I would LOVE to play Umaru from Himouto Umaru-chan >w> that anime is pretty much dk anime form.
Outside I put on a "I'ma good girl persona" but when I'm home its like I shrink down to a chibi form and goes straight for the anime and games >:3 As for who'd I'd love to work with... Monica Rail and Laura Baily are 2 of my favorite Female English VAs.. Steve Blum, Jerry Jewel and Chuck Huber are my favorite Male English VAs Tetsuya Kakihara is my favorite Japanese VA ovo |
Monica Rial is a freaking treasure. She signed a pocky box for me once. XD Sadly I don't have it anymore because our storage unit got flooded several years back and destroyed it.
My favorite male voice actor is probably Greg Ayres. He gave me care bear bubble gum in an elevator at a con once and I was just star struck. He played one of my FAVORITE character. And of course Vic Mignogna's voice wins my heart (even if he himself didn't. He's nice enough, he just.. meh, not as memorable a presence as some of the others.) I haven't gotten to meet Hilary Haag, but I love her voice too. |

I'm not a big fan of Greg.. I love his whimpy kid voice, like in Burst Angel.. I hated him as Son Goku from Saiyuki... but loved him in drifters.. he's just one of those hit or miss types.
Monica Rial, she does a pretty good snooty princess (like in host club) but I fell in love with her acting in Burst Angel as Jo >w< like WHAT FRIGGEN TALENT! <3 Chuck Hughs was Hiei <3 loved him just for that <3 (he was also the doctor from Mushishi >w>) And Jerry Jewel, his masterful accents >w< Jin from YYH, that accent he used.. ugh <3 and then Victor from Yuri on Ice ... VKUSNO! <3 |

Haha meeting them briefly at conventions doesn't make me well connected, sadly.
I did get Vic to say one of Kougajii's lines from Saiyuki when I met him at Izumicon and made a noise unbefitting an upstanding citizen like myself. XD Nothing wrong with recognizing VA names, Den. XD I haven't actually watched any anime in over a year and I still gush over some of them. Crispin Freeman as Zelgadis was my first voice crush. |
