I've been thinking about it a lot lately. I won't sugarcoat anything here. I don't know where else to really put this and I didn't want to make a thread so please forgive me for this I'm begging you.

My dad is dying. He has Stage IV bone cancer. We don't know if chemo is going to help him at all. It's all over his body so we don't think there is much hope. So yeah, death has been on my mind. Not myself dying, but just those around me I guess. Idk. I have been feeling numb though as if I am dead inside so there's that.

I've never been there to witness the death of a family member, but my heart goes out to you and your family.

I hope you feel supported here and in other places of your life and I hope you have fond memories of your father that you can look to for security and closure.

Though the meds he took sometime ago have made him confused and he was really hard to deal with cause he would hallucinate. Thus he was in the hospital for a week but is back home now and a nurse will be here twice a week to take care of things.

realized that i forgot the date of my dog's death.

So um................. there is no right way to put this but........... he just passed tonight. And it's actually his 65th birthday.

At least he isn't in pain anymore.

Him and I never could really see eye to eye. We would fight a lot, he made me kinda terrified of him since he often mentally abused me. But he still did mean something to me. And he wasn't always difficult to be around, he just had a bad temper.
