Kali's ears perked up at the call for food and she ran into the mansion.
"I'm starved!" She said excitedly. |
"Follow me if you don't know your way!" She shouted out to the cats behind her. "If you know your way just run along pass me." ------ ---Rin needs to wait for Mirri's post--- |
Mirri ceased her fishing when she heard the voice of Cat announcing food, and the smaller voice of Rin crying out in a tone that she knew all too well. Rin was stuck. Again.
The fish would live for another few hours at least. Mirri walked back to the house at a slightly quicker pace than her usual saunter and found Rin still sitting atop the cat tower. The kitten was going to have to learn to get herself down from her high places one of these days. Mirri figured the lesson could wait for another day, as there was food around and she wasn't yet sure how many cats were going to have to share it. She jumped to the top of the neighbouring platform, picked up the small kitten in her mouth, then took a more carefull, roundabout route from platform to platform rather than leaping right to the floor. |
Saunters to the kitchen with other felines following her. ------ Happy to be on their way to food Rin purred. "Mirri needs to teach me to get down from there. It's so high." She said as the older cat carried her off. |
Kali walked into the dinning room.
"What's to eat?" she questioned with a grin. |
A spred of grilled mice to baked mice layed out on a low table on plates. Roasted phashant with a cat grass and cat nip basting sat in the middle. Bowls of water and saucers of cream were spred out so no one bumped heads while drinking. Above the Table was a small banner written in human hand, saying. "Welcome to all the new cats of the manor." ------ --- |
Kali dove to a seat.
"MINE!!!" she yelled grabbing a place. "This spread looks delicious!!!" she commented. |
Mirri placed Rin back on the ground and looked over the buffet. She couldn't help licking her lips at the sight of the roasted pheasant and decided quickly that it would be her choice meal for the day.
Perhaps the fish in the steam would live a little longer... |
"Seems like our maintinance human gave us all a surprise." Paws smiled as everyone moved to the table. ------ "Mirri! What should I get? It all looks yummy but I don't think it would all fit inside me. I want the crispy mousey, but I also want the bird that smells good!" Rin looked back and forth from each and every item on the table. "Am I allowed the milk stuff?" |
"You can eat what you like Rin," Mirri looks up to Cat. "The food is safe for the kitten, yes?" and waits for her answer before tucking into the pheasant.

"Yes it should be, unless she has problems or allergies to stuff that could have been used to flavor the foods. I'm sure its fine for her." Paw responded turning to Rin. "Even the creme." ------ Rin bounced over to the table hearing the adult cats say she could have anything there. The question was, could she eat one of each of the items. She went to the phesant and started to eat some before going to a baked mouse. |
Kali started salivating as she grabbed a crispy mouse and pulled it to her. She started to dig in right as she saw the cream and upon swallowing, licked up a mouthful of it.

Despite her typically unhurried attitude, Mirri made short work of her piece of pheasant. Human home living did have some advantages over the streets and the wilderness.
After finishing her pheasant Mirri took to a bowl of cream at her usual, more demur pace, which was to say taking as much time as she darn well felt like. |
Cat took her time with a grilled mouse with a Cat Nip flavoring. Cat grass was offered to the cats for easy digestion and she nibbled on that in between. ------ The kitten noticed the charity owner eating some of the green grassy stuff. Why would she eat that? Wasn't that stuff bad? Outside it was, especially if the dog things pee'd on it, which is pretty often. "Mirri, why is she eating that?" Rin questioned, her blue eyes full of confusion. |
Once finished with her mouse, and having squashed her immediate hunger, Kali took a small bite of the pheasant.
"This is delicious" she stated. "The humans are brilliant some times!" she added with a grin. |
Mirri didn't bother to look up from her cream while answering "it's cat grass."
(someone else has to fill in what cat grass is good for. I'm a dog person, I don't know these things. :P) |
"Yes. Humans really do seem to be creative when making cat food." Paws nibbled on her mouse. ------ "It's safe to eat this?" Rin asked. (Cat grass is grown to 4-6 inches then set out for the cats to nibble at. It seems to help with digestion. :3 I wanna get some for Zeke) |
*jin-ball climbs up onto the nearest window sill and lays down*

Nikko had looked about the area blinking some seeing how he had gotten lost in the area he found his back to where he could hear the others around. "Ahh it seems I have found my way back. . ." he said to him self wondering how he had gotten lost in the first place. I am the manry-est of men! |

Finished with her cream, Mirri stretched before laying herself down on a suitable counter with a window view before neatly cleaning herself.

Finishing her own meal Paw Stood up and wondered off. There were many things needing to get done around the manor and she had to get started. ------ Rin was full, she couldn't eat anymore and was getting sleepy. Slowly trotting off the calico bobtail found a spot under a hall way stand and curled up. |
