I'll need to free up one of my big afghan looms, which will either take many months or will mean frogging one of my projects since I have my skirt on one and an afghan started on the other and they're both barely started, but I will definitely share pics once I get around to making it.

My main immediate goal is just math and digging in my yarn stash for useable stuff that isn't saved for specific projects. And also to double check how worsted weight works up on my afghan loom with the ewrap stitch so I know if it will work or if I need to go with bulky weight yarns.

i mean, you don't have to make it now.... just show us pics when you do get there. =)

It's always more fun to start projects than to finish them.
But this is 100% the first project all winter that I'm actually excited about, so like...I don't want the excitement to go away before I can work on it.

For me, startitus is more of just starting lots of projects and not finishing them, whereas my giant dragon idea is...well, was until one of my friends drowned me in stress and then said "okay, sleep well" and I lost all interest, a project that actually made me feel a positive emotion for the first time in weeks.

Oh yes, I know the feeling so well! There's like 100 things that I want to make right away (yet I know I should finished my started projects first. I already have a faux leather neck corset in the making, and I NEED a bag to store my wool. Somehow I went grocery shopping yesterday to come back with 4 balls - purple, green, brown and an earthy multicolored one). Plus I still plan to do all past craftalong themes that I skipped.

@Den: I hope sweary embroidery means something along the lines of sweet cross stitch flowers on a pillow and instead of "home sweet home" it says "fuck off" - and not a project so friggin' complicated it makes you swear in frustration all the time.

Until I can afford to get Koprina's 3D self printed off and purchased, I've got a stand-in in progress. I found the pattern for the human parts on Pinterest (and a site that shows a step-by-step for the complete doll), and I've a few ideas on the arachnid splice parts, so we'll see how she turns out.

I didn't make a heart, but to stay true with February's theme, I call my crochet work "Break a skull and pop a cherry" - which is about as much love 'n' hate as my yarn can muster right now.

@Damies: Because that's how muses work! They shy away from decent times and rather give you inspiration at 1am or in the middle of your job shift.

@MonBon: A friend of mine played Love Nikki, I never did. But I remember years ago I played a similar game where you basically also bought clothes to dress up, enter fashion showdowns and "move up the ranks" with your sugar daddy type boyfriends from old b-list celebrity to some super hot and rich guy. Only caught my interest for a few days, even though the artwork was nice.
