Ernya's and Solia's avatar just look too "pretty" for me, and not really in a good way.

Agreed, Ernya is just to girly in general. AND THEY HAVE A PROBLEM WITH RED FACIAL HAIR.

Ernya's bases are shaded weird IMO, but that's the least of the problems. They are way too feminine for my liking and the lack of variety in items doesn't help. And yes, totally prejudiced against red facial hair for some reason. >:[

Yeah...making a male avatar on there was a huge pain in the ass. Holy shit. I still looked like a prepubescent boy.

The issue with red facial hair on Ernya... is that it doesn't exist. They have very little facial hair and it's all marble items, which only come in one to three colors. They have an item with stubble, but it only comes in brown (fortunately, the lighter options make the color less noticeable so that it works with different hair colors). The ones that do come in other colors only offer black or blond, aside from the wizard beard I think, which comes in white.

Come to think of it, all the more masculine body settings to come out recently have been marble items. Facial hair and features that aren't super girly are apparently just not popular enough to incorporate into DIs or even commons.

Just about any complaint in the feedback section is at risk of being attacked as "ungrateful". There are some rabid Ernya fans on there.

Do, do, do. Sometimes they are legit responses, more so lately than in the past, but people at least used to just get outright shot down by users who felt like their complaints or suggestions were "rude".
Willis got bitched at for saying that she didn't like a particular item once. Something about how it was mean and insulting to the site and the people who made it. And people around there love to pull the "if you don't like it, why don't you just leave?" response.

@Creep: I never really stayed on that site so I don't even really know what kind of items they have xD. I doubt I ever even posted once on either Solia or Ernia, I just don't like their bases too much for some reason, they just seem too... shiny to me I guess...

I have heard that feedback isn't taken too... well on Ernya and Solia but, I can't confirm it or debunk it as I never ventured into the forums of either of those sites xD.

I normally copy my replies while the page is loading, and the one time I don't, the site wigs out on me and I lose my post. XD Lesson learned.

EDIT: I never touched Gaia's forums except for twice. I posted newbie questions about Gaia Homes accidentally to the Lifestyles section. Got bitched out for it. Never saw those replies, though. Gaia was never my home or something to return to.
