Pff, I love that word. > n> But without the z, the z is silly.
Edit; DON'T GET ME STARTED ON THAT WARRIOR PRINCE, BRO. |
What's Warrior Prince? o.o;
|
Oh. Prince Warrior. Whatevs, same thing.
It's got armor that becomes a shitty metal bikini if you use a female avatar--but is normal, practical armor for males. |
It's a knight in shining armor type item, the male pose for the curiass is full plate armor, the female pose exposes the belly and only has armor covering the boobs.
|
Oh wait. I know which one this is.
...Jeez, never got used to the lack of poses there. |
Lack of poses, lack of unisexing, lack of hairstyle variations, even so they have a bajillion hairs.
|
Almost none of which, you know, actually work for guys.
|
Nah, most of it is super fancy side-swept anime hair.
|
I wonder how much my items are actually worth now.
|
The hairs are all the same. Long flowy anime hair or long spiky anime hair, all with side bangs and sometimes with pigtails.
|
Espy: Likely a good deal, the inflation on that site is insane. Older stuff is worth a lot.
Willis: Yeah, that seems to be all they like. |
Not sure if you can tell what these are from the thumbnails. You think this stuff could fetch enough money for art?
http://i610.photobucket.com/albums/t...psf243ee13.png EDIT: Wow. Sorry, that thing is blurry as hell. |
The older event items, like from Halloween would be worth the most, the skins in particular, I'm not sure how much the rest would go for.
|
The rest of the stuff wouldn't get much on its own, but in combination (particularly if you can sell something as a complete set), it'd add up quickly enough. And the skins alone would get you pretty far.
|
...You know, going through Ernya's item guide...I feel like the avatar are kind of modern teens, and wannabe RPG characters. And it makes me want to puke.
EDIT: Also. Ernya has a SHITLOAD of ripoffs from other franchises. |
They pretty much cater to the "typical teenage girl who likes anime" market, because that seems to be the majority of avatar site users. Ernya is very heavy on the feminine and typical "avi site" themes that you'd expect to find everywhere. Bows, pandas, angel/devil, cutesy things all around, and the occasional anime or video game knockoff.
|
Ah, okay.
What do you guys think of Tris, anyways? You're all relatively new. |
...Oh dear god the pandas....I hate pandas.
I love Tris, was kind of wary at first but I like it now. |
Same. Wasn't sure how much I'd like it, but it's quickly become my favorite now that Crysandrea's down and has a questionable future. I don't have any major complaints.
|
Coolsauce. It's not a big deal if you do have complaints XD
|
Naw. Doesn't have to be 100% made-just-for-me; as long as it doesn't press any of my big bad buttons it's great. Most sites seem to hit on at least one.
|
This place isn't pink, there are no pandas in sight, we have a red goatee and a suitable bartender outfit for me.
I'm good. |
Granted, we've a much smaller userbase, and things can be slow, but I really hope you guys can stay on Tris XD
We do have pandas, though. Just...very few. And not emo pandas Like...regular plushie pandas. ....aaaand I've lost my ability to speak coherently. |
I plan to stay here, I've set up this pub and everything.
...The pandas are unobtrusive and out of sight for the most part. I am fine with this. |
XD Don't wander into Panda's shop, then. Nothing against him/her.
|
As long as they aren't an overwhelming theme of the site/items, I don't care about no stinkin' pandas.
And it'd be nice if there were more activity going on, but it's small and I don't mind that much, either. I do not expect to leave any time soon. |
Also, the spambots aren't a regular thing >__< Just...just wanted to point that out.
|
...I kinda like the small, less people is a good thing.
|
Less people = closer-knit = generally fewer douchebags. We've had out share, but it happens.
|
> 3> I might have figured.
I like things small but not dead. I think Meez forums is about the biggest in terms of userbase that I can be comfortable with. It has its dull moments, but for the most part things keep moving. I like that. Too bad I hate Meez. |
Espy: I just noticed that quote in your signature
"Open for me and let me in your lover is standing in the moonshine," Where's that from? ...I hate large userbases. |
Auuuuuuugh fucking--
My headache's drowning out my thinking, and my fever's making my whole body burn up. This is just great. Tris has been a bit slower than usual event-speed lately. It's weird. I should warn you, though, event-speed is generally quite a bit faster than normal-speed. But we'll see. With the recent influx of newbies, we'll hopefully get moving a bit more quickly. |
Here's hoping~
o no Maybe you oughtta get you some rest. |
Excuse the double post. I'm being a good role model, eh.
I'M SO HAPPY YOU ASKED~ Sorry, being a squeal-y band fan right now. -cough- That's from Diese Kalte Nacht, from the German/Celtic band Faun. EDIT: Or....no double post. Okay then. |
Hrrm My cousin likes them, I think they're decent, not my favorite but nice enough.
|
o.o;; -is super happy again because people know about them-
...Uh. I need to calm down. Haha. Hah. |
I'm a bit surprised to find someone else who knows of them myself.
|
I should probably mention that, no, my avatar is not based off Oliver, in case you ask >.>
My friend sort-of recently introduced me to them. He likes Omnia better than Faun, though, while I like the opposite. |
Omnia I'm not familiar with,
Faun is nice, but ultimately not my style, This is my kind of music. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qttGJ3il62Y Seeed is my band and Peter Fox is the man. |
-laughing as off at music video-
Faun ties with Adrian von Ziegler's work in my books. von Ziegler's got some pretty nice music, too, but I tend to like Celtic stuff. |
