You and me both... only I'm 5'-6" and approximately 80 pounds overweight. The only thing that stands in my way (other than being lazy) is the fact I am usually forced to sit all day long due to my job.

NoLifeKing 12-16-2010 12:37 PM

I'm happy now. I thought I was old but apparently not. %D

Shenandoh; I don't do really any exercise at all (aside of walking around at school on the days I actually have classes) but I am still dieting by eating less and I'm losing weight because of it. oxo

Echo-chan713 12-16-2010 02:12 PM

I used to eat frequently in smaller portions then when I got a seasonal job for Halloween (because people are procrastinators XP) where my first job experience I worked in a 12 hr shifts 7 days a week with barely a break/lunch, so I had to start eat less frequently but in biggger portions and for some reason with in a month I lost about 30 lbs and I always carried a gallon of water with me.

There are some easy exercises you can do (but they would be preferable if you have an office that isn't shared with others. xD)

yea. For me I hate the cold and don't have the motivation to do excerise. I've always been like that since I was a baby

Alexander Linden 12-16-2010 06:33 PM

I hate cold and hot... I sweat much more easily than most people, even though I'm not really that overweight. It may be a medical condition, but I don't have the money to see a doctor about it (and yes, it really is bad enough that I /should/ see a doctor).

I don't do things that make me sweat. >>;;

I sweat a lot too, so I have to use a clinical-strength antiperspirant (but thankfully those are sold over-the-counter now) but I like the cold -- I'm really comfortable around 40 degrees F.

Alexander Linden 12-16-2010 08:08 PM

That doesn't help me.

Coda 12-16-2010 11:33 PM

It's not really enough for me either, so I just try to avoid temperatures above 70 degrees as much as I can avoid it. x.x

o.0

I really wouldn't worry about it at all. That is a perfectly okay weight for your height. It's a nice, healthy weight.

You don't want to be skinny-skinny. I was once extremely thin, and I look back at pictures now and realize I look sickly and anorexic. :x

Trinka 12-22-2010 02:38 AM

Oh goodness, where this conversation has gone.
I'm 5'3 and around 150 pounds. Not perfectly happy, but it will do.

My job exercising is strange, I work as a theatre technician so on some days I'm crawling around through grids, and on other days I'm just sitting for hours and hours setting up cues. So some days I exercise, some days I don't. But I am currently on break, lovely amazing break, so I took today, and walked for a good five hours. It was great, I've been feeling awesome all day.
If I had the time, I'd walk everywhere, but my schedule is just so busy, I can never make time for the gym or anything of the sort.

Panda, you look fine. If you want to exercise to feel better about yourself and be healthier, props to you, and there are bunches of tips throughout the entire thread. I actually write the word no on my palm when I know I'll be at a buffet or a catered show, and I'll use that to remind myself that I really do not need to be near the table with small fancy cakes on it.
So good luck, you look great now, and good luck to you.

I'm really happy my parents gifted me a year sporting at the gym around the corner =) Really sweet! Now I won't only loose weight (I gained a lot the past half year due to personal stuff =x) but I will also get a tight body again 8D Kekeke. I want to go back when you could still see my abs a little... <3 - which is good timing too, a (rather pro) photographer wants me to model for him o 3o And I want to look good of course, who doesn't.

Time to start getting healthy supertime again 8D With.... water! -Fills bottles- xD

Once I'm into this stuff, I get pretty enthusiastic about it lol.

Gozed 12-22-2010 11:59 AM

Since I've been working I've lost 40 pounds, so now according to a chart in my doctor's office, I am within the healthy range for my build (6 foot, now 208 pounds). I'm still not happy with the appearance of my body, so for the new years resolution I am going to start doing exercises either when I wake up, or after I get off work, mainly sit-ups and push ups.

Silverbleed 12-22-2010 12:23 PM

@Gozed; I'd recommend also doing some fitness-like abs workout. It might feel kind of silly for you to do something like Zumba Flat Abs, but that's some incredible excersize. You won't have to do them all, just try a few moves and decide which you like and feels good. Those will help every part of your body and not only your back, tummy and arms. If you wanna look good, it's best to do them all 8D I used to look pretty silly back when I played volleybal. My upper body was (and still is) very skinny and muscled, while my lower body - especially my legs) are kind of 'left behind'. It's much better now, but still not equal xD
