Weird being Asian and disliking ginger, huh.
how is it weird?
It is used everywhere xD
I also don't eat raw fish. I'm the rainbow sheep of the family |D |

Weird as in, kinda like me being weird, being of Mexican descent and I cannot stand guacamole or tamales. <x} |
I love ginger and for a while was using a lot of it. Was also wondering why I had so many gallbladder attacks at the time. Apparently ginger can cause that if you have already gallbladder issues.
But, but...guacamole is so good. |
:[ No avocado for me thanks. No sour cream either. >x{ Blehh.
Guacamole with ginger??? Heresy!!!
I fucking love sashimi.
But yeah, occasionally Mom will say “It’s been a while since we had steamed fish with soy sauce and ginger, because SOMEONE doesn’t like itâ€. Me: ...Okay look, it’s soggy and sauce-y and then there’s GINGER. |
i understand the concept of ginger being prolific in asian communities. that doesn't really have anything to do with my question XD i was asking why it was weird for a person to not like a spice. it's common as heck for people to not enjoy everything they put in their mouths
Oh, I didn't mean that the whole disliking ginger thing is weird; I meant that it's weird trying to navigate through Asian cuisines when you don't like ginger.
oh, so 'unfortunate' more than weird x''D
Mhh, yes. That would have been a better term.
so how are you doing this evening?
Not weird for me as a person, weird for me as an asian
I'm not doing well. <:c I miss food in my digestive organs.
I was in the same state earlier until I acquired food.
