Mizuki stopped as Thalion spoke. Was he just telling him to turn and leave and fallow after Felix? Mizuki turned from the male with half the thought of doing it just to piss him off. Though his thoughts ended as he was grabbed and before he could think that his lips were captured in a kiss. Smiling he kissed the male back before he got a thought in his head.

"Well...your the one thats telling me...I need to ask for help" He said with a smile before pulling back and looking right into ember orbs "So let me ask..." He said before moving back and half walking to the bed before he stopped "Well I could...think of somethings I need help with" He said with a smile his ears dipping back as he blushed a little.

Well that came to bite him didn't it? Ok at the moment he wasn't thinking that but he would tomorrow after things clicked in more. Not that he was probably going to complain tomorrow either. Really at the moment Mizuki didn't even have to ask, though in a way Thal liked that he was. He'd probably question himself tomorrow as to what the hell he was thinking seeing as they are in the middle of preparing for a battle.

"Oh really? I can't think of a thing you could possibly need." He said walking over to the other getting him to back up till he was sitting on the bed. Though Thal had no intention of letting him get away with just sitting as he pushed him down before leaning over top of him. "I can think of something you might want though. But I could be wrong." He said with a bit of a smirk before moving and biting the tip of Mizuki's ear lightly. Yep he'd be questioning what possessed him in the morning.

Mizuki smiled as he was pushed back so he fell down onto the bed. Mizuki was sure that right there was as far as Thalion was going to take things so when he was pushed back onto the bed with a drow over him he was a little shocked to say the least. Even if he wanted to continue thinking like he was he didnt have the chance as he felt a warm hand on his chest as well as teeth on a pointed tip of his ear.

Mizuki closed his eyes before reaching a hand up and putting it on a dark stomach above him. Mizuki thought himself lucky as his hand felt bare skin. Seems to him he reached up in the right place to get under the hanging shirt. Smiling he rubbed his hand over the stomach to the males side "I think your right..." He said commenting on Thalion saying he might know what he wanted.

With that thought he had to do the next movement. Moving his other hand up it was a quick movement and a shove before he rested over Thalion with a pale white clad thigh resting on the bed on either side of Thalions hips. Resting his hands on Thalions chest he leaned down with a smile as his hair cast a white waterfall around them "The question though" He said leaning down a little to look right in Thalions face with half lidded lavender orbs "Do you want it?" He asked lightly before kissing Thalion then pulling back.

At first he thought that Mizuki was going to pull back with how he answered what he said. Though Mizuki could have been talking about either part, the fact he said that it wasn't something he needed or that he thought he might know what Mizuki wanted. But he was quickly proven wrong about Mizuki pulling back as Mizuki managed to end up over top of him.

Admitting it Felix was right.. Mizuki did look a lot better with his hair down. Or maybe it was just this angle and the fact that he was over top of him. Probably a combination of everything but at the present time he hardly cared. Though it was a question he had to answer wasn't it? did he really need to ask that, of course he could say it was the drinks talking and they probably half were but this was still the same person he had admitted his love to not so long ago. So why wouldn't he?

"Why wouldn't I?" Came the slightly cocky response as he watched Mizuki. He could tell it was what the other wanted, that or he was poor at reading the other. Though he was pretty sure by that look that Mizuki wanted to hear that he wanted it as well. "Your still the same person that I said I loved a few days ago... did you really have to ask what I want?"

Mizuki smiled as he listened to what Thalion said. "That is true..." He said slightly "You do love me" He said before leaning down and kissing Thalion slowly before pulling back "And I love you" He said with a smirk "Though..." He said brushing his hair over his shoulder so he could reach a dark neck where he began light kisses until he spoke again "This is not helping what I need" He spoke lightly "Or want..."

With that he lightly bit a pointed ear before licking in gently. Moving down the side of Thalions jaw he kissed dark lips before pulling back "You know...I never thought this day would come" He said as his ears dipped back into his hair and he continued to speak "Still kind of cant believe this" He said lightly

He was going to say something but he lost the thought as Mizuki moved a little and started kissing his neck. One he could deal with but the fact Mizuki kept doing them, something so simple shouldn't be making him weak like this. At the same time he didn't have the thought to care if he was giving in or not.

Though Mizuki seemed to speak again before moving his attention to a different area afterwards. When the other kissed him again and pulled back he breathed out a little. It had taken everything to hold back the slight noise he almost let out. Yet at the same time he was almost sad when the other did pull back and started talking again. "Well.. going off what our gran leader says it's fate apparently." But considering the fact Thal hardly believed in such things.

Moving a hand he rested it on the side of Mizuki's face. "Are you worrying about it now? We're together now aren't we?" Even if it took over a hundred years to get the two back together. "Nothing is going to change that." He wanted to believe that himself but there was a number of things that could take away what they had right now.

"Yes...yes we are" Mizuki said with a smile before kissing Thalion again before pulling away a little "I love you Thalion...." He said with a smile his lips brushing the darker ones under his as he spoke "And I will forever..." He said kissing again "And ever" He said planting another kiss. That was how the night went. Slow and loving nothing rushed or nothing worried about. It was simple and relaxing.

The next morning Mizuki groaned as he moved and his head head into Thalions neck. They were both on their sides but Mizuki layed down more on the bed to tuck in and under Thalions chin. Thalion had his arms around him with his head resting on Mizukis.

Okay he would never drink again. He thought to himself as he cracked his neck moving up. Yep never again. Sighing he moved and got out of the bed. Moments letter he returned though with his hair braided and a cup of water. Yep his head was killing him. Looking over to his side he smiled as he watched Thalion sleep.

Mizuki was still shocked over the events of the night before but he was happy none the less. He half thought if Thalion would be happy as well when he awoke. Some little fear in the back of his mind told him that Thalion would regret it. At that thought his ears dipped back and his head hung a little.

The main reason he had stopped drinking as often was because he pretty much would sleep through anything until he woke up on his own. Even Mizuki getting out of bed he never moved. Probably a good thing nothing serious happened because he was more or less dead to the world. Though that was going to come to a end really soon as something dawned on him as to what Felix said last night.

Opening his eyes a little he half looked like he wanted to punch someone and in truth he did. "I'm going to hurt him..." He sighed a little before moving to sit up closing his eyes again due to the light compared to what it was last night. Downside to drinking .. light sensitivity increased..

Rubbing his head a little he finally noticed Mizuki who seemed a bit confused as to what he meant by what he said. "I can't believe I let him get away with that... " His ears went back a little before he explained what the hell he was babbling about. "He called me a woman." He was referring to Felix's comment of the male drows being submissive.

Mizuki smiled "He did hey" He said lightly before passing the glass of water over to Thalion. After that Mizuki sat there with his head dipped thinking about everything that had taken place "Hey...Thalion" He asked not looking up from his folded hands in his lap "Do..." He paused for a moment. Mizukmi was not sure if he should continue but there was something on his mind that he needed an answer to.

"Do you regret what has happened?" He asked lightly before turning to look at Thalion. "I mean...we were drunk and everything" He said "I...just want to know if you regret it" He said slightly before looking back down at his hands "I mean I dont....it was one of the best moments of my life" He said with a s smile "Would make it better if the fear I had was gone" Mizuki said slightly

Only Thal would wake up and his first thought being that he was insulted the night before. Though h sighed a little as Mizuki agreed with him. That was probably pay back for all the times he had gotten the poor human when he got smashed after two or three drinks when he was younger.

He was looking at the glass for a moment as he continued to wake up. Though after Mizuki seemed to start talking. He glanced at him as he waited for him to finish asking what he was trying to say. At first he wasn't sure what he was saying. Though when the other finally got it out Thal noticed he seemed to actually be worried about it.

Though the moment he mentioned the drunk part Thal had to laugh a little. "No you were past drunk... but no I don't regret it. Even whatever was said last night..." He shook his head a little before sitting the water down and moving to pull Mizuki back so he was laying on the bed again. "So stop worrying already." He said before kissing the other.

Mizuki let himself be pulled down and smiled as he was kissed "Very well...I would hate to have to kick your ass" He said with a smile before leaning up and kissing him again before moving away. Sitting up he got up and walked over to a shelf that had his herbs on it and collecting some he went about to make a tea "I know the perfect tea to make it so we wont feel anything of this blasted hangover" He said witha groan rubbing his head.

After a moment or two he had the herbs boiling in a kettle over a fire off to the side. Walking back over he paused for a moment. Not paying attention to what he was doing he didnt notice Thalion get up and starting on things that needed to be done. Now he watched as the male began to get dressed. After the pants were placed on Mizuki pouted "And here I was liking the view" He said before walking over.

Rapping his arms around the males waist he moved closer smiling softly into a dark face "I could get used to this...waking beside you every morning" He said with a smile before leaning down and kissing Thalion on the lips soft and slow before he moved back a little "Seems like a perfect life to me" He said softly.

When Mizuki mentioned he had something for hangovers Thal laughed a little before shaking his head. "Well some advice.. don't go drinking with dwarfs. I think you and Felix both would be dead by morning." Wasn't that the truth.. if they thought they had hangovers from that cheap stuff. Not that he wasn't going to say he didn't have a headache but it wasn't nothing compared to ones he had in the past.

After Mizuki left to fix the mixture Thal thought it was a good idea to get dressed. They still had work to do and with Felix recovering from last night it was probably going to be a long day. Though he was going to get the human back for that comment he made the night before. As soon as he got his pants on he heard the comment from Mizuki as he glanced at him. "Well as much as I'd love to stand here all day..." Though in truth Thal hated not even having a shirt on, for whatever reason. Probably something to do with his past that he never told anyone.

It was about that time Mizuki walked over to him wrapping his arms around him. "Perfect.. save the fact we're in a tent on the edge of the battlefield." Let alone closer to his hometown than he ever wanted to be even if it was a few days off. "Maybe after things are settled here we'll get some time to ourselves." A thought he didn't see happening for whatever reason but it was a nice thought.

The thought of peace was short lived as someone outside the tent said that there was a message for Thal. He sighed before kissing Mizuki and moving to grab the rest of his clothes. "And thus the work of babysitter is never done." He couldn't help but laugh a little, thats how he looked at it at least.

"Hmmm time to our selves....that sounds so nice" He said with a smile "Though I doubt that would happen until all of this ends" Mizuki said with a nod of head. Giving another kiss he pulled back and walked back over to his tea that was ready. Taking a cup he poured some before moving over to the table that had maps of the cave layout.

It was an old map one from the king himself. Mizuki was tempted to fallow it to make sure any way into the cave was protected. Though with the map being as old as it was Mizuki didnt know if half of the tunnels could be accessed. Sighing he took a sip of his tea.

Just as he placed the cup down to turn and talk to Thalion there was a voice at the door "Come in" He said not looking up from his map until he heard a groan. Looking up he looked right at Felix "Well well...hangover?" He asked and got a grunt from the male before he flopped into a chair.

Mizuki laughed "I would take that as a yes" He said before standing and walking over to the tea that was still hot. Taking another cup he filled it before walking over and placing it infront of Felix "Drink that and dont complain about the taste if you want that hangover gone" He said with a smirk before looking over to Thalion who finally joined them.

Thal could have guessed Felix would have shown up sooner or later. He chuckled a little seeing as Felix was complaining that they were loud. "Tempting sometime to switch out that cheap stuff you get for something real." Felix glared at him a little before Mizuki told him not to complain of the taste.

He noticed the smirk from Mizuki before he shrugged. "Don't look at me, I'm not the one complaining." Though if he really did switch out what Felix normally drank the poor guy might pass out after one, probably less than that.

The taste was only half of it seeing as the smell could drive someone away from drinking it. Though at the same time Felix had little choice seeing as there was work to be done and being the state he was in there was no way he was going to be useful. Though after nearly gagging he could admit it did help though there had to be a way to make it taste remotely better.

After a moment Felix managed to recover himself before saying what he really had come here for. "Oh.. right that message. For starters the commanders here." That directed at Thal as he seemed to sigh a little. "I can only imagine why." Thal said having a good idea as to why. "Also that pretty dragonkin that is normally around you is here." He meant Luna, she probably tagged along with the dwarf to find Mizuki.

Mizuki looked to Felix at that. Luna was here...that was interesting he thought to himself before he nodded. Finishing the last of his tea he stood and putting his cloak over his shoulders he grabbed his staff. "Well then...seems the day begins" He said to really no one as he moved to leave.

Walking past Thalion he wanted to smile and lean over to kiss the male but after the night before he was not sure if that was the greatest thing for Felix at the moment. So instead as he walked by he brushed pail fingers along a dark arm with a smile as he walked past and left the tent.

It did not take him long before he found the dragonkin and when he did he had arms around him before he could speak "Oh god" She said "I swear if you leave me alone in a palace with a bunch of morons again I will kill you" She said stepping back with a smile "Didnt enjoy your time away I see" He said "Not when I get reports of a cave in then an attack!" She growled "You should of let me come...missing all the fun" She said crossing her arms with a sigh.

Mizuki laughed a little "Oh yes...getting covered in rocks, fighting a pissed off nesting female dragon then getting attacked in a matter of what...3 days was it" He said being cocky "Yes three days...if you want to call that fun your crazier then I thought" He said with a smirk and she growled but smiled none the less.

After Mizuki left Felix stood and sighed saying that might as well get started. Though not before Thal punched his arm. "Be happy I didn't catch that comment last night." Felix had to think a moment before laughing. "Took you that long?" "Do it again see what happens." Felix smirked a little but got the hint.

After Felix left Thal walked out in search of the one Felix spoke of. Though he ran across him soon enough. "Commander-" Thal started before the dwarf stopped him. "Did you forget ye were promoted already? "Force promotion... thats nearly gotten me killed twice." The dwarf shook his head a little. "I heard, I also know somethin else that ye may be forgetting about."

Mizuki sighed as he spoke with Luna "I know but in all reality what could of been done?" He said with a shrug of his shoulders "I was lucky that Thalion was there with his rune otherwise im sure I would be dead right now" He said with a little laugh before he heard a huff "Yes so its offical...im not leaving your side again" She said with a nod of her head as she crossed her arms over her chest.

Mizuki looked at her "Oh come now a cave in could of happened to anyone" He said with a nod of his head though it seemed to him that she was not buying it. That was how the day went. Mizuki talking with Luna as she fallowed him around to everything that he did. It was good to have her around again.

It was not until later that Mizuki actually had a chance to sit down. He was now back in the large tent with Luna looking over the cave papers. Mizuki did not want to try going through them alone so he figured a dragon was great to take with him. Not only that but he was almost sure that Thalionw wouldnt let him go it alone either.

"No no no I dont care what you say" He said to her in a growl "The smartest way to get to each of these openings is by taking the east passage" He said looking to Luna "Its the shortest and smartest way" Mizuki said with a growl but sighed as she began to talk again "No I say the south chambers are the best bet. Travel along the edge of the caves and check them not right through the freaken thing!" She growled raising her voice.

Thal had his own issues to deal with and one of them was avoiding the dwarf bringing up something he had hardly forgotten about. Though it was the main topic that Baalrock seemed to keep prying at. Either way he had things to take care of and he was making sure that no one was slacking off if there was something they could be busying themselves with.

Truth be told of it all Baal was there to talk about what the King had said. There were more than enough rumors going around how the stories weren't true or that it was a fools quest among other things. But seeing as he was there and he knew of Thal's slight problem he figured he might remind the quick tempered drow that he needed to watch himself, that or figure out some new means of binding his magic.

After a while they ended up back near the tent that him and Mizuki ha been sleeping in. Though they never entered, instead it turned into a bit of a heated talk outside of it. "I know that.. ok" Thal sighed finally wishing he wasn't reminded. "I know it broke, but that happened not even a week ago." "Aye and it was weakening before that. Yer playing at a dangerous game here elf. Runes and tonics aren't gonna solve the problem forever." Thal knew that too but he needed time to figure out what would solve it. If it was solvable even. Hell if he knew, he had questioned Felix about it seeing as he did a lot of reading but there was next to no information on what he was asking.

Personally the last thing he wanted was for Mizuki to over hear this. Sure it could be explained but it was nothing the other wanted to hear. Baal only knew of it because well.. after a hundred some years it was hard not to know. It wasn't like it was putting anyone in danger at the present time, though from his experiences it could in the future if just let go. Plus using binding magic often enough reacted badly against any natural magic someone might have. Not like he went into templar training with the intent of killing himself. No at the time he had no signs at all of magic. Though in more recent years it seemed to enjoy making itself known.

Mizuki sighed "look I dont care what you say" He said with a smile "We are taking this way and your going to deal with it and thats that" He said with a nod before standing. "You cant do that every time!" Luna growled and Mizuki smiled "Wanna bet?" He asked though he already knew the answer "Yeah yeah" She said waving her hand and started mumbling about stupid elfs and death wishes.

Shaking his head Mizuki stood there for a moment before he heard footsteps come up to the tent but that is where they stopped. Twitching ears moves to pick up the conversation that seemed to be brewing between who ever walked up. Though the voices told him exactly who was there.

Listening Mizukis brow creased. "I know it broke, but that happened not even a week ago." "Aye and it was weakening before that. Yer playing at a dangerous game here elf. Runes and tonics aren't gonna solve the problem forever." What problem was it the male had? Mizuki knew that the only reason some one would willingly take toxins and use runes was if they were binding magic...

Mizuki thought for a moment. Was that why Thalion didnt or rather couldnt use magic. Mizuki also knew that constant use of these things together could do more damage then good if used over a large amount of time. Why wouldnt Thalion mention something of this? I mean it was something that Mizuki maybe able to help but the meer fact that he knew nothing of this made his blood boil and he grew angry.

Walking over he grabbed his staff and cloak as well as a bag. Putting the cloak on he gave Luna the beg "Lets go and do this then" He said briskly before walking to the entrance of the tent and leaving. Just as he did he stopped infront of Thalion and the dwarf "Next time you feel like keeping something to your self..." Mizuki began before looking to Thalion with a glare "Make sure its none life threatening" He said before turning and walking away.

Luna stood there for a moment looking at the three of them and the fastly retreating back of Mizuki. Stopping Thalion as the male turned to go after him she shook her head "You may have knowen master Mizuki longer then me but trust me when I tell you if you fallow him it will make matters worse" She said letting go of his arm before fallowing after Mizuki silently as she ignored the curses of Thalion behind her.

He wasn't thinking that Mizuki was going to be in the tent, it was early into the afternoon still. Normally he was too busy to bother being here. Of course the one time he was counting on that and it wasn't true. Thal was just about to tell the dwarf it wasn't going to be a permanent fix he knew that but it needed to be a fix until this matter here was settled. But he never got the chance to as Mizuki walked outside.

About the time he opened his mouth he noticed Mizuki and the expression on the others face. Crap was the first thought that came to mind. Though Mizuki's words said it all as he spoke before walking off. He wasn't going to keep it to himself forever but at the moment they had enough to deal with without adding to it.

Though when Luna stopped him he glared at her as she spoke. "Like hell I'm letting him just walk off pissed either." He said before pulling free of her and going after the other anyway. He couldn't... even if Mizuki was ticked, he couldn't just let him walk off like this.. not again. The last time it had taken a hundred some years to repair leaving well enough alone.

He followed the other for a while, at this point they were rather deep down one of the tunnels. Though Mizuki's pace said he wasn't going to stop. "Mizuki." He figured it was worth a shot but soon gave up on it. "Damn it would you just stop and listen to me?!" Like they needed to be out here when there was a chance of the enemy being out here with scouts, among a number of other things but still.

He needed to explain things to Mizuki before he let the thoughts sit for too long with the other. He was going to tell Mizuki, but after this. When things were settled a little. It's not like there had been too many side effects so far because of it. He knew the dangers he had looked well into it before even trying something as he did.

Mizuki ignored the male as he walked. No he didnt want to talk to him and get an answer that he may not like. No instead it was easier to walk away and calm down before emotions got the best of him and he did something that he wouldnt like later. This was his plan but it seemed that the plan would be foiled as he heard his name behind him "Mizuki" Nope. He was not stopping. He needed to get away and he needed to do something.

This was going to be what he was going to do but the moment Thalion spoke again he stopped and turned. Mizuki glared at Thalion "What...what is there to listen to?" He asked lightly "once again I find you keeping something from me and something that could claim your life no less" He said "When were you going to tell me Thalion?" He asked as he tilted his head "What...a day from now...a week....another 95 years" He hissed out.

Mizuki dipped his head down as his ears bent back "Again you dont tell me....what...is it that you dont trust me? Or is it that you dont think I could handle it?" He said looking back up with a tilt of his head. Though when Thalion went to speak he cut him off "You have no idea what I can handle" He said "What dark secrets I keep locked away in the back of mind" He said lightly "And you couldnt even tell me that something may one day take the life of the man I love and all because he was to stubborn to explain maybe ask for help" Mizuki said with a glare.

He figured that Mizuki wasn't going to stop but when the other did he knew he was going to get it. Though for the moment he let Mizuki say what he felt like he needed to. Though it seemed like Mizuki wasn't going to stop when he did try to explain things. It was about than that Thal finally decided to say what he needed to say.

"There's plenty to explain. But like it or not there isn't a fix for it. I figured it might go away hell if I know why all of a sudden one day I can use magic that I was suppose to have my whole life. I can't use the binding runes and have magic, it doesn't work that way. Templars are not suppose to have magic and as far as any test results go I don't have any." He breathed out a little knowing Mizuki was probably too ticked to honestly care.

"As far as it taking my life I wasn't going to carry things along that far. If you must know my plan was to keep it bound until after this little quest we were sent on. I can't use the magic so its useless to me in a fight anyway." He should have probably stopped there but he didn't. "It had nothing to do with if you could handle it or not, it's not something that is normal in fact all of the books and scrolls i've been through say its impossible. But hell I know you your still going to be mad no matter what reason I give." On the note there was a lot of things Mizuki didn't know about Thal's past, though no one knew those things maybe save Verdia.

Mizuki sighed at that as he dipped his head. It was true though everything that Thalion was saying. "Its true that its not fixable but bindable yes and by the sounds of it your seal is weakening and fast" Mizuki said "What...you didnt think to ask maybe I could do the seal better?" He asked with a tilt of his head "Or that I maybe able to train you so you didnt have to bind it?" He asked slightly "No the only thing that crossed your mind was what you felt you had to do" He said with a shrug.

"I mean why on earth would you tell me" He said with a shrug of his shoulders. "I mean it took you long enough to tell me you were joining the guard and even then it was not you" He said with a shake of his head "Both times I find out from other things but from you" Mizuki said with a little laugh. "Is...this all a game to you?" He said lightly "Do you intent to get me close then shove me aside as some personal gain?" He said in a hurt and angry voice "I knew it was all to good to be true."

He saw that being brought up again, he could have seen that from a hundred miles. Why couldn't Mizuki bring up the thing that happened so many years ago. It was probably true, Mizuki probably did know how to bind the magic better or he could train in it. But the thought went against everything he had been doing over all of these years. Besides the very ability he was binding was the reason he ran from home in the first damn place. He wasn't about to just accept it because now it decided to show itself.

Though Mizuki's next words hurt more than anything, though seeing as Thal had a quick temper it was more of a mix of emotions. "Yeah thats exactly it Mizuki. I have some personal gain from shoving you away." He shook his head a little. "Maybe your right it was too good to be true. Here's a thought I'll come seek you out again once I figure out a way to fix it. Or maybe better for you it'll kill me in the process." He shrugged a little, he knew his temper was causing this sudden change in tone but he didn't care at the moment.

With that he didn't even give Mizuki the chance to say anything as he moved and walked past him. He could go quite a ways in these tunnels only a few had been effected by the cave in days ago. Aside from that he didn't need light to travel with either. But he knew returning to camp for the moment wasn't a good idea not till he calmed down again and he didn't feel like listening to what Mizuki had to say. He needed to calm down though he felt the same effect from when he had fought Sanders and that wasn't a good thing.

How dare he! After everything that has happened he was not supposed to agree with his words. No he was supposed to fight and argue. Growling Mizuki watched as Thalion began to walk past him. Yeah if Thal thought he was getting away this easy he was wrong. Mizuki stood there before growling.

Walking over with fast and brisk steps he grabbed the male and turned him around and before Thalion had something to say he pushed him into the wall with a growl "So its true...after all of these years and the words you said" Mizuki said with a growl before casting a fast spell and with added force he punched the wall beside Thalions face.

"How did I know that you could never love me" He hissed in a dark face before he ripped his hand out of the whole he made beside the males head. Turning he ignored the sound of cracking rock. He was a fool to think Thalion could love him. Such a fool. Mizuki shook his head with a little laugh "Even though the Thalion I thought I knew...wouldnt say something without it having meaning..." He said in a growl.

He was half expecting Mizuki to stop him but at the same time not. Or at least not with the force that he did as he was forced against the closest wall. A few of his senses were knocked back into him from just hitting the wall though he didn't have much time to think on it as he debated his actions seeing the spell cast.

His instinct told him to block or cancel the spell at the least but he didn't move. If Mizuki had actually hit him Thal knew he deserved it in a way. Though when the blow never landed his ears went back a little listening to Mizuki. Maybe Luna was right, going after him was a mistake. Normally he didn't say things he didn't mean but for the moment he was torn between having control of his thoughts and the other being that he just wanted to keep what anger he had at the moment.

Though the cracking of rocks caught his attention more than anything. It was not a sound he enjoyed hearing for whatever reason. But Mizuki seemed to be ignoring it as some of the pops got louder and a few mid sized rocks fell from the low ceiling. Sure there was noise behind him but he was more worried about the over head part of it.

Well now he had no choice even if Mizuki was pissed at him he couldn't stand there and let what he saw about to happen. Half tackling Mizuki he barely got them both from where a rather large boulder landed. Though it was about that time the few remaining rocks from where Mizuki had punched the wall fell.

The opening seemed to be carved out oddly enough, smooth looking and a odd glow seemed to be deep within it. Great was Thal's first thought what hell did they just release now, with their luck it would be just that. Though honestly they were both unscathed for the most part so he hardly cared. Mizuki could punch him or whatever at this rate.

Mizuki gasped as he felt strong around around his waist and the force driving them both to the ground. "What on earth is-" Though he stopped the moment he saw the larger boulder fall where he was just standing. "Well...if you didnt love me...why save me?" He asked not moving from where he was on the ground with Thalion still on top of him holding him down.

Mizuki didnt give Thalion a moment to comment back. No instead he removed the male from over him before standing "I dont know what your playing at but-" That was where his words died as he looked ahead of them. There where the wall used to be was now a large whole but that was not what Mizuki was gaping at.

No it was the fact that the wall was gone and it showed a perfectly carved out tunnel beyond it leading and winding but Mizuki could see the faintest of glows at the end. Please do not tell me we unleashed another monster Mizuki thought as he looked down to Thalion. "Im still mad at you" He said with a glare "But I know better then to go in there alone" He said before walking over towards cave tunnel.

Because I can't have a idiot dying on my conscious, why did he think? Thal would have given him the smart ass remark as a answer but he didn't get a chance to as Mizuki forced him off and right away was accusing him. He wasn't getting at anything, though there was no telling Mizuki that at the present time.

Though Mizuki's statement seemed to die as he looked towards the wall that use to be there. Glancing towards it Thal was already rather sure of what the other was thinking. He already didn't like it. Though he also figured where Mizuki was still very much so pissed he was just going to blindly walk into the new opening.

Though oddly enough Mizuki seemed to not do that, stating he was still mad but he knew better than to go in alone. Thal shook his head a little before getting up and following the other. Honestly he didn't like the vibe he got from this place at all, whatever was in here felt old. It was hard to describe the exact feeling but whatever was in here had been so for who knows how long. Not to mention someone had gone through some lengths to hide this entrance.

His ears went back a little not expecting any answers from Mizuki but he figured he'd try talking anyway. "The saying curiosity killed the cat mean anything to you?" He was all for exploring but this was different, this had trouble plastered on it let alone who knew what was even in here. The glow could be a creature or anything. Maybe now would be a bad time to mention he can't use any shielding abilities while his magic wasn't bounded. Heres hoping they didn't encounter anymore cave ins.

Mizuki looked to Thalion "Yes thats true" He said pausing his foot steps. Thinking for a moment he looked to Thalion "You cant honestly tell me that you dont want to know whats down there" He said to him and when Thalion started to protest Mizuki continued "Think about it Thalion" He began "If it was a beast we would have seen it from the noise of that wall falling" He said "The noise would have alerted it" He said with a nod.

Mizuki stood there thinking "And judging from that glow its a torch thats making that glow but a torch to be lit in a tunnel thats been hidden for so long..." Mizuki shook his head "It dose not seem right" He said "Something is fishy down there and I am going to find out what it is" He said with a nod of his head.

This was when Mizuki turned and began walking once more down the dark tunnel but he stopped for a moment. Turning he looked to Thalion "And if you love me...you will do this with me" He said with a smile before turning and starting his walking once more. Something was pulling at Mizuki and he needed to see what was there.

"No I honestly can say I am not. I learned my lesson years ago that exploring caverns is generally a bad idea." Trouble was something he had his fair share of, ok so a few of the beatings he probably did bring upon himself but still. "Yeah.. have you ever heard of silent hunters?." He complained a little. "There are a number of things that I can name off that could be down here and none of them I want to meet personally." It was more of the uneasy feeling that was making him complain.

"Yes yes.. magical torch..got it. Now that mystery is solved can we leave before something bad happens?" He wasn't being timid, but there was something about this place he couldn't put his finger on that just had him very unsettled. Curiosity was not over powering that feeling in the least.

Though as Mizuki kept walking and paused to speak Thal's ears went back a little. That wasn't fair. "Thought we declared that I didn't?" Of course he knew that was a lie, but at the time Mizuki seemed sure of it. None the less he kept following the other, if anything to save his ass once more if there was something down this tunnel. Though at the present time he was too busy going over tunnels and passageways that could lead to here to explain why there was light at all. Though he didn't remember anything having that sort of glow like the one they were headed to.

There were beasts known to lure their pray in with lights or smells. Though he wasn't sure if there were any in caves. he never recalled hearing about any but that hardly meant anything. Ok maybe he was over worrying for nothing now.

At Thalions comment Mizuki shrugged "So if you dont then stay behind" Hesaid with a shrug as he continued to walk. Mizuki wanted to, no he needed to know what was down there even if that meant that he had to do it alone. Rounding the corner Mizuki stopped. He was right that the glow was from torches but it was magic fire that kept them burning. This though was not the thing that made Mizuki stop.

There was a door carved into the stone. Trees dying over a battle field of dead men, but there before the door was a hunched figure in a black cloak. Holding a staff and leaning on it nothing was seen but a pale hand and a long white beard. Waiting for Thalion Mizuki looked to him "I am seeing that right" He said "Right?" He asked looking back towards the male.

Of course he was going to follow Mizuki. He'd never live with himself if he left and something did happen no matter what the other thought was or was not down here. Besides he already knew too well the ability Mizuki seemed to have to draw trouble to himself without meaning to.

Mizuki seemed to stop and question what he was looking at before asking Thal. "Depends on what your seeing... though mystery solved of whats in here can we go now?" Ok he had to admit he was curious now as to why the hell something like this was down here, let alone what it was... the strange figure wasn't helping matters any.

Mizuki shook his head "No...I got to see what is behind that door" Walking forward he was stopped by the old man. "Blood so thick must first come fourth and show its true nature if you wish to enter" The male said in a voice that sounded with age. Mizuki hummed "Well...what must I do?" He asked though something told him he was going to regret this.

This was the moment that the male looked up for the first time. With his mouth opened it looked like he was going to speak but the words died on his lips as he looked at the two before him 'Never in all my long years did I expect to see you here" He said slowly gazing at them with pale blue eyes. This made Mizuki look at him "You know us?" He asked lightly.

The male shook his head "No...not you" He said lightly "But past lives of you yes" He spoke with a smile "At least...im sure its you" He said "Never have I seen such a likeness" The male said with a smile "So...to pass you must show your blood line" He said with a nod of his head.

Mizuki stopped "What is on the other side?" He asked looking to Thalion before looking back towards the male. This caused a chuckle to come from old lips "Something to vanish the ever approaching darkness" He said with a suddenly stern face. This right there made Mizuki look right at him "What...did you say?" He asked and the male continued "Show me your worth and aid is what I give in return"

Thal sighed a little knowing that Mizuki was going to say exactly that. He always was the reason he got dragged into more trouble than he probably normally would have gotten into. Had to be a mage thing. Sure he was curious about all of this but the markings on the door gave him a bad feeling and he couldn't shake it in the least.

Though Thal's attention was pulled from the text on the door as the old man spoke. Mizuki questioned if he knew them and the answer was not what Thal wanted to hear. "So... why are we trying to pass through a door talking about the end of the world?" He said making a slight gesture towards one of the sections with writing on it. He couldn't make it all out but in some form or another it was talking about doomsday.

Though it seemed Mizuki was dead set on seeing what was behind the doors. There was probably no wavering him at this point. "In case you forgot we're on the edge of a battlefield.. and your standing here trying to follow riddles." This spelled bad idea a few times over. What was the old man blabbering about anyway.. blood line and worth. what the hell was that suppose to mean.

Though it was about that time something settled in his mind. Oh great someone else talking of darkness. He was about sick of everyone putting so much stock in some old saying that probably wasn't true.

Mizuki looked to Thalion as he spoke about the end of the world. Looking around the door Mizuki saw the old writing that was there. It was an old kind of elvish. One that has been lost to many an elf but some families still kept it alive by teaching younger generations its words. Thalion seemed to be one of the lucky ones.

Shaking his head Mizuki sighed "What harm can it do?" He asked with a shrug as he was about to advance when Thalion spoke again. "Yes we are on the edge of a battle field and this man is offering help and still you refuse to take it." He said with a little laugh "You can but I am not" With that Mizuki took a step up to the male before him.

"What is it that I have to do?" He asked with a tilt of his head though the response he got was not one he wanted "No its not you its the both of you" The older male said looking up finally from his cloak. Pale skin and long ears hung with age as the male spoke "To travel as two you must work as one" He said with a nod of his head.

Looking to Mizuki he smiled "You must show your magical ability" The male said before turning to Thalion "And you must proove the days of old are not dead" The male said with a nod of his head and Mizuki frowned "Magical ability...that could be anything at all...." He said with a huff crossing his arms to think "What exactly do you wish to see?" He asked looking at the older male getting a little laugh "I can not tell you because then its not a test" He said and Mizuki sighed.

Thal would to call knowing how to read this stuff lucky by a long shot. It was half of the reason he had run from home in the first place and now it was coming back to haunt him. If he ever saw his old man again he'd clock him one for the simple sake of him being right in saying that it would be useful to him in the future. He hated with he was right... any other person in the world could say the same thing and he'd shrug them off being right. But that man was not allowed to be right about anything.

When Mizuki spoke about what harm could it do Thal's ears went back a little. "Lots... but that's not going to change your mind." He said sighing a little knowing that Mizuki had his mind already set on this. Nope this was his doomed fate to find out whatever that had been locked down here for lord knows how long. "Help I welcome... the payment required for said help is whats worrying me." He wouldn't refuse help but what even told Mizuki this old man was helping them. He had heard enough stories of wizards or other beings luring idiots into traps or to get mortals to do their dirty work that they themselves cannot. Maybe Mizuki missed that history lesson.

His concerns on the matter hardly lessened when the man spoke that it was both of them. Great... was there something in the water here that made everyone think that there was for some reason something special about the two of them? Hell he was a run away from home and last he knew Mizuki had no idea of his parents. Hardly did that seem 'hero' material. Also for him to say earlier they looked like ones he knew or past lives. That must have been some great time ago indeed, last he recalled there was nothing in history about a wood elf and a drow.. like anywhere.

'prove the days of old are not dead'? What was that suppose to mean? Ok sure he could read the text, if he stood there a few moments he could probably jog his memory enough to read the whole phrase, let alone in the actual language it was written in. But there was no way he was about to just willingly do that. Though something told him Mizuki was going to get him to do just that wasn't he... "Test.. right. Though the ways of old are hardly dead. If they were maybe my kind might not hate the opposite gender nearly as much." He had a bit of a smirk at the thought, right THAT would never change. Out of the elven kind the Drow were pretty stuck in their ways that was certain. He found out just how much so when he ran away.

Mizuki sighed some but then couldnt help the laugh that left his lips as Thalion spoke. Yes it was true that females ruled over males in drow lives. So the comment made was funny to him. Mizuki thought for a moment before he looked to Thalion "You need to read that text" He said to him "Out loud if you would....I think I know how to get through this door" He said with a nod of his head.

"I have the perfect spell in mind" He said "I...just need you to read that text" He said with a smile. Mizuki knew that this was a long shot because Thalion didnt even want to be this far in the first place. Now Mizuki was trying to get him to read some ancient text predicting the end of the world. Or so Thalion says.

Mizuki stood there and looked at Thalion. He had a hard look on his face like he was tied between something. "Please...help me do this" He said. Mizuki knew that Thalion was a sucker for words though he had this feeling that he would not give in this easy. At that thought Mizuki grew a little angry. This was when the thought of placing a spell on the male came to mind.

The glare he got at being told he needed to read the text probably told Mizuki plenty. He knew that was what the old man was expecting but it was the last thing he wanted to do to say the least. Read aloud he says... Though honestly he was still going over some of the words to even read what they were let alone aloud.

Normally Thal would give in to Mizuki but he just had a bad feeling about this door. This was a bit unfair in truth. Mizuki was already pissed so if he declined than it would make matters worse. But in all honestly he really didn't want to open the door or have any chance of doing so. Though maybe he could tell sort of a fib but not really. Well it was true he was still reading a few of the words trying to figure them out in his head... that didn't mean he had to tell Mizuki that he could read most of them.

"And if I told you i cant read it? I can't even make out half of them let alone the whole phrase." Though Mizuki seemed to have something else in his mind seeing the look on his face. Why did something tell him that Mizuki was going to get what he wanted in some way or another. Though it wasn't like he really lied, he couldn't make out a few of them just off the top of his head. It had been quite a few years when he last had to read this stuff.

"I mean it's been over 150 years when I last had to use this stuff.." Ok so given a few minutes he could probably figure out the few words he wasn't sure of, or fill in the blanks himself. It was more getting the correct word in this tongue. Though Mizuki looked unconvinced of this. "what you want me to read it and get it wrong.. done that before and normally there is a cost to such mistakes."

Mizuki looked at him with an eyebrow raised as Thalion said what if he couldnt read it "I would say your lying" He said with a nod of his head. Though now Thalion was silent for a moment before he spoke again "But that should make you want to open the door more should it not?" He asked with a tilt of his head. This was when Thalion spoke again. Yes it was true that there was usually had a price but Mizuki did not have a bad feeling and that was what he was sticking with.

Mizuki sighed "You wont do it will you?" he asked as he looked to Thalion and when the male said no again Mizuki decided enough was enough. Walking over to Thalion he stood in front of the male before he moved in his spell already almost cast. Leaning in he kissed the male on the lips lightly as his hand touched his chest placing the spell.

Mizuki couldnt believe what he just did as he stood back but he knew there was limited time. As Thalion struggled for a moment but began to read the text Mizuki did his next spell. Mizuki smiled as he made a small tree that went through all the seasons but with a twist in front of them. It started in spring and the buds on the tree were water. Next was summer turning the leaves green with life. Then fall took over turning the tree ablaze with fire as oranges and reds took over the tree. Finally winter and wind was the element until shadow took over killing the tree with light to finish it off with reincarnation.

It was a sight to see but it was a long spell. Just as he finished with his spell and the light faded Thalion completed the text. Mizuki knew that the male was going to be pissed the moment he came to. When being controlled the mind blacks out and the host remembers nothing but a headache. Mizuki knew that Thalion was not stupid though...the moment he would blink back to reality he would know.

Of course he didn't want to read it, he never did tell Mizuki at all about his youth. He had a number of good reasons to want to keep this door shut let alone to avoid even breathing any of the words. Yet Mizuki was also dead set on opening these doors and very rarely did Thal recall the other giving up on something that he wanted.

Mizuki was right though Thal was not stupid in the least, as soon as the other stepped close enough and kissed him he could guess what happened. Though he had no real proof of it. But he did know Mizuki didn't forgive him from earlier so that kiss was foul play. Not that he could do anything to stop it. If the seal was till active Mizuki might have found doing this trick a bit harder. But with it broken he couldn't have any of the defenses he normally kept.

After a moment when everything was said and done he winced a little before placing a hand on his head. Yep he knew what had happened. "You.. I can't believe you." H said before recovering after a moment. His ears went back as he glared at Mizuki. "Out of all the things you could do.." Seeing as his training was to counter magic he had a number of spells used on him before to teach them what to expect or what to pick up on. Though Thal was more than pissed at Mizuki at this moment. Probably if he wasn't in shock that this really just happened he would have already been trying to beat the living sense out of the other.
