but no i love chrono trigger, yeah it's not as good as everyone praised it to be but it was the first RPG i played (i was 6 when it came out in the US) and i loved it, i really enjoyed the story and the magic system in it. I enjoyed the fact that you had to farm tech points and couldn't just equip something to give you that ability. yea you could mash the a button to blaze through the game but it did require leveling quite often.

for its time on the snes it was innovating, but to modern games its not even in the middle

Well the graphics are what they are because if it originally being made for the SNES. I don't have trouble following the plot and it seems engaging enough. Battling can be a pain but I don't mind it. I like Frog and Chrono's "x-slash" attack quite a bit.

Thanks Mis. I know that this probably isn't the best way to be doing it... but i just really don't want to dream.

-stare- if it comes down to some of the side quests it can be annoying, like there are specific time frames where you can't move on in a side quest until you finish the main story, then there are the time period ones where you have to bounce from time period to time period
