We went to the Bahamas, it was a 8 day trip. We have been there before too, it was really great, we had a wonderful time.

Hi Lucid, thanks so much! This was a huge ship, the Explorer of the Seas" and it kept us entertained the whole time with activities and sights around the ship and dining and visiting with our friends who also went. It's much nicer to have a few people you already know aboard.

I did not get tanned on the cruise because I slathered myself in spf lotion. Also I wore a hat. But I am tan anyhow and so I don't burn, but I am not fond of direct sunlight so I avoid it.

That is too bad Lucid. Hopefully you can get to go on one sometime, at least once. We have done 2 cruises but now we are thinking of doing something else for our next vacation.

Sorry it's taken me so long to reply. I've been on a minimal tech kick the last couple of days. I felt the need to unplug from the web for a bit.
It's going pretty well. I wound up being able to get 82 eggs total from the event. That's including from what I got from the 2 event contest things I entered. I got lucky this time, lol. I didn't get much of anything for the previous event.

We had a casserole of sorts. It was green egg noodles, broccoli pieces, tuna and green Alfredo sauce. My son asked if it was salad, lol. I actually don't like peas unless they're really, really sweet. And it can't be from added sugar or anything, they have to be naturally sweet. >.<' Sweet Pea baby food is sooooo gross. I hate that I can't get the seal off of it sometimes without using my teeth... Bleck. Although I like most green veggies. The only green I usually turn down is peas, lol.

Lime jello is pretty good with fruit in it. I like mixing mandarin oranges in mine. >w< It's tasty. So is celery with peanut butter. Yum!

My friend who came down for the weekend brought me one of hers, she gave it to me. The turkey meatloaves are very good, full of good stuff that make them taste great, no bread in them.

If you like tuna, think you might be interested in a fried tuna patties recipe? They are sooo yummy. Some spices, cheddar, parmesan and eggs and squish together, fry up and yum!

I am not yet used to FB. I never used it before! It's nice to see what people are up to but I only have you and my friend on it. Oh and my hubby. *grin*

That's awesome. :) I like using my mini-loaf pan with muffin mix. They turn out really well. OH, I don't know if your friend told you, but when using muffin/mini-loaf pans, make sure to put water in the empty cups or you'll burn your pan and it will start to stick. My grandma chewed me out the first time I used her muffin pan, lol. I would be interested in the recipe for the tuna patties! They sound yummy. *nod nod*

Here's a couple of ideas to help get your pan clean (hopefully). I haven't tried either one yet, but I'm really interested in the dryer sheet one.

I would love to try the dryer sheet method, holy moly, what is in a dryer sheet that it should clean off baked on gunk??? Haha! Maybe I will try that tonight.

Yes, this is the Beta background. It is quite sharp. I like this avatar I made, if I can say that and not be self-congratulatory, I just like the use of the event skirt and then piling on the rest of the stuff. I forgot how much I enjoyed fiddling with the layers here, I really love making avatars here.

Your avatar is very cool Kilala, you are using colors I never use! I love that green/teal and the silver, and I have never seen that weapon, nice. I like the way your gloves match. What is that under your eyes there? Do you have a theme for this one?

Which event skirt are you using? My eyes can't quite pick it out. I love the hairs you're using. I wouldn't have thought about using them in that combination.

Thanks! That seems to be one of my most used color combos. The weapon I was holding is from the token shop, the Bladed Bat Anchor. My typical eye makeup layering is (in no particular order): Fiery Eyes, Undine, Glowing Eyes, Monarch Eye Tattoos, and Trisiana's Scales. Oh, and Glitter Eyes adds a little color to the eye area too. I think I usually wind up with at least 15-20 face items alone when I'm doing my avs. O.o And as with most of my avs, there was no real themes, I was just throwing random stuff together that matched color wise, and didn't look too awkward, lol.

The skirt is called Aziel's Bottom. I think someone gave it to me. I love long sweeping skirts.

Wow I need to look at the token shop! I have not been in there lately and I have a lot of tokens. And I need to look at those glitter eyes! Today your avi looks really cute, kind of like it would look IRL.
