a 8GB free cloud storage is pretty good I suppose. I'd just have trouble deciding what I want to preserve with it.

Alpha 01-04-2012 10:42 AM

You could always upgrade to more space as with any online backup service.....at least I think you can.

Airina 01-04-2012 12:07 PM

I think so too i just haven't looked into it hat much because all of my music is backed up lots of places and then so i just have my word documents on it

Alpha 01-04-2012 12:10 PM

I'm actually not using it at the moment. I have an external hard drive that I use instead.

Airina 01-04-2012 12:17 PM

I use both.... After my hard drive just crashed and like totally fried to pieces and i lost like everything..... *cries* because i had been saving up for an external hard drive..... which sucked timing wise..... i got it when i was doing a quick update my computer died.... yeah.... and they couldn't get anything off of it..... *cries* and now i'm being over cautious

Alpha 01-04-2012 12:30 PM

That's how I am normally with files. I have been slacking off a bit, but I need to get back in the swing of backing everything up.

Ducky 01-04-2012 04:36 PM

Right now I think I'll stick to having no cloud storage. I have enough protection against most disasters, and if there's a fire i'll be worrying about bigger things xD

Airina 01-04-2012 08:40 PM

Ok! I hope that you don't have to worry about a fire ever

Duena 01-10-2012 02:25 PM

You start out with 5GB of free storage. You can upgrade it with an additional 10GB, 20GB, or 50 GB for totals of 15GB, 25GB, 55GB respectively.

Ducky 01-10-2012 05:07 PM

What sort of price are we looking at for these upgrades?

Alpha 01-10-2012 11:13 PM

20$ per year for extra 10GB, 40$ per year for extra 20GB, 100$ per year for extra 50GB

Airina 01-10-2012 11:15 PM

Wow that kinda sucks..... I didn't look into that....

Ducky 01-11-2012 12:48 AM

Wow, that's pretty expensive. for $100i could easily get a 1TB hard drive and simply keep it somewhere else. While Cloud storage does have other advantages, i don't think they justify the cost. At least not in my situation.

Airina 01-11-2012 12:51 AM

Yeah I guess i don't know. Things with them are crazy

Alpha 01-11-2012 05:03 PM

It is a matter of preference, if you would rather have to deal with the actual hard drive or not. Also, there are other companies that offer similar services, but I'm not sure of the prices.

Ducky 01-11-2012 05:11 PM

I simply don't have the requirements that cloud storage fills. All I want to do is protect my data, i don't care about being able to access my data from other places and devices, which is one of the big plus sides to cloud storage.
