I'm looking for a full time proper job. I live and pay rent in the capital city of Scotland, where it's fairly expensive and I haven't managed to find a job yet.

What is your field? I know someone who got their doctorate at the Univ of Edinburgh in nematode genetics. But that is as close as I have come to Edinburgh. Do you speak Scottish Gaelic?

I don't really have a field. I didn't really do that great at high school, and then only one year at college. Next year I hope to go back to college to follow up on the previous course I did.

As for Gaelic, no. My parents are actually English so I never had an opportunity to learn through them.

I only have a small booster box of Magic Cards, not opened yet cause I haven't met anyone in the area that plays, plus I usually always put my playing decks in protective cases.

May be so, Ducky but I am sure there's tons more stores that are hiring as well. There's weeks where I am lucky to scrap up two places to send CVs or applications to. And I'm hoping to get a spot in the course at Ayr College so I badly need a job to pay for that.

I doubt I could come up there to play Ducky. :) Be kind of expensive and I am sure there has to be something similar around here. Maybe once my mom returns, we will go around and see if we can find someone hosting game nights at the pubs cause the only one I knew that did Magic gatherings, I don't know if they meet anymore or the exact address.. yes, less jobs available, but also less people looking. less people looking means they're more likely to take what thy can get. where as here all the jobs will be having thousands of people to pick from, meaning i have no chance in hell.

Sometimes I have to go into the office. The office is nearby, takes 10 min to get there. But I work on computers so I have the same set up at home as at work so I can do either. But my boss likes me to come in several days a week. Oh well. But Mondays I can stay home.

That sounds like quite a nice arrangement. I'v never done any work that can be done from home.

I had Sailor Moon TCG and Digimon TCG as well as Pokemon and Yu_Gi_Oh.. through never played those even through I had two decks to play with.

Is there a way to play Magic online and learn the concepts on there, so if I find some players, at least I would know the rules and how to play before hand?

There is a full on virtual version of the game, where you can buy virtual booster packs and everything. so in the end it's just as expensive as the real game, but you technically get nothing.
then there's the Duels of the Planeswalker game. That is a one of payment on steam/other and it has a load of single player stuff and multiplayer. Only provided decks though.

I'm in the Artist bracket, as that's the closest to what I'm doing o-o I'm doing video stuffs
