my nail-less toe is odd. **pokes at own toeflesh**
three sides of the nailbed are paper-white but the bottom side is purpley-black. :O

today the doctor told me I can leave it uncovered when I'm sitting for extended periods, so it can get some air. for the past two weeks, it's been constantly under a bandaid unless it's being soaked in salt water. so this is the first time in a while I've had a chance to observe it.
more of the toeflesh used to be white, but it's slowly getting pinker. I think that might have been the result of two-week bandaging.
the purple is where the nailbed starts, so it's the deepest part, so it's going to take the longest to heal.
