Nope.. Kimba (Leo the Lion) was made by the same Japanese dude who made astro boy..(American Release was 1964) and then in the 1990's Disney came up with Lion King

Yes Simba is based on Hamlet in story... but in character. PFFFTT no it's not... seriously.

The characters are so similar..the situations so similar..that they CAN sue... but won't...because they dont have enough money to take down Disney

xD I never read hamlet so I wouldn't know.. All I know is that the way a lot of the stuff is, is copied from kimba
