Jeez we sat there for over ten minutes XD

Mekatra 02-16-2018 12:03 AM

We are the best at losing to bots.

SparX 02-16-2018 12:10 AM

The game of the weakest link XD

Mekatra 02-16-2018 12:15 AM

We could play that weird random board game next time.

I even had one at my house for a while until my husband spilled soda all over it and ruined it.

I vaguely remember injuring my knuckles pretty badly during one particular air hockey match.

Mekatra 02-16-2018 03:48 AM

We had an air hockey table when I was a kid but it was broken so I didn't actually know what all the little holes were for until I got a lot older and realized that our table thing didn't work right. XD

Air hockey makes me think of Skee-ball though, which is arguably the best arcade ticket-granting game ever in my humble opinion.

Espy 02-16-2018 05:37 AM

My mom's really good at Skee ball. ...I'm not. There was this one time I threw the ball too hard and it came back and nearly hit me in the face.

SparX 02-16-2018 06:19 AM

I love-love skee ball. Its my go-to xD
That sounds incredibly painful espy. Those balls aren't light or soft.

What weird random board game? I only know weird card games - but I'm always excited to try something new. Speaking of it, I'm online if anyone wants a match of Uno, Cards Against Humanity, or similar stuff.

Never played skee ball, but I agree it sounds painful. What's your favorite arcade game, Espy?

Espy 02-16-2018 07:45 AM

I haven't set foot in an arcade for over a decade, so I'd need a list of what arcade games actually exist.

On the topic of my mom, she has...alarming accuracy in anything that requires accuracy. Steady hands and all, I guess. One of her professors back in the day strongly recommended that she look into being a surgeon.

Death by Mirrors 02-16-2018 07:57 AM

I'm pretty sure it's next to impossible to compile a full list. Those I know from my own area (which doesn't neccessarily mean I've played them, just saw them around) are air hockey, table football, Whack-A-Mole, Dance Dance Revolution, the claw thing that's similar to Trisphee's crane game, various sports simulators (racing car, jet ski, ski slalom), a horse racing game that's actually done similar to skee ball, the classic pinball machines... billard is popular at our arcades too... and I'm sure there are more I can't remember right now.

EverAshwood 02-16-2018 10:58 AM

The only sort of "arcade" around me seems to be Dave and Busters, and they have.... a lot of crap. Racing games, guitar hero, 4D horror games, skeeball, basketball, fruit ninja....

SparX 02-16-2018 11:33 AM

Man, We have this place called gameworks down south in seattle. 2 stories of arcade with an attached pizza and beer restaurant. It has a whole LAN party area filled with 30-40 computers. I just think that is so cool.
I usually play DDR, The basketball hoops, skeeball, Air hockey, and soul caliber when I am there.

mdom 02-16-2018 01:56 PM

Death by Mirrors 02-16-2018 03:22 PM

But with style and grace all the same!
