Well...I couldn't get it done before Christmas because I had way too much present making to do. I seriously finished making family and friends presents at 8:30ish am on Christmas Eve day.
And I was trapped away from home and my yarn until late Monday. And I have had a hard time focusing on anything after that.

Sort of. Every morning they have to paint either one small or medium painting before they are allowed to eat and shower. After that, depending on the day they either have to do one more large painting or can resume with normal activities such as a job or gardening. Each room has 2 small windows, one Wire frame bed with white covers, a toilet, and an easel. Oh and one painting of a gothic fairy with a crow. The rooms are also brick on the inside with slate tiles throughout the entire house XD

Two hours later, the trucker was back on the road again and decided to check on the penguins. He showed up at the zoo and they weren't there! He headed back into his truck and started driving around the town, looking for any sign of the penguins, the man, or his car. While driving past a movie theater, the truck driver spotted the guy walking out with the ten penguins. The truck driver yelled, "What are you doing? You were supposed to take them to the zoo!" The man replied, "I did and then I had some extra money so I took them to go see a movie."

WHY DID I DO THIS TO MYSELF
I layered this so weirdly beforehand XD I did the foreground before the background so I have to be uber careful but at the same time the foreground is bright red so I have bright red splats everywhere to cover....
I will probably end up redoing this with acrylic, because I like the composition of it in general XD
