I mean, TBH, though I have better accuracy than, say, the normal HvZ player, I don't have the skill my friends do. Haha...we actually /train/ for HvZ. It's kind of silly from an outside perspective. We make what everyone else sees and participates in as a normal Nerf War into a training ground, and we make really meticulous plans for getting around campus. We have a comms channel, and a voice comms, and a system of signaling and overwatch. It's...really complicated.
But yeah. I don't have the accuracy that they do, and I travel really light anyways, so I'd rather grab a pair of Nerf swords and just fight with those. Or just go for low profile. |

I've actually sat out for the previous two games, because of workload and academics. But while I can't directly influence my group's actions, I'm now one of the most valuable assets we have, for the amount of observing I've done. Kind of funny how that works out.

When I get mad you can almost see steam coming out of my ears. If steam could come out it would come out! But I calm down very easily. I don't carry grudges but I never forget a slight.
Espy that sounds like so much fun. I played Assassin in college and survived to a ripe age though someone finally got me. What you are doing there sounds like a lot of fun. College is a great time of life. Ok Kilala, but we must have a Regatta of some sort after Easter (when my ears come off). Btw your ears are Adorable! I got inspiration from your avi for mine but I tried to make it different. |

Yeah, I've learned that I can't really do things like assassins without the potential for strong negative triggers. I'd say all four times in life: Childhood, College, Work, and Retirement have about an equal chance for it being good as bad. I've come to hate...*Is disturbed by that for a moment*...hate much of the education system due to the faculty. I have a bit of a strong Envy thing, and I try to keep my grudges/anger to myself, with varying difficulty. |
I've seen you posting about some of your dealings with faculty, Law. It makes me wary of trying to do the whole college thing...

As stated in my "Is the Value of Art Dying" thread... negative situations seem to be a bit of a norm for those around me irl. Does not make it any more, or less viable of a thing. And, different views likely come from different treatments/experiences. There was a reason most classical gods were seen as both bad and good at whim - the world is full of many random negative and positive life experiences. My dice of fate just seem to be 1's and 2's, with KGB and Trisphee being 4's (6 sided die on a "six is best, 1 is worst scale...and rambling myself to sleep now) Truth is, you will never know what life has in store for you. |

I liked college. I went to Smith College. Maybe they are just nice there, idk.
People rise to the level of their incompetency. Very true. I do not envy anyone. There is no telling what a person is really going through in their life. I see someone with the life of a prince or princess, or totally rich or famous or beautiful...you just never know. I have seen too many people who look like they should be having a great life and they are not. But I see a lot of sick people in my line of work. Anyhow. I need to look at Pink's shop. New stuff. Need. |

It's not easy not having money if that is the issue. I was poor once upon a time. I had to use food stamps and I was grateful to get the 5 lb slab of government cheese they gave to me. I had no car, I had only my HS education and my wits. I survived that way for 12 years before I could get to a point where I could go to college.
But Lawtan I did not mean the "I do not envy anyone" as a slight against you. I hope you did not think that. I took a long time to get to this point |
