Mal Kapwn 08-23-2012 11:06 AM

The Hunger Games, I think.

Quiet Man Cometh 08-23-2012 11:19 AM

The Lorax.

Friend put is on for his son to watch. I still like the old cartoon, I think it makes the point well enough on it's own. Dr Seuss isnt' the best thing to try and make a 2 hour movie out of. Songs were catchy though.

Alpha 08-23-2012 04:35 PM

Hmmm....last movie I saw in theaters would be MIB III, but the last movie I watched was Up.

Rico 08-23-2012 05:30 PM

The raid Redemption. It was pretty good and the tagline is pretty true : 1 minutes of romance, 99 of carnage. Except it was like 40 seconds of romance.

The one thing that was odd is that the only american guy in the movie was doubled in french by the guy who does Jackie Chan's voice. No idea why, but it's feels so, soooo off and odd.

But man, the choregraphy job in this is incredible O.o That's just insane.

Also, there's a claymation animation in the bonus that does the movie in a couple minute. It hilarious how it's more gory than the movie xD

Yokuutsu 08-24-2012 12:03 AM

In theaters: The Dark Knight Rises.

On DVD: I'm watching Sweeney Todd the Demon Barber of Fleet Street right now.

Asami 08-24-2012 03:36 AM

I watched the fist of the north star movie today

Dallas 08-24-2012 09:18 AM

Last movie I saw, was the Hunger Games Watch it the 22nd... got it off of Netflix. I must say it was a little better than I thought it would be.

ZoraStar 09-03-2012 05:24 PM

the last one i saw was "paranorman" it even had a shout out to the gay community which put some parents in a strange place for a "childrens" film

Odium 09-03-2012 05:41 PM

Babe, the Sheep Pig movie... So cute. ;-; It was on TV so I was like Ah what the hell. xD

Natsunaine 09-04-2012 02:29 AM

The hunger games, it was a good movie but Naturally it did not live up to the book.

NikkoGallarado 09-04-2012 10:40 AM

That last movie I saw was Paranorman it was fun movie.

I am the manry-est of men!

Rico 09-04-2012 07:06 PM

I saw the Green Miles at 1 AM to pay my respect to the departed Micheal Clarke Duncan. Man that movie is depressing in a way T.T I love characters like John Coffey, but all the bad stuff happens to them (And they're actors ._.). His execution scene is so moving T.T and he make such distinctive expression.

Lestrade 09-11-2012 04:00 PM

Just (like 10 minutes ago) finished De-Lovely, which was only okay. It got dull in the middle and the supporting cast really could have used some fleshing out, but there were great musical numbers at least.

Last night I watched Gosford Park which was pretty much wonderful.

Umaeril 09-13-2012 11:03 AM

The Debt. It really had about 15 minutes total of good stuff, the rest was rehashed filler. It had interesting cinematography at the beginning with a washed out sort of feel to it, extra bright and real, but then it devolved into a pea green sort of shade over everything that happened in the past, and since it was all about the past that was the major color.

Alpha 09-25-2012 10:24 AM

Let's see.....have to be Resident Evil: Retribution. Not a bad movie, but makes me hesitant to see any future movies in the series.

Lestrade 09-25-2012 04:41 PM

Last night watched The Madness of King George, which is a historical drama about King George III of England's struggle with mental illness. Part hilarious and part heartbreaking but 100% enthralling.

Also, Rupert Graves looking adorable is always a plus >.>

Rico 09-28-2012 11:59 PM

The extended Lord of the Ring trilogy. GOD WHY DID I DO THAT. Also, still trying to figure out what was added in ._. And OMG what's up with the 20 minutes credits O.o damn what the hell.

Ritsuka 09-29-2012 11:03 PM

I think the last movie I actually watched was Skyline. I saw it a loooong time ago, but my friends wanted to watch it on Netflix. XD

xZombie Queen 09-30-2012 08:57 PM

Humans vs. Zombies. (Such an awesome movie. XD)

Pathosis 09-30-2012 10:39 PM

Nell.

But in the last 24 hours, I've seen The Uninvited, Meet the Robinsons, Ponyo, Spice World, and Eat, Pray, Love.
Yep.

Quiet Man Cometh 10-01-2012 06:36 AM

Let's see... The Sign of Four with Jeremy Brett as Sherlock Holmes. That was about a week ago. Not big on movies these days.

Ginger 10-02-2012 04:32 AM

The last movie I saw in the theater was Resident Evil: Retribution.

Recently it was Forrest Gump <3

Natsunaine 10-02-2012 08:25 AM

X-men Origins i believe

Rico 10-05-2012 06:57 AM

I just watched Eurotrip, and I still don't know why they translated Oui (yes) into ''Let's make out''. WTF? I mean anyone could tell that's obviously not what they said.

Poggio 10-05-2012 12:30 PM

The last movie I watched was Mirror Mirror and then something called Lo. Lo was cool a low budget movie about a demon that can be found on Netflix.

So Mirror Mirror sucked. The only cool part were they dwarves that were cleverly made.

shay_almost 10-08-2012 08:01 PM

I just watched The Avengers last night. It was pretty awesome!

Scintilla 10-08-2012 10:13 PM

Tilly watched Hotel Transylvania last night~ C:

I liked it!

Lestrade 10-09-2012 04:30 PM

Can we count 80-minute episodes of Masterpiece Mystery as movies?

Inspector Lewis is awesome, just discovered it on Netflix and watched episode 3 last night, heh.

Quiet Man Cometh 10-12-2012 01:23 AM

Oh! I like Lewis. Never watched Morse much but I like Lewish and Hathaway. There's a good one that involves the club where Tolkein and C.S.Lewis used to meet to talk about writing. (Pretty sure it was C.S.Lewis). Tried to find it at the library today but no luck. Someone else had it. Came home with Midsomer Murders and A&E Mysteries instead. ;)

My latest movie would be A&E's Marple: A Caribbean Mystery.

Psychosis 10-12-2012 02:21 AM

I just finished watching Hotel Transylvania.
It was so good!

Mika 10-12-2012 03:47 AM

I rewatched Nick and Norah's Infinite Play List the other night.

SoulOfThyKnyte 10-12-2012 11:07 AM

I saw that one. I'm actually almost done with what Netflix has (the first 3 seasons), and I put season 4 on hold at my library, heh. I have a bit of a crush on Hathaway, I'll admit XD But he and Lewis complement each other so well. And they're fairly normal too, which is a bit refreshing and not really very usual for a series like this. I also appreciate the lack of gore XD I love murder mysteries but I can't really watch CSI and the like because I have such a low gore tolerance...

Quiet Man Cometh 10-13-2012 02:21 AM

I found CSI got somewhat predictable. Since I used to watch forensic shows all the time before it came out, I was familiar with some of the cases they used as inspiration. I also couldn't help but find the stuff more and more unbelievable as far as technology they used. It also got to be too character focused for me. I don't care much about their personal lives, I just want to see the mystery. :P.

I say I don't watch movies much but if I count all the 2 hour mysteries like Midsomer Murders, Lewis, Miss Marple, Poirot, etc., then my movie count more than doubles.

Trakadon 10-13-2012 02:59 AM

Finished watching "Enemy at the Gate"

Kaguya 10-13-2012 04:41 AM

It was Labrinth... such a classic.

Quiet Man Cometh 10-13-2012 05:53 AM

Finished watching Midsomer Murders The Sword of Guillarme (if I spelled that right) and onto Marple The Moving Finger with Geraldine Mcewan (as opposed to Joan Hickson or Julia last-name-I-can't-remember).

Ginger 10-16-2012 09:37 AM

I watched The Matrix Revolutions last night and I forgot how much amazing action it has. For the year it came out it had very nice special effects which I don't think are outdated by any means.

Merlin 10-16-2012 10:46 AM

Actually, the last movie I watched was. . . Ugh god I don't even remember =_=; It was probably Lo. . . It was very funny.

Kaguya 10-18-2012 04:21 AM

Queen of the damned ~drools over Le Stat~
