kept an eye on Rin from time to time but at least in this room things were soft and there were no book cases for the kitten to get stuck on top of.
She lay on the platform, looking out the window, her plumed tail swishing from side to side. When Kali came back, she decided, she would go looking upstairs and find a suitable room, but right now her perch and window would do. (yeah, Mirri doesn't do a heck of a lot unless she needs to) |
*after taking a long time of enjoying the food jin-ball slowly walks to a room a curls up on the floor*

Looking about Woopsie thought she couldn't realy remember how she'd found out about it, she thinks some strange cat told her of its whereabouts. "I believe another cat told me about this refuge" she nodded. "So what brought you here? my humans upped and left they didn't want to take me with them" she said sadly.

"I was brought here cause I found them the same way but I was also left behind by my family also and it was rather sad. . . " he said to her. I am the manry-est of men! |
Woopsie nodded sagely humans were very disrespectful she felt. "It is sad but at least we have found this place" she liked to try to be optimistic. Although she did miss the human little girl that played with her. "So where are we going?" she asked changing the subject.

"Oh yes, well I can show you this awesome play room, it has toys and places to climb a long and many places to hide lay in the sun I think you may like it and after this if you are okay with it I can show you the kitchen where we get snacks and meals, cream and milk." he said to her walking a little ways down heading into one of the rooms. I am the manry-est of men! |
Woopsie smiled she was already feeling so at home in this new place "that would be great" she said following Nikko as he lead the way back downstairs. Lying in the warm sunshine was her favorite hobby she thought ruefully to herself. She was really impressed with her new home and so glad she was here.

"It's a nice day out isn't it." Paws stated toward Mirri the older cat. She let off a soft purr as the sun bathed over her form and warmed her up. ------ Bored of the feathers, Rin started her climb once more. She was determinded to get to the highest part of this tree. Her bell jingled with each hop like step she took up the carpeted tower. "Mirri! How'd you get up yours so fast? Thats not fair!" she whined as she made it to the second ledge. |
Kali returned to the room to see Rin trying her hardest the climb the tower.
"Rin, there's a trick to it," she said as she pounced up the tower next to it. "You've got to aim a few inches higher than the platform, and then you can't miss," she added with a smile. |
"do they serve coffee? I got a taste for it" she said cheekily, they arrivedd at the playroom and she looked around in surprise. There were toys and climbing condo's and nice benches to sit upon. "Hello all" Woopsie said entering the playroom. Looking at the cats she wondered what she'd like to do and decided that a climbing condo would be fun. She wiggled her bottom as she crouched with a purr she jimped and landed on the level. She indicated for Nikko to follow so they could talk some more.

Looking down from the top of her condo, Mirri watched Rin with a hint of a smile on her face. "Your little legs need to grow first."
Mirri continued looking out the window, not moving much besides her swishing tail, and leaned slightly towrds Paw. "Is there a stream here? With fish?" Having been a city cat for the past few years, Mirri had missed some of the perks of live in the woods. |
Looking around Woopsie noticed another cat on a climbing condo, she was staring out the window, tail swishing. "A stream? I've never fished before" Woopsie said to the cat, she smiled in a friendly manner.

Mirri sat upright, looking at the new cat, her tail still swishing. "I used to fish for my kits when we had no human. It tastes better than the goopy fish cake that humans make." She made a tiny lick of her lips, small enough that she might not even have noticed.

Woopsie blinked "oh I see, I'm Woopsie" she said to introduce herself, "have you been here for long?" she asked. Cocking her head to the side she looked at the cat with interest. She had never dealt with so many other cats before in her life.

"Yes, it is a stream. The human that keeps the place running for us often comes by to make sure the fish are healthy and good to catch and eat. Feel free to go fishing any time." Paw answered Mirri then turned to Woopsie purring. "Welcome to the Charity Mansion. I hope you enjoy it here." ------ Rin scrunched her nose as Mirri commented about her legs needing to be longer, then tried what Kali did only to reach half way to the landing. Slowly climbing up, little claws getting stuck in the carpeted wood, she made it to the second landing. "Rin and Mirri just arived a little while ago!" Rin answered to the new older cat. "Rin is Rin and Mirri is that one who called Rin short!" Rin gave off her best sad face. |
"They'll grow," Mirri said matter-of-factly to the pouting kitten. "Just practice in the meantime."

Woopsie looked around and blinked "thank you for the welcome I'm very gratefull to be here" she replied with a smile. "Its a lovely looking day outside isn't it?" she asked... peering out the big window. She was starting to feel at home here.

*wakes up from a long nap and walks towards the sound of other cats*

"It is quite a lovely day. So warm and pieceful." the grey shorthair answered. ------ (nothing for rin in this post) |
Looking at the grey shorthaired cat she smiled "I love how my furr gets all warm from the sun" she purrs lazily and stretches. "I could just sit in the sun all day and not worry about anything" Woopdi muses.

Kali pounced to the top of the tower and loomed down.
"It is a pretty day, I almost want to go lay outside in the sun" she said with a smile. |
Woopsie's ears pricked up at what Kali said "shall we explore?" Woopsie asked, she loved exploring, especially in such nice weather, her eyes roamed the yard outside, it looked so tempting.

Seeing that Rin was occupied with climbing the cat condos, she decide it was a good time to seek out some shade. The sun was starting to make her cook in her heavy coat. It would be good to wander among the grass and plants for a while; climb trees instead of wandering dirty, city streets.

Woopsies whiskers started twitching they do that on their own accord when she was excited. Looking around her tail swished with anticipation. Oh how she loves exploring.

"Let's go!!!" Kali giggled pounding off the tower and out the door. "Last one there is a rotten egg!" she yelled after heading towards the back door and out into the garden area.

*looks back and forth*

"we're off outside to explore" Woopsie shot down the cat condo like lightening and followed after Kali "I'm not going to be a rotten egg" she purred as they made their way outside.

Paw deciding that it would be in her best intrest to stay in the play room and keep an eye on the kitten and listen for possible newcomers, stayed on her pearch. "Have fun!" She called out. ------ After many attempts, Rin the kitten Bobtail finally made it to the top of the cat condo. What she found up there made her eyes sparkle with joy. "BIRDY TOY!" She shouted as she attacked it, the birds motion tweeter went off as the calico kitten's bell jingled with each pounce she made on the defenceless toy. |
Kali pounced out the door and into the warmth of the afternoon sun.
"This is perrrrrrfect!" she purred happily. |
Meh... i might go back to the office an make sure all the paper work is done first...
*wanders off back to the office* |
Woopsie followed and looked around, she saw a butterfly and couldn't help chasing after it, batting at it playfully in the green grass. She couldn't believe what a home she'd found in such a short time of arriving.

Paws had dozed off. The sunlight so comforting and warm, the breese through the window so soothing and cool. A cats dream nap area for sure. ------ ---nothing here for rin this time around--- |
Not interested in such things as rotten egg races, Mirri ambled at her own pace outside and torwards the stream she has seen from the window. Looking back she could still see Rin taking on the springy bird toy. The kitten seemed happily occupied, so Mirri contined padding through the grass until she came to a suitable shadey spot next to the stream with an overhanging tree. She climbed up the tree and settled on a brach that hung just a foot above the stream, eyes watching for small flashes in the water that indicated the presence of tiny -and hopefully tastey- fish.

-- Nothing for Cat for she is napping-- ------ The tweeting toy bird bounced around as the kitten batted it from corner to corner of the cat condo tree. The sounds the thing made didn't sound truly like a bird but it was fun to attack. The bell that dangled from the braclet, found on the street back when their last home caught fire, jingled merrily as she bounced around the top of the carpeted tower. |

Kali pounced around outside in the bright sun.
"This truly is paradise!" she giggled. |
Cat slowly woke up and rose to her feet. It was about supper time and the food should be ready so she went to the door and called out for everyone. "Everyone! Food should be ready! Follow me to the kitchen for food!" ------ Rin heard the word food and look up from her tweeter bird toy. Her stomach gave a small pur as she went to the edge of the condo and looked down. It was so high. Whimpering she backed up into the middle and called out for her guardian. "Mirri!" |
