Don't let them in your mouth!

I was talking about the frog.

The most exotic thing I've ever eaten was probably Moose, though that's hardly exotic. It does not taste like chicken. Bison is better, or barley fed white-tailed deer. Best meat ever. ;)

Lawtan 11-21-2013 10:35 PM

Never ate any of that. *shrugs*
I wonder if people taste like chicken... XD

Espy 11-21-2013 11:49 PM

So, I just realized how many characters we've had named after angels.

Michael, Gabriel, Lucifer....

Suzerain of Sheol 11-21-2013 11:52 PM

Now, where are Uriel, Phanuel, Raguel, Rafiel, Remiel, Cassiel, Yofiel, Zadkiel, Baraqiel, Zagzagel...

...and of course, Galla's favorite, Sandalphon???

Gallagher 11-21-2013 11:55 PM

I will always love that crazy little shit.

I've had canned squid, and as much as you'll probably hate me for it, dog. In my defense, he ate a bit of me first.

Espy 11-21-2013 11:59 PM

Kadia is basically Uriel, in a very literal "fiery" sense. Lev/Nalsa is Zagzagel in a very warped sort of way... I guess Gall's healer would be akin to Rafiel.

Right. Squid. Forgot about that one, though I'm more partial to eel.

And no, not really. I might have objections if you were to eat *my* dog, but dog in general, not real objections. Of course, I've yet to actually encounter dog on a menu so I don't really know how I'd react to it.

I suppose things are only exotic if one doesn't encounter them on a regular basis.

It was less of a menu and more of my Phillipino neighbors/cousin's dinner. Dog in question had ravaged its fair share of people and was forced to be put down. And...never again.

Quiet Man Cometh 11-22-2013 12:22 AM

I'd be more concerned about eating what was used to put the dog down. Unless of course, it was shot.

Salone 11-22-2013 12:35 AM

Yeah. Shot. Old Yeller style.

To hell with that dog.

Espy 11-22-2013 12:36 AM

...-twitches slightly-

Lawtan 11-22-2013 01:09 AM

--not good memories--
(Rurik is relevant here)

Switching topics, I need to find a *good* link to the different angels. Help?

Suzerain of Sheol 11-22-2013 01:16 AM

I'm not actually all that sure, I get my knowledge mostly from books, primarily A Dictionary of Angels, and The Encyclopedia of Angels.. The Books of Enoch are pretty good, too, though they're actual stories.

I've got a bunch more coming for Christmas, will let you know how they are.
