I know what I'd want to spend extra money on. Unfortunately, I have more pressing issues it would need to go toward. Like my several thousand dollars of debt. Or groceries.

oh i totally hear you there. there's things we want to buy.... and yet there's the things we have to spend the money on. i'd buy more books and yarn, if i could. =)

I found a copy of Meyrink's The Golem at a used book store today! That was unexpected. I had to log in into LibraryThing manually because the book is from the EU and Library of Congress, the British Library, and Amazon didn't have any records for it.

Was also looking for The King in Yellow by Chambers (found an e-copy on Project Gutenberg since it's public domain now) and anything Clive Barker. No go on either though.

No, it's an older collection of short stories by Robert W. Chambers that Lovecraft supposedly drew from. Seeing as I've read all that Lovecraft's got (as far as I know) I need to find new stuff.

I read the complete collection on my e-reader over a while. There's lots of stuff derived from his works, but that I haven't read.

I know! Long winter where I am. Alas, I spent all day being sick. Blah. I keep staring at my book that I haven't been reading. I'll be so far behind! On the plus side, I learned my e-reader will work off a wall plug so I can still use it even without the battery working so long as I have an outlet.

the moive for that book is in theaters... i didnt know it was based ona book till a bit ago lol i plan on giving it a read if i can find a copy on sale XD, i resently bougth A Wrinkle In Time, hasnt seen the moive and i bought the moive tie in one so i hope it stacks up XD

I've got Ready Player One in my stack. I remember seeing it when it first came out and thinking seriously about picking it up (it was on a staff recommended wrack at Indigo) but kept not bothering. The trailer on tv for the movie has "Take on Me" by Ah-ha and I'm suspicious that it's in there because of the "out with your best mates" meme that spread into game conventions and video game stuff.

One of my library plans is to specialize in game culture, if that's a thing I can manage. Or at least, find books about it. Death by Video Game was good. I'm hoping to dig up some others. I read parts of Reset and Replay for my paper, which I plan to edit one day.

my reward when i finish Ready Player One is to watch the movie. i'm sure i can find it online .... somewhere.... XD

Biscut as in the British term for what we Americans call cookies? If so, do you mean a specific type? Because I have had many varieties of lemon cookies.

well the box says lemon biscuit... but it's basically a cookie XD its really good.

I have yet to find a lemon cookie that I really enjoy. The lemon flavor in them is always off. Like, too artificial or too tart like they've added a sourness to them that lemon cookies really don't need.
But then I'm really picky with lemon because I love it a lot.

XD the brand that i have atm is called Dare. it's a fancy cookie/biscuit thing XD

Oh! Is that dare premium guys? The cinnamon danish ones are my favourite if I can find them.

No computer atm, which sucks, but also means more reading. Not enough patience to update by phone though. Picked up and read The Hellbound Heart, finally. Still going on The Princess Diarist and Vas, and now reading through a reviewer’s copy of Tales From Graves Grove.
