i prefer blur rather than smudge.

well then blur it, whatever. :U just make sure it looks smooth and stuff like mine.
when I zoom in I think my pixels look funny but when I zoom out to 100% it looks normal! :D

nah i think i got the hang of it,its just the blending the highlights and shading with the outlines and such,makes it look like shit imo xD

It makes it look like REAL LIGHTING, yo! Solid outlines make items look cartoony and weird. And, as my Super Mega Foxy Awesome Hot Tutorial shows, everything looks better in color. Color's how you can test to see if it looks alright or not. I usually check a few different dark and light colors and make touch-ups from there.
You could read and understand everything I wrote, right? XD I've been told that my handwriting is hard to read sometimes so I worry.
