If I were to ever drink, it would be at HOME...or someone else's home...with people I love and trust so if I did something strange I wouldn't have to feel bad XP
|
That was my first experience. I discovered that you can't drink $2 gin straight. Or most of the other things I bought. And I can barely make buttered popcorn, so me mixing drinks was out of the question. Which led to the bar experience. Again, among friends I trust. Didn't even bring my keys. But I sure as hell brought my shuffleboard game. Me old dad used to (sadly) take me to a bar a lot when I was a kid, so I developed a real knack for some shuffleboarding. Turns out though that alcohol can really destroy your shuffleboard skills.

Salone, that description of this setting was indescribably awesome.
Oh, and, everyone, I won't be around much tomorrow. Puppet Shealtiel along if need be. |
I hear that alcohol can destroy some skills while building others.
And yeaaaaa, don't drink gin straight D: I think the only alcohol that you can consume straight is wine, which is probably why it costs so much more. |
I'd say you were wrong, but a $4 bottle of wine is not a good example. Maybe I should give the thing 30 years or so. That's how wine works, right? Doesn't seem like you could really profit off of wine, if you have to let it sit for freaking ever before it's worth anything or tastes nice.

The rule is, generally, not to drink hard liquor without a chaser. Cranberry juice does it the best for me. One of the most simple and yummy drinks to make is a screwdriver, which is one shot of vodka mixed with a glass of orange juice (and by the way, anything taken below the brim of a shot glass automatically makes you a pussy drinker =P). Drinks are generally made by mixing soda or juice with one or two shots of liquor - with exceptions like, say, the long island iced tea, which has vodka, rum, tequila, and at least two more that I can't quite remember. Those are famous for being delicious while simultaneously knocking you on your ass.
...Sorry, the Irish part of me had to show off my knowledge of drinking. |
Well, I did forget about beer. But beer smells nasty. Never tasted any so I can't comment on that. And I guess there's ale, and lagers... Why do I know so much about alcohol when I don't drink it is beyond me XD
And I don't know...maybe it's because they've been around a while and had good starting capital? Wine is serious business in France. |
-raises an eyebrow-
Riiiiiiight. I'm out of this convo XD (Being the person that started it...it's a bit hypocritical.) |
I just noticed Suze's last post. (how'd I miss that...) Dante's personality, sadly enough, is just mine made a tiny bit more extreme, haaaah....

As long as you're not blind while riding a motorcycle with handguns, I think we'll still love you.

-totally didn't disregard the entire talk of drinks. not. at. all. XDD- |
On my mother's side, Funk,
And the story kind of feels like it's at a standstill... =/ |
Yeah. Things have slowed down. I vote the two that no one likes meets up with everyone else that doesn't like them. So shenanigans can ensue.
|
Hmph... I suppose... Even though no one likes them. ;-;
|
Well, Fee kind of likes Lev, or at least wants to find out why she senses so much pain from him >.>;
|
He gets hurt a lot. With bullets, or sharp implements. Could also be whatever is eating away at his mental health. Still not sure what I want to do with that.
