Okay, water oversaturated with salt is very, very different from bad alcohol :|

And I... have no tips. I don't make food a lot. I can search around after dinner though.

I like slightly salty water. Well, baking soda in water.

*gives EXTRA STRENGTH Red Bull!* And it's that kiwi one.

Ugh, don't enable Law. They once decided 5hr Energy was a good substitute for sleep.

Tiva 06-17-2017 11:02 PM

That is a bad bad bad idea

The sleep is a lie! I should know! I kept myself up for a week! Muahahahaha!

...don't actually do this. That was one of many elements behind my 2011-2013 madness that still has an affect on my health.

Espy 06-17-2017 11:21 PM

Yeah, I think the 5hr energy thing was near the tail end of 2013 :|

Hope you're doing a lot better recently. Haven't had the chance to actually talk to you much.

Lawtan 06-17-2017 11:38 PM

Ehh...I'm alive. And not as nuts towards people.
But still struggling a good bit, to be honest.

"But if you want to catch the light, you've gotta reach a little more."

Espy 06-18-2017 12:20 AM

Heh. I've introduced that song to more people, ever since you mentioned how helpful it was. I've still got the lyrics firmly in my mind.

You've got disaster to the left
And devastation to the right
Catastrophe in front of you
And a fiasco in behind
But if you want to keep the peace
Sometimes you have to go to war
So hup, two, three
It ain't worth nothing if it ain't worth fighting for

And it's gonna get better
Whoa oh oh oh, there's no telling where we'll go now
Go on, go on, go on and get it
Whoa oh oh oh, it's getting better, better, better, better, better.

*trying to imagine espy singing*

Espy 06-18-2017 12:58 AM

Ugh, no. To quote myself on FB, "I sound like a goat with a cold".

...Actually, have you ever heard my voice? I think you have. That must have been a damn long time ago.

Illusion 06-18-2017 01:38 AM

My singing voice used to be good, but I never practiced or know the difference between tunes. I was super good in middle school but I think a lot of kids have amazing voices younger and then loses it when their voices crack and change.

Espy 06-18-2017 03:21 AM

I'm solidly in the tenor range, but, uh, well. My voice isn't quite as /deep/ as a typical male voice, so.

Death by Mirrors 06-18-2017 07:59 AM

Awesome lyrics, but it somehow irritates me that the song sounds just like every random no-name pop song ever ^^"

Even goats with a cold can work well if they choose the right song and music style.

Lawtan 06-18-2017 08:01 AM

My voice is too deep...and often allergies...so yeah...
We could make the terrible triplet of songs! xD

Tam I am 06-18-2017 04:31 PM

My favourite song for rebelling against depression is 'Raise A little Hell'.

I usually opt for Classical music, myself... *band geek* Also, I used to be in the Soprano range (could prolly still hit some of the notes, but likely wouldn't sound good), but being moved to the Alto section in Freshman year (I was drowning out the rest of the Soprano section, even when I was singing quietly), paired with sporadic practice means I lost the upper end of my range. However, I can hit some of the Tenor range. I'm quite solidly in the Alto range, possibly up into Second Soprano range.
