Quiet Man Cometh 02-22-2012 02:15 AM

So that's *not* an undead swarm over there raging towards Na'lsa because they detect the collapse of the priest's aura and are now rushing headlong into the previously barred aread because that's was people do when someone takes down a "do not tresspass" sign?

Does the APC have tries or catipillar tracks?

Suzerain of Sheol 02-22-2012 02:17 AM

Shealtiel exorcised the undead, hence being unconscious. ;)

I'll defer to Salone on the APC.

Salone 02-23-2012 02:02 AM

APC has tires. My knowledge on the M3 is sketchy at best, but from what I remember they're designed to take all kinds of hell, so running over brambly bits and bone isn't going to do much to them. High caliber rifles maybe, but we're talking massive amounts of rubber. They'll be fine.

You are looking to run stuff over, right?

Suzerain of Sheol 02-23-2012 02:12 AM

Someone should wake Shealtiel up when we back to the APC. Just a suggestion. ;)

Salone 02-23-2012 02:13 AM

Lev started shouting. Figured it was time to bring him back.

Suzerain of Sheol 02-23-2012 02:19 AM

Ah, excellent, excellent.

Espy 02-23-2012 02:59 AM

-amused at Lev's bit there-

Erm...Want to just assume Dante followed / is about to follow everyone else into the APC? /brain just died

Yeah but those were just the undead that were on the crosses yeah? For all we know, there might be more puddles of them lurking nearby.

And yes, I was talking running over stuff though not neccessarily brambles and bones, more squirmy, grabby zombies.

Suzerain of Sheol 02-23-2012 01:53 PM

Just, we've already used the Dybbuk so much... yay for faceless legions of (anti)hero fodder?

Salone 02-23-2012 03:10 PM

I want to hurry up and eat a horseman, sir.

Suzerain of Sheol 02-23-2012 03:20 PM

Haha. Any preference as to which? :p

Serra Britt 02-23-2012 09:39 PM

Well if we do get another Dybbuk swarm, Fee does have a grenade handy, and a few more in the APC I think?

Espy 02-23-2012 11:33 PM

Can Gluttony eat Famine? -would be interesting-

But that takes the fun out of driving over them. :(

Serra Britt 02-24-2012 12:31 AM

We wouldn't need it unless they got us before we got in the APC, Fee used it last time because there were several people outside.

Salone 02-24-2012 02:05 AM

Actually, I'd rather eat Pestilence. Would be interesting to see what you could do with a disease when you control the very flesh it festers in. It's one of those things that you don't notice in a fight, but it's been ripping you apart from the inside the very moment you made contact with your adversary. Then the Ebola comes rushing through and you bleed from the very pores on your body.

EDIT: A brief look in to Wikipedia tells me that Pestilence is actually Conquest. Huh. What did we decide that the four were again? Conquest and War just seem so...similar.

Serra Britt 02-24-2012 09:33 PM

I've never heard of Pestilence being Conquest myself. It's sure associated with disease in any media I've seen who use the horsemen.

Suzerain of Sheol 02-25-2012 12:47 AM

Pestilence, the White Horseman, is said to have "come conquering and to conquer" in Revelation, while the arrows he fires supposedly cause plague.

Suzerain of Sheol 02-26-2012 09:31 PM

Someone remind me if Kasdeja kept hold of heart or not, can't remember. I'll have to edit if not.

Espy 02-26-2012 09:51 PM

Nup, he still supposedly had hold of the heart.

Suzerain of Sheol 02-26-2012 10:02 PM

Okay, good. Can't wait to see Lev's reaction.

Salone 02-27-2012 12:27 PM

Once I get off work I'll post. Have to figure out just how much fight Na'lsa can muster to take back Lev's body.

I created a character based on these premise in a another story. He was technically immortal though, so I would be interested to see how that goes as well.

Suzerain of Sheol 02-28-2012 01:15 AM

*braces for OOC response to Salone's post*

It's all in the details...

Salone 02-28-2012 01:44 AM

I figured I'd do it anti-climatic for once. Next post will be Na'lsa going on an insane power trip. Figured I might give Kas a chance to say something.

Espy 02-28-2012 02:01 AM

Okies, Lev is definitely huggable in that post >.>

Espy 02-29-2012 09:51 PM

Ah, this has got to be one of my favorite vocab lists yet. A few of the words: rabble, vestige, vortex, disgorge, prescient, gossamer, minstrel, strife, pathos, fissure, infusion, apocalyptic, arcane.

Wonderful stuff. (Not that I don't know those words already; my teaher just happens to think we're stupid.)

Salone 03-01-2012 02:16 AM

List seems strangely fitting for our little setup.

Suzerain of Sheol 03-01-2012 02:17 AM

I was thinking the same thing...

Salone 03-01-2012 02:28 AM

Guys, just so you know I will probably be unavailable for the weekend in late April. Going to try to make Botcon this year in Dallas.

Quiet Man Cometh 03-01-2012 06:40 PM

My history teacher in high school felt the need to define "loathe" for us. I wasn't impressed.

Have fun Salone! We get a heads up before you leave of course?

Salone 03-01-2012 07:33 PM

Of course. It's in late April, so plenty of time. Besides, we could all be dead by then.

Espy 03-01-2012 08:18 PM

...well, that was a morbid thought.

Suzerain of Sheol 03-01-2012 08:19 PM

Look at which thread you're in, Espy! :p

Espy 03-01-2012 08:23 PM

Yeah, but but but stiiiiill.

/also had the worst of luck/skill today

Suzerain of Sheol 03-01-2012 11:44 PM

Interesting tidbit. Was reading Enoch today, apparently Kasdeja is, traditionally, the fallen angel of abortions. >_>

And two other things I couldn't make much sense of.

Salone 03-02-2012 03:23 AM

Like, fetal abortions? Babies?

...Can I eat a baby?

Suzerain of Sheol 03-02-2012 10:44 AM

Yes, those kind of abortions.

And is anyone even having babies in this setting? :p

Salone 03-02-2012 06:43 PM

Probably, what with the lack of contraception and all. Never underestimate the ability of two people to make a bad decision under stressful times.

With that said, I want to delve in to breaking down Na'lsa now, torn between his natural demonic urges and what he feels is a higher calling (Ripping apart everything in sight and devouring it vs. opening heaven again for business). And he would someday like a go as Kasdeja.

Suzerain of Sheol 03-02-2012 07:08 PM

I meant more in the sense that god is dead and cycle of souls is disrupted. :p It might not be spiritually possible to produce living children.

And that definitely sounds interesting.

First, though, someone needs to wake up Shealtiel. :p
