i was in the hospital last week.

i had a infection from bad dentistry. : ( it was awful.

eh I'm ok now. on a really strong antibiotic and had to have surgery and it went well.

also it's making me quit smoking. i smoke a pack a day, but after i got out of the hospital the smell of cigarettes became repulsive. so in a way i'm probably healthier now than i've ever been.

having the baby made me have to quit!

Babies are why I want to quit at allllll! I would smoke FOREVER if I could, but boyfriend and I talked and since we know we want children, it would be better to quit NOW instead of like when I get pregnant! NO NICOTINE in my fetus AT ALL.

How did you quit? They gave me patches in the hospital so I'm sticking with that. My boyfriend (we live together, I think that's relevant info) he switched to a vape for me. (He's a wonderful man, I said I gotta quit smoking now and he went out and bought a vape so I won't be tempted by his cigarettes. He said he doesn't want to be "One of those vape guys" but he did it anyway. ;-; HIs vapors smell like honey.)

I quit right that minute and it was hard and awful but i've not had one since

i can't even imagine doing that. with the patches i'm on half the nicotine i normally am and i'm going insane. i'm thanking the gods and the universe that i have this opportunity to quit BEFORE i'm pregnant, because I know it would have had to have been cold turkey that way. ;-;

yup i went cold turkey. it was awful. my boss kept complaining that i seemed depressed XD

i was like "omg i quit smoking and pot and alcohol all at the same time!!!"

ohhhh good lord.

i don't know if i should also quit pot right now?

i'm not a drinker, never have been, but i like smoking weed. part of me thinks I should stop that too, because after i hit the pipe i really want a cig, but part of me thinks "Claire, one step at a time."

....Guess who's accidentally gone cold turkey on their meds. I keep forgetting until too late in the day.

my mom smoke when we were kids and the smell was awful. I mean, she only smoked out of the house, but the stench was still on her clothes and hair and stuff.

we smoked in the apartment. i think the smell was leaking out of my skin.
: ( my mom told me my apartment never smelled as bad as I smelled.
