I use my leg or the arm of the couch. Alas, it's not as precise as I would like it. I'm getting indecisive again. >.<

EDIT: I think I'm going to steal a pose from my Manhwa book and try drawing stuff on top of it.

Industrial Gothic Entry #1 (Currently modifying for the Industrial Angelic for this same set)

My first pixel session on Paint. Please be kind lol..

edit; Here is the Industrial Angelic version that goes with the set. The wings are also to be included in the Industrial Gothic outfit except in that maroon color I used.

I think I might actually attempt to make something this time ...
It'll give me something to do in school. xD

I'm impressed with anyone who works with MS paint. That thing really takes some wicked skill.

Awesome entry, Ginger! <33

Ginger 05-17-2012 12:02 PM

Thanks! <33

I think it is rather generic myself. I feel that I could have done a better job with originality but I definitely needed sleep. Am I allowed to enter another set for this theme? My brain isn't quite comprehending what I'm reading in the Rules D:

edit; Okay, I think I got it down now xD I'll be working on the other set for the same theme later today, assuming if I'm feeling up to it.

Batty 05-17-2012 12:15 PM

You can enter twice per theme. =D

ettah 05-17-2012 03:24 PM

i think i'm going to force myself to enter this contest.
but the question is, should i pixel my ideas onto an avatar,
or should i just doodle them? >.<

also, do i have to use the trisphee base?

You don't have to pixel, you can draw, and even type what it looks like. (Typing normally doesn't win though FYI. Yet everyone encourages it if you have no artist talent.)

Illusion 05-17-2012 04:55 PM

I can't stand this anymore... *flips a desk over*
Photoshop = Crap
Gimp = Better then photoshop times 10

x.x... I need a tablet..

Batty 05-17-2012 05:17 PM

You don't have to use a trisphee base, or pixel, like Illusion said.
You can just doodle things out, as long as its visual.

And Illusion, they don't generally win, because, its not that its hard to visualize what it is, we'd just much rather prefer it if we had something to go off of, so we can have a more accurate result when it comes to making the item.

Darn! Ginger beat me to it! Oh well. Let me get my camera organized here. My brother is in absentia so that means I can't work the scanner. (Actually, I know how to work a scanner, just not the near-sentient thing that he's got). A photo shall have to do.

Batty 05-17-2012 11:27 PM

A photo will do!

I can't wait to see what you've got, Quiet!

Quiet Man Cometh 05-17-2012 11:36 PM

Voila!

...sort of (I'm not great at drawing people, and missed the class on drawing body proportions. Damn).

I confess! I did this solely so that I could have the swans. ;).
Look is based on Grimms' fairy tale "The Seven Swans" (or six, depending on who you ask), along with the star/night/sun dress theme that shows up in a couple fairy tales. Same with the red shoes. I like bright colours with a fairy tale, hence the blue/yellow/red thing.

List as follows:

1. Swans in front of the avatar by the feet (guy on the right looks a little funny because I was playing with wing poses).
2. Swan flock behind the avatar.
3. Swan wing in place of right arm (should be left)
4. Star top (basic wide neck shirt with black halter. Hanging stars from collar).
5. Belt with hanging stars, removable.
6. Navy blue dress (starry night thing) with hanging stars, drawn empire waist or with removable belt. Either way. Fabric coming through slit is sun/daytime themed and primary yellow.
7. Tiara with cliche swan necks making heart (I know! Don't bug me :p)
8. Bright, primary red sparkley Dorothy shoes!
9. Layered mantle of many different kinds of fur with sun clasp.

Edit: forgot. The halter strap around the neck is black to match the black detail at the base of a swan's beak, and I put little ties on the dress shoulders for fun.

Batty 05-17-2012 11:39 PM

Whoaa! Thats awesome, Quiet!
Adding it to the entries list! <333

<.<;; I love that freaking top.

Illusion 05-17-2012 11:41 PM

I was going to do the 7 swans! D=
I even have the dress... *Flips desk over*
I want to do something no one else did yet... Maybe the shoe elves might be my best bet >.>
