I think the only reason my parents didn't complain about me being a vegetarian was because my siblings were already impossibly picky, but unhealthy. I at least cooked for myself, and was fairly healthy about what I ate.

I'm pretty damn healthy about what I eat, besides the chips I enjoy every now and then? x-x I don't understand why being a vegetarian pisses them off so much. I cook for myself too, because no one else will. Not to mention, no one else knows how to cook my food properly... Besides when Dad grills my garden burgers every once in a while... Or grills some vegetables, but that's not just for me. That's for everyone. x-x Pink;; Erg. Stuff like that pisses me off. |
as soon as I got a car, mom always had Lucid driving down to the store to pick up groceries. she did the big shopping trips, but if there were 2 or 10 things she needed, she had no problem sending me down. it wasn't too bad since the grocery store was like a 2 minute drive away and had a road that connected to our neighborhood, but there were definitely times I didn't want to go.

yeah, I learned how to cook by myself by becoming a vegetarian. it was good for me! I'm pretty awesomely healthy, and I rarely snack on things. sure, I enjoy a good can of salt & vinegar pringles and can eat it in a day. but I don't buy them often, just to keep myself from always devouring them.
