Airina 05-31-2012 12:20 PM

Well I hope you have fun with that.

Lucid: 05-31-2012 06:02 PM

I don't know what dissecting ads has to do with english either. o.o;; unless it was about persuasive writing or something.

Arikana 05-31-2012 09:01 PM

I don't remember if it was or not now, but either way I found that part of English really lame. >.>

Lucid: 05-31-2012 11:02 PM

As long as it's the english that you think is lame and not the ads, it's all okay. :D

Arikana 05-31-2012 11:57 PM

But I like English, it's the ads that I don't like. >.>

Besides, I'm apparently good at English...I just take a really, really, really long time to write stuffs... D:

Lucid: 06-01-2012 04:53 PM

;A; but the ads are your FRIENDS! :D

Arikana 06-01-2012 07:34 PM

How so?
Because television advertisements/commercials are DEFINITELY NOT my friends. They always take forever during advertisement/commercial breaks. D<

Lucid: 06-01-2012 08:37 PM

But they're so fun! And they tell you about things that you want to buy! You never would have known you needed a Slap Chop unless the commercial said so. :D
The only thing I don't like is seeing the same commercial over and over and over and over.

Arikana 06-01-2012 10:27 PM

Slap chops are useless. D<
This Asian supermarket nearby my house were giving them out for purchases over a certain amount of money, so my parents got one since they spent over that amount. Tried it out, and it sucks. A LOT. D<
And cause it was free, can't be returned. So now we're stuck with something that sucks. D<

Yeah, seeing the same commercial over and over and over again is even worse than commercials on their own. >(

Lucid: 06-03-2012 05:55 PM

I don't have a slapchop brand thing, but I have a kitchenaid brand slapchop-thing and I love it. Maybe Kitchenaid just makes better quality? haha. Funny that that was the example I picked.

Arikana 06-03-2012 08:44 PM

Omg, Kitchenaid stuff is AMAZING~~<3
I have a stand mixer. Got it one year when me and my family where in the US with some family friends. Got it for like SO much cheaper than if we were to get it up here at home. >.>
And it's a top notch, professional grade one too~~♪
I love it so much~~♪

Airina 06-04-2012 03:34 AM

*grabby hands for the kitchen aid mixer* i wants one soooooo badly!

Lucid: 06-04-2012 02:50 PM

I need a kitchenaid mixer. *A* My mom has one and it's amazing. Using a hand mixer is the worst thing ever. I hate it. I will definitely, top-priority buy a mixer with my wedding money, but unfortunately it has to wait until after we move back to Utah because we hardly have room for all our stuff as it is. =/

Airina 06-04-2012 02:52 PM

Where are you guys living right now Lucid?

And Gally, could you possibly add this avi?

Gallagher 06-04-2012 04:15 PM

Done and done, my darling~

Airina 06-04-2012 04:36 PM

Thank you so much Gallagher

Gallagher 06-04-2012 04:38 PM

Not a problem in the least!

Fauxreal 06-04-2012 06:50 PM

Yeah, since my parents bought the stand mixer I've rarely used the hand one. Sadly, it just isn't the same.

When will you be moving back to Utah? And where are you right now?

Fauxreal 06-04-2012 11:53 PM

Utah, I've never been there!

Airina 06-05-2012 12:14 AM

Its not that fun

Fauxreal 06-05-2012 12:18 AM

I think every state has their own thing. I just love where I live.

Arikana 06-05-2012 12:53 PM

I haven't been to Utah before either...

Lucid: 06-05-2012 04:06 PM

There's really no reason to go to Utah. It's just a desert.
I'm in California right now. We go back to Utah in mid to late August for the beginning of fall semester.

littl3chocobo 06-05-2012 04:38 PM

when is the deadline? i am wanting to maybe play

Gallagher 06-05-2012 04:41 PM

The end of the event, which is like... Uhm... I honestly don't know, but I would do it sooner rather than later. There'll be warning, of course, but yeah.

Arikana 06-05-2012 10:28 PM

Aww, Gall is no longer a zombie..? :'(

Gallagher 06-06-2012 12:48 AM

I am a Hufflepuff! -waves wand at-

Arikana 06-06-2012 01:16 AM

B-b-but Slytherin's colours are totally way better...while Gryffindor has the better attitude... >.>;;

Gallagher 06-06-2012 01:28 AM

Spare me. Gryffs are just as big of jerks as Slyths are, but Slyths at least admit to it.

Arikana 06-06-2012 01:11 PM

But the whole bold and courageous thing is kinda more interesting to me, either that or Ravenclaws and their knowledge seeking thing. And now that I think about it, these are more like personalities than attitudes...

Gallagher 06-06-2012 04:15 PM

I don't know what makes you think they can't have traits from multiple houses. You know what a house full of 'courageous' kids amounts to? A whole lot of troublemakers, encouraging each other to break rules. Claws I've got fewer issues with, they'll at least accept strange folks...

Arikana 06-06-2012 05:23 PM

Hufflepuffs are strange folks? o.o

Gallagher 06-06-2012 06:06 PM

That wasn't what I meant, no. Claw in general will accept stranger folks that still meet their standards.

Arikana 06-06-2012 07:00 PM

So if Hufflepuffs aren't strange, what are they? >.>

Gallagher 06-06-2012 07:04 PM

... Loyal, hard working, friendship-oriented people that are good at finding things?

Arikana 06-06-2012 08:47 PM

How are 'Puffs good at finding things? o.o

Gallagher 06-06-2012 09:00 PM

Uhm. Well.

This.

Gallagher 06-06-2012 09:16 PM

Deadline has been announced. Everyone has until the 15th to get the last of their entries in.

Arikana 06-06-2012 10:31 PM

I suppose I could try making another entry. I failed in my first attempt. >.<
