Bingo, New York. The sheer amount of people is quite disturbing even if they all aren't in college. Washington D.C was where I went for a year when I was doing advanced classed but I could not stand it. And I had enough with meeting the Riot Police every day.
Hells yea, I used to live in New York. So the actual city
Ever been to Alexandria, VA? or Waldorf, MD?
Yeah, I lived near D.C. for three years and didn't like being actually in the city. Not bad for sightseeing or just going to for the museums. Otherwise, not so great for living in.
No, I normally stay in this general area. Though I have been to Georgia and Canada a couple of times. I actually grew up in New Castle, PA and I've been staying here for the holidays with my new girlfriend.
@Alpha, I've gone sightseeing enough in that city to be sick of it. And I can probably say I saw the entire police force active at the time I was there. |

That is a cold place..... cold places are bad.

The crime rates are a factor....
So far my favorite place to live has been Miami! Granted I couldn't party like I wanted to when I did, but it was still fun with the beaches and warm weather. Although we never had "snow days"....more of "flood days".... |
My favorite place has been and probably always will be lovely old New Castle.
I grew up in lovely old Fort Bragg/Fayetteville. And that is how I met Alpha.
Yep! Good old military family moving around. And I get to do it all over again...though this time it will be because of me! At least after I graduate and get my degree...
I don't really have a favorite place, but throughout the places I lived my favorite is Fort Collins CO
I probably stay in the same general area. My imediate family doesn't move alot though if I move I will move far. Cause that seems the pattern for the extended clans movements.
I love Savannah, GA the city is so alive and historic. River street is to die for, especially the food!
New Castle actually has one of the largestr historic districts, it is in the top 10. Also it is the Firework Capital of the World. And it doesn't take the tittle lightly, lighting up the sky every chance it has got.
That it is, although they Keys down in FL are quite amazing, if not a bit more colorful at times (mean more the variety of people and characters you get). The River Walk in San Antonio, TX is great as well, though haven't been in a few years.
