Sims 3 were split into too many expansions and item packs
Sims 4 Were awful at least at release
I liked the original and Sims 2 tho

I liked the sims 3. There's a lot that you can do with the game. However it runs like poo on my laptop. I can be waiting for up to an hour on loading screens just to get into the game, so that's why I don't really play it now. I like the sims 4 now that there's been a decent amount of patches and theres some new content, though I do agree that in comparison to the others it's not the best. Sims 2 is forever my favourite though.

Yeah i especially like the makin magic expansion, it was fun and had lots of things to try in.

Quirk 12-21-2015 02:24 PM

I never had Makin' Magic. I had the original and House Party I think. I didn't really play that one all too much on PC, I preferred it on console. It was only with the later gens that I really got into PC gaming :)

Sims 3 on the Wii was disappointing.
There wasn't even any music in the game. D:

Quirk 12-21-2015 02:31 PM

I never had it on the wii. I was curious to try the console version of it though, I quite liked the sound of a karma system. Though I know it would be that way that I wouldn't enjoy playing it purely because there's not the freedom that you have with the PC version of the game.

Nightmare 12-21-2015 02:33 PM

Like.. it was cool in the sense that you could run around as your
character. But other than that, it was boring. There was barely
any noises in the game. It was just so quiet.

Quirk 12-21-2015 02:37 PM

That does sound pretty eerie haha. Soundtracks are probably one of my favourite parts of games tbh.

Nightmare 12-21-2015 02:47 PM

Saaaaame. It makes me so sad when there's none. D:

littl3chocobo 12-21-2015 03:00 PM

do you think it was to save space for other stuff?

Monorea 12-21-2015 03:12 PM

Nah soundtrack don't take up all that much space.

littl3chocobo 12-21-2015 03:13 PM

hm, that is strange(it takes up a lot of room in the other sim games)

Monorea 12-21-2015 03:16 PM

Well even small games that's just 100-200mb have great soundtracks and i don't think music is the majority of those mb
and other sim games are several gb in size so music should be just a small small portion of that. right?

littl3chocobo 12-21-2015 03:20 PM

a lot of them have looping soundracks and minimal voice though, sims are full 2-5 minute songs with dozens of voice options(each tripled, one male one female one child) it gets pretty big after a while X''D i've made a habit of removing soundracks from my sims games to make it run faster, you'd be surprised to see how much better it runs without tracks

Monorea 12-21-2015 03:24 PM

Well maybe they should have had looping soundtracks in that game instead of removing it completely then? I mean music is part of everything nowadays.

I can't even imagine trying to play a simulation game like the Sims on a console, that sounds awful. They were definitely designed as PC games.
