Hm, I like it so far, but I don't see the solukino skin... o3o Also, I'm assuming you used the white socordia pants? Cause I can't see anything else that would remotely resemble the item. XP

Umaeril 02-09-2013 12:29 AM

Yes, it has the skin, it's just not showing up well. I can change the skin under it. And yes, the shorts, they really went well. let me try a different underskin.

Arikana 02-09-2013 12:54 AM

Ah, okay. I think it was the base throwing me off as I was merely glancing at it quickly all over. @_@ Ehehe, I guess I shouldn't do that. XD

Though now I am curious as to what it looks like with a different base. >_>

Umaeril 02-09-2013 02:14 PM

Now I have a darker base and you can see it fairly well. The whole avatar is really striking actually. I guess I could have left off the little floating lanterns but I am partial to them. And I fancied they were giving off a bit of a bluish shadow thus fulfilling the entire color scheme in one item. I know gold is not yellow but there is a paucity of actual real "yellow" items on Trisphee. Doing a fairy without some kind of antennae or wings is rather hard don't you think? So I was lucky I had the bee pollen antennae or I would have had to just suggest something with the diabolical item you required instead of using that as a tail. Hence went my thinking. /rambling

Arikana 02-09-2013 04:53 PM

I like it. What I really like is how you managed to pull off a fairy look without having used any actual fairy items since I made them restricted. Really calls for some outside-the-box thinking. X3

Umaeril 02-09-2013 05:10 PM

Thank you so much. I adore this avatar, I am going to keep it a while and I copied the layers so that I can recreate it if I want to. ^_^

I hope you are doing well today. I am procrastinating Really Badly. I was supposed to go out and get some fabric and I am thinking of doing it tomorrow that is how lazy I am being. *sigh*

Arikana 02-09-2013 07:12 PM

Let's see, I had class today... Though only one other classmate showed up cause of the "really bad" snowstorm my area was hit with yesterday, even though it really wasn't that bad. >_> A foot of snow is NOT much at all, apparently the Boston area is going to be getting even more than that. (A whopping ninety centimetres (roughly three feet) of snow, to be exact!)

Then I when food shopping with my mom and came back, was going to shower earlier but got distracted playing Pokémon TCG Online. >_>

Now I'm gonna go shower for reals and than make dinner while I watch the game. :)

Has it snowed much for you lately, Uma? :o

Umaeril 02-09-2013 08:42 PM

No, omg we were supposed to get some snow and we got NONE I was pretty unbelieving this morning. Maybe that is why I had no energy. o_O No negative ions floating about.

Sadrain 02-09-2013 10:28 PM

I did manage to get a new avatar out, oh mi gosh!

Arikana 02-10-2013 12:18 AM

@Uma: Damn, that sucks. D: Might I inquire as to where you live? :o

Umaeril 02-10-2013 08:35 PM

Sadrain, you look lovely! So nice to see you. What an elegant avatar. Makes me feel like doing a waltz or something, lol.

I'm in Maryland Ari. But we are on the cusp of a valley and I think we are just oddly protected by the confluence of hills around us. We never get the bad weather or rarely.

Arikana 02-10-2013 11:19 PM

That sounds pretty far some from me. :o
Though I still have no clue where it is. XD Yet, I think I may have been there before....

Lucid: 02-11-2013 12:53 AM

Oooh, Rainy, that avatar looks so pretty! All the cool colors make it look so serene.

I got a lot of snow. :< Everything was melting and lovely, then I was stupid and decided to be brave. I didn't wear a heavy coat and snow boots. Then it snowed. Luckily that mostly melted before I went outside again, but it snowed more over the weekend. I consider anything where snowplows have to clear the roads to be "a lot" of snow.

Umaeril 02-11-2013 10:53 AM

Ari it used to snow here. I am north of Baltimore but south of Pennsylvania. I am on the verge of rural, just on the edge. There are farms just over the hill. Soon it will be 2 hills over as they are building some townhouses. I have only been here since 2004 but we used to get more snow.

Lucid that is a very pretty avatar you have there. What a different color combo, I'll have to ponder if I could use that somehow. When I lived in Mass, that was when I lived with the most amount of snow, when I went to college. Unbelievable amounts.

Arikana 02-11-2013 05:44 PM

I know where Pennsylvania is, but I've no clue where Baltimore is. XD

Do you like getting snow, Uma? :o

Umaeril 02-11-2013 06:58 PM

Baltimore is south of PA but north of Washington DC. Baltimore is about 2 hours north of DC. And I am about 1/2 hour north of that.

I like snow as long as I am warm. I don't like shoveling snow or digging out my car. I lived for years in the snow where I had to do that and it was a drag. I lived in PA and I lived in MA and both places had a lot of snow. So this little snow we get here, I like it, it's not too much to spoil it. Do you like the snow? When I was in the Bahamas I liked the heat quite a bit, it was very nice. But I might get tired of it every day day after day. I don't know though...island living...
