I would have to say my favorite egg dish is omelettes.

Mainly cause they don't take much effort and you can bang pretty much anything into them. My dad use to put jalapenos in mine the days I was off work in the States. Always stopped the pets from begging.

here that would just lead to looks of betrayal and barfing XD they'd still beg hahaha

My husband's father is from Mexico (and is currently there and not allowed back in the states....)so I've learned quite a bit from his family members XD
But he's also half Alaskan-native, so they also taught me how to make frybread and whatnot =O

I personally HATE eggs. The smell, taste, texture, look....I hate it all. I just can not and will not eat them.

Eggs in any form? Both the yolk and the whites? I think hard-boiled eggs/omelettes/egg custards/egg yolk vs egg white are pretty different.

Exchanging recipes would be wonderful. A lot of what I cook is improvised, but well loved by my hubby and friends.

A friend taught me how to make Tibetan bread and I've made a nice Irish Soda bread, but I don't know anything about how to make frybread.

Sorry to hear about your father-in-law. I imagine it would give you more reasons to vacation in Mexico.

I'm not up for being forced to sit and make tortillas and discuss religion with Mexican-catholic Grandma in law. His other grandma has already called me a white- heathen she-devil before sooo not sure how it would fly over with mexican grandma XD
Frybread is really simple and super yummy =O His native grandma taught me you could use it to make donuts, stew bread or even use the frybread like a tortilla and have indian tacos XD

There was a restaurant up north that was run by a lovely Chippewa family. They made the best Indian Tacos using frybread.

I... have no idea what I am. I was adopted, so my family background is based on my adoptive family's, and it's a mix of English, Scottish, Swedish, Irish, and German.

Now I want to make Swedish pancakes (They're like crepes, but lightly sweetened, and SO good with a sprinkle of powdered sugar, or dipped into maple syrup...)... I think I'll make those on Monday, when it's just me in the house, so I don't have to share. :f-raspberry:
