Oh, that's interesting. I've never seen someone who emulates their accent in written form. I just assumed you meant sentiment, so the message still got across fine.

Most people don't but I do it all the time. I also type "Yinz" sometimes which is another accent thing.

Yinz is slang for 'you is' or 'you all' And you'll only find it in one state in America.

I don't even use British slang. I never liked the local Scottish slang around me, so I tried to avoid it.

My accent gets more Scottish when I'm tired, but otherwise nothing really changes it. My parents speak very proper English, so that's what i'm use to.

Most of the time in real life I get stares because I use correct grammer 99% of the time. But online I let it all go and use slang as much as I want. Double negatives are still rare for me ta use but personal preference and all.

My accent is.. uhhm.. I have no idea. A weird mix of scottish, english and american.

When I went to the States I ended up picking up a lot of their way of talking and slang. It was weird how quickly i adopted it.

that's the weird thing. I usually don't adapt. I've lived in rural Scotland my entire life, yet still retain more of an English accent because of my parents. I've seen other people move here and lose their accent in a matter of months or years.

Asumi, all I have is the faint rements of a Bronx accent which had faded due to extensive voice training. I can mimic alot of accent but none of them are my accent, y'know?

Bloody Scotland accents make people impossible to understand.

not all Scottish accents are like that. Some of them are okay xD thogh I'll admit that even i have trouble with a lot of them.

Ducks, I've never met a Scot I could understand. ;-; Even Scotty was hard to understand.

In that essence they would assume I have an accent simply because I don't use that same inotations as they do. But a completely flat monotone has no accent if you are really careful.

If you where to follow this it would see if you did not intone at all there is no accent to be had.

I had it taught to me~ It was something I did for Broadway so I could be understood a bit better while singing as I couldn't be terribly loud.

I consider myself to not have an accent, since mine can not be pinned to a certain place. To Scottish people i sound american, to american i sound Scottish etc etc. I don't think i'll ever find a place where my accent exists.

The Canadians are oisome. (Just throwing out the shout out from a Canadian friend of mine who pronounces awesome as oisome)
