That's a lot of water. Plus I'm trying to wrap my brain around a cat drinking water in a tub without falling in. :P

I guess my Pixel loves to drink out of the toilet too. Never saw him do it, but I'm trying to train hubby to leave the toilet lid down. Pixel has plenty of better water elsewhere. :P

Max must like moving water. Cute videos.

I'm so sorry, Den. Was Prince your kitty?
*offers gentle hugs and a shoulder*

Den 04-21-2016 06:06 PM

No... The singer. He died of the flu.

Fulkth 04-21-2016 08:52 PM

I heard the sad news about Prince today too!

A former co-worker of mine loved Prince. She used to brag that Prince used to go to her high school. She must be devastated.

ZenKitty 04-21-2016 10:49 PM

Wow. I hadn't heard that. Too many people are dying this year. :(

yeah. 2016 needs to stop taking awesome people.

Fulkth 04-22-2016 03:33 PM

Our cat left dirty paw prints all over the toilet seat today. XD

As for kitty food, we had to mix his expensive medical food with normal cat food. Otherwise he won't eat it otherwise.

That's too funny Fulkth!

Billy James 04-23-2016 03:45 AM

I used to live in in St. Johns MI, moved to Lansing MI and then moved to Texas. lol

Oi my one cat is so big she was big for a kitten too now she's just a giant kitty. XD

ZenKitty 04-23-2016 11:41 AM

Ah the land of the Mint Festival. Lots of farmland there.

My Presto is 18 pounds of solid cat and he's so long that when I'm sitting on the couch with my legs stretched out, his paws can go on my shoulders and his feet reach my feet.

Right now he's insisting on being on my lap, which means that he's covering my lap, partially on the couch, partially on my laptop, (which is on a table), and sprawled out on my arm. He doesn't even seem to mind the jiggling as I type. @_@

lol Longcat is loooooong.

Fulkth 04-23-2016 06:42 PM

Our cat used to weight a healthy 10 pounds, but he has gained some weight over the years. He now weighs 13 pounds. Not too bad.

Billy James 04-23-2016 08:39 PM

I'm being attacked by cats as we speak, yeah normal day for me. >w<;

Den 04-23-2016 09:53 PM

our canine houseguest is trying my patience... He's big, and powerful, and he's more than capable of pulling me off my feet if I'm not careful, which takes some doing. :/

Billy James 04-23-2016 09:58 PM

Both of my dogs were back in Michigan, one passed away last year though..
:(

I miss my dogs so much.

Den 04-24-2016 02:21 AM

Four years ago, we had a border collie. He was with us for fifteen years, and he was such a good dog. Sadly, some bad dog food made him sick, and we didn't realize that that was what was going on... and in April of 2012, in the wee smas, he died suddenly.

Since then, we've done a trial run with one other dog, but that was a few years back... and now I'm really not sure about the dog we're doing a trial run with, because he's actually strong enough to pull me off my feet, which is really worrying. I don't have the stamina or the strength to keep up with him and walk him as often as he needs, and he chases the cats.

I think I liked the idea of him... either that, or I wasn't expecting to become so stressed out that I've been using tactics I use whenever we have company over and I don't feel like socializing.

Fulkth 04-24-2016 10:31 AM

We don't have any dogs. My husband is allergic. One time he thought it was a good idea to go into a pet shop and see all the puppies. Well, he came out of the shop having difficulty breathing and got me all worried.

My aunt has a pet dog though. A scottish terrier. He barks a lot (which I don't like), but he's friendly.

For some reason she's terrified of cats though.

ZenKitty 04-24-2016 12:35 PM

So sorry about the loss of your dog, Billy.

Currently I have my big boy snuggled next to me on the couch. It's lovely.

Den 04-24-2016 05:10 PM

so now our canine houseguest is back at the shelter. He kept chasing the cats, and he nearly broke one of the kitchen doors trying to get in there... plus Mom and I kinda had a row about the responsibilities (I'd told her beforehand that I'm not going to be the sole person responsible for the dog, and she'd agreed to it, but then tried foisting all the responsibilities on to me), so hopefully, he gets to live with a family that has a nice, big farm for him to run around on.

trystan830 04-24-2016 07:22 PM

we have two kitties. i'm a cat person. not a fan of dogs.

ZenKitty 04-24-2016 09:47 PM

I like dogs, but I'm allergic to them, so I've only had kitties.

Witchchylde 04-25-2016 03:27 PM

We've just about always had both dogs and cats. Never nearly so many dogs as we have now, up until recently we've only ever had like two dogs, but right now we have eight, and only one of them isn't related to the rest. She's a Jack Russell, and getting very old, she's getting cataracts in her eyes so she's a little wary about going outside unless Mom goes out with her, I guess so she can be sure she can find her way back to the door easier. The rest of the dogs are varying degrees of Chiweenie. Papa is more Chihuahua and Momma is more Miniature Dachshund, but they both have a bit of the other already. All of their children are varying sizes, in fact Dave looks like a standard Dachshund more than anything. His brother Marley actually kind of looks like a Golden Retriever or something. With a smooth coat I mean. Bittie looks even more like a Chihuahua than her Papa, and Missy May is about halfway between Marley and Bittie, kind of looking like an Italian Greyhound, if they came in blonde. My Winnie is the littlest Chiweenie and actually looks a bit like a Puggle -- a Pug mixed with a Beagle.

Fulkth 04-25-2016 03:50 PM

lol, I love hearing stories about everyone's pets! XD

My cat's being good today. Just sleeping on the bed.

star2000shadow 04-25-2016 11:34 PM

'blinks' this was an interesting surprise.

Den 04-26-2016 03:06 PM

I'm, yet again, scrambling to get stuff together and finished for parts of a costume...

Fulkth 04-26-2016 09:46 PM

@Den

What costume are you making?

I'm making the armor pieces for this character:

I still need to track down a cane to modify, and get more foam for the shoulder pads...

Lawtan 04-27-2016 04:16 PM

Walk in a forest, find a stick, and yay to carving!

>.> Sort of what I do. If you find a sturdy one, clean it, gloss it over, and spraypaint it, it can last a good while.

I need one that's got a proper bend to it... I don't have the means to bend anything here. So it's really easier to just buy a cane and modify it.

Lawtan 04-28-2016 12:00 AM

Ah...sorry, then. I wish you luck! :)

ZenKitty 04-28-2016 08:39 AM

I'm impressed with your creativity, Den. :D

Fulkth 04-28-2016 06:51 PM

@ml1201

Omg, that's so scary looking! It looks like a snake with...3 heads. O.O

ZenKitty 04-28-2016 07:07 PM

It reminds me of a snake version of Fluffy in Harry Potter.

Fulkth 04-28-2016 07:36 PM

My memory of Fluffy in Harry Potter is kind of fuzzy.

It's been awhile since I have seen any of the Harry Potter movies.
Now that I think about it, I am not sure if I watched the last movie or not. D:
