Mizuki looked to Thalion as he spoke and as he did his ears dipped down and he frowned a little but he couldnt help it. Mizuki needed to know what was behind that door and when Thalion refused he thought of only one way. He knew that it would be a while for Thalion to forgive him and he also knew that he would regret it later but the temptation was to great.

Opening his mouth Mizuki was about to say something when the old male before them spoke first "A little different then the others but the same in many ways" The male said before turning and with a wave of his staff and some phrases in old elvish the door opened.

Mizuki held his breath as he watched the dust settle. On the inside of the door crystals lined the floor and the wall. Everything was covered except a path leading to two things. The old man walked in and Mizuki said nothing as he fallowed. Reaching the objects Mizuki gasped. He was in ah.

There before him suspended by old magic were two items. One a long staff with a crystal at the top held by wings of stone feathers as was the staff. There beside it was a sword. Long in length but it looked different like something Mizuki had seen in his dreams.

"The final test" The old man said looking at the two items before turning to them "If your blood is truely that of the old ways these items will return to their original beauty and once again aid those who need it" He said as the man stepped aside. Mizuki breathed in he was about to reach out when he stopped. Looking to Thalion he didnt know what to say but the glare he got said alot.

Rosekitten 12-06-2012 02:39 AM

A while was the least of Mizuki's worries. No Thal was pissed to say the least. To be forced to do something, let alone by Mizuki no less! Out of all the mages he knew he would have thought this would be the last person he had to worry about doing such things. But no that just happened, and the other probably never had a second thought about it either. Probably the betrayal of it all was what was bothering him the worse. Sure he hid things from Mizuki but hell if he tried to force the other to do things.

Though when the old man spoke again Thal glanced at him but he was still clearly ticked. Sure he could rant and rave at the other but it wouldn't do any good, no he was going to bite his tongue and keep quiet. For the time being it was all he could do to keep his temper from causing his magic to go about having a mind of its own. Even as the door was opened and Mizuki followed the old man Thal stayed behind a little to get his breath and to keep his current rage under control before he was tempted to see just how much of a beating he could give Mizuki.

After a moment he catch up to the two as the old man spoke again though his thoughts were easy to read. He still was displeased with all of this and personally he had second thoughts about trusting some old mans words and just trying to touch weapons that didn't look to be disturbed for years. When Mkizuki looked at him he nearly wanted to ask him if he was damn happy now? Sure even if the other had wanted to get into this room he could have gone about it in a number of other ways. But to force it!

In a way he was hoping something bad would come of this so he could say he told him so. But at the same time he wanted all of this to really be ok. Like maybe this was help or aid or whatever. Maybe he was being overly cautious about all of this...

Pinkie 12-07-2012 02:17 AM

Mizuki knew that Thalion wouldnt speak but he still had to look at him. He knew that what he did was wrong but...come on was this so bad? They clearly were in no danger so what could really go wrong? Turning back to the two items Mizuki stepped forward and reaching a hand out he paused as he looked to the staff. Then his ears dipped back and he grabbed it.

This was when nothing happened. The staff looked the same as it had before him and nothing changed. Mizuki was about to sigh and put it back when he felt a shudder run through the staff. Cracking and crunching fallowed as the layer of rock cracked and fell from it.

Mizuki stared in awe as the new staff showed its true colors. Adapting to his magic quickly the staff hilt was white leading up to three light lavender feathery wings that incased a lavender crystal. Mizuki couldnt believe. With out any hesitation he cast a spell and watched as soon as his words were done the light hair hopped and bounded around the room and the threes feet. It felt like his own staff...one that he had used many times before.

Looking to Thalion he smiled "See...nothing bad" He said with a nod of his head as he stepped aside and indicated to the sword "Your turn" He said with tilt of his head "We can clearly see its nothing bad...can you stop fretting now and grab that sword" He said then decided to add something "If it will help...please grab it" Mizuki said with an almost pleading look towards Thalion.

Rosekitten 12-07-2012 02:36 AM

Ok he was honestly expecting something bad, though if Mizuki had any idea the line he was crossed he might have a better understanding as to why Thal was so against all of this. But he didn't of course the other would view it as being his fault for not telling him but to be honest he never told anyone. Even those who had been around him for the past hundred or so years had no idea why he was so against magic. Heck when he found out he had any he researched every way possible to try to seal it or to rid himself of it. None came back that would end in the results he wanted. Not without risking his life anyway.

Even after nothing bad happened and Mizuki spoke that there was nothing to fret about... He was still worried. Everything had a price, no one just hands over relic weapons without some cause or reason, even if what the old man said was true and they were the only ones who could use them. If that was the case what blood line did they have that made them special? That part worried him more so now than it did before.

He just wanted to leave it there for whatever reason. Honestly it felt like the weapon was calling to him but he was trying his damnest to ignore it this whole time. What reason would there need to be to have two such weapons locked away down here? A question that he was not going to get answers to here as he sighed finally knowing if he didn't give in Mizuki would just force him to do it. All mages were the same weren't they?

Stepping forward a little he hesitated before moving his hand towards the hilt of the sword though the weapon didn't even give him the time to touch it before the layer of rust and rock seemed to break from it. All the while a spark of fire swirled around the blade till it looked like it had never aged a day. Holding the blade he had to admit it was lighter than he expected, seemed balanced... and what the hell was he thinking?! Using this was probably a death wish on its own. The blade was black with touched of red and silver in it. Black metals were not only rare but among the strongest if not so, to use for crafting anything out of.

Though he was glad that the fire was a mere spark and nothing more. Why did he just think his magic problem got worse with this thing. His ears were still back a little like he was expecting something to still come of this. "Ok can we go now please? ... before pressing out luck further." Not only that he wanted to get a temporary rune set in place so he wasn't worried about if his magic was going to decide to have a mind of it's own when he didn't want it to.

Pinkie 12-07-2012 02:46 AM

Mizuki watched as the blade changed then listened as he spoke. Mizuki nodded his head. Yes now that he knew what was down here and he got what he wanted they could leave but before he could turn around to do so the older man before them spoke.

"The prophecy of old is upon us" He said with a smile "Its great to see the savors back to there glory" With that he cast a spell and with a flash of light he was gone. With his job done there was no longer a need to keep what was found. Mizuki sighed a little "Well there goes a chance for any questions I had" He said before turning and starting his walk back to the camp.

Mizuki was dreading what was to come. He knew that Thalion would have some words for him if he even spoke at all. That was when Mizuki thought it best to leave the male be. So when they reached the mane camp instead of heading for the tent like Thalion he headed for Lunas.

Rosekitten 12-07-2012 03:01 AM

Questions, heh there wouldn't be enough time in all the world to answer all the questions. Not knowing Mizuki all too well. Though honestly he was glad the old man left, though he wished he had left without saying a damn word at all. Savors... right. He had no idea what he had meant by that but there was no way that there was anything that special about them. This was probably a fluke on its own. Protective spells and bindings can grow weaker over the years. Anything to explain what had happened. Even though he had a feeling he was trying to make a excuse at this rate.

He followed Mizuki back to camp though it was done so in silence. He was glad of it because his thoughts were raging still with what Mizuki had done. Sure the dwarf commander and Felix knew well of Thal's hate of magic but had no idea why. A secret he might take to his grave at this rate. At first he was going to go to the tent but he changed his mind finding he wouldn't be able to rest if he wanted to even without Mizuki there. No his thoughts were too active.

Even as Mizuki seemed to go seek out his little dragonkin pet, he hardly cared he had no words for the other at this time. None that required speaking anyway. Felix was sitting near Baal by one of the fires as Thal walked over to them though his expression said it all. "Wanta talk about it?" Felix laughed weakly as Thal almost had a defeated look on his faces suddenly from whatever had crossed his mind. "Not really." Felix blinked a little at the reply before Thal sat down near them both.

The two looked at one another before Felix spoke again. "alright now I know something is wrong, you two were gone for a good while.. so what-" "Nothing happened, some more bullshit about the legends and a mage doing what I'd expect of any." Was the sharp reply as Felix seemed to think on the words a moment. "Ah.. so something to do with magic.." "Your being nosy again human." Felix took that as a good hint to shut up. He swore before he died of old age he was going to figure out what Thal or rather why he hated magic. Though not at the moment.

After a short while Thal stood again before saying he needed to clear his head. With that he started to walk off to do just as he had stated. He didn't want to see Mizuki it was all too tempting to forsake the risk of any of his anti magic abilities backfiring and causing himself harm if he did see the other. He wasn't going too far though, just enough to get some space from all the noise.

Pinkie 12-07-2012 03:15 AM

Mizuki walked to Lunas tent and without annoucing himself walked in and over to a chair. Sitting he sighed lightly before a noise to his right made him look over. Luna was standing there with her head tilted to the side "Okay....new staff and a tired expression" She said "Whats wrong?" She asked before walking over and taking a seat in the other chair near him.

"I dont know where to begin" He said with a nod of his head "I mean...one moment we were good the next we were fighting" Luna laughed at that causing Mizuki to glare at her "Then I through a punch but I didnt hit him I hit the wall" Luna looked to him at that. This was when he explained the gate keeper and the items and what he did to get them.

Luna looked to him at that "You did what?" She asked and Mizuki sighed "I know...I shouldnt of done it" He sighed regretfully and Luna glared at him "You should never make anyone do something against there will with your magic! Especially if that person is your better half!" Mizuki glared at her for that "You need to find him and say your sorry" She said with a frown.

Mizuki knew that he should but he shook his head "No.." Luna growled "I cant right now he needs time to cool down" Luna huffed "The longer he has time to think the more angry he will get" She said "You need to go and grovel at that mans feet and I mean now" Luna said leveling Mizuki was an ice cold blue stare making him shiver. Luna rarely got angry with him but when she did it was scary.

Mizuki sighed "Fine fine...ill go" He said before standing and leaving the tent. He really didnt want to but if Luna found out that he didnt try to find the other male there would be hell to pay. Heading for the first place he knew Thalion would be Mizuki walked to the training area in hopes that the male was there.

Rosekitten 12-07-2012 03:30 AM

He was more or less aimlessly walking, he had a lot on his mind and most of it had nothing to do with the current situation. No his past had come back to haunt him in more ways than one. His ears were back and he seemed rather focused on his thoughts so if anyone was talking to him he never noticed in the least.

After a while he did end up in the training grounds that were set up though not because he wanted to be here. Actually he would have rathered stay away from any of the areas he would normally go to. It'd save him from running into Mizuki. Though if he was with Luna what did it matter he had plenty of time to sort his thoughts on what he wanted to do when he saw the other the next time. At the moment none of them were as collected as they should be.

After pacing a few times he clenched his fist before slamming it against the wall of the cave. Curse him, was his first thought. It was his fault, all of the torment he was still going through. Even if he tried to hide it or cover it up when it came down to it he was terrified of magic, he had all rights to be considering the hell he went through before running away.

It was about that time that he heard footsteps walking towards the area he was in. His ears were still back like he was angry but upset or stressed about something. He wasn't sure how to describe how he felt at the moment. What did it matter he knew already who was there as soon as the walking stopped. "You have some damn nerve... pulling that stunt back there than having the balls to walk out here when I was clearly avoiding you." He growled a little knowing he wanted to do nothing better than to sock the other one but that wouldn't solve any of his current feelings besides quelling his anger a little.

Pinkie 12-07-2012 03:50 AM

Mizuki walked the way to the grounds and sure enough there he was. He watched as Thalion punched the wall and cured. Mizuki sighed a little but Luna was right he needed to mend things. Walking forward timidly he looked at the male and was about to speak but was cut off by some words the male said. "I know you tried to avoid me" Mizuki said "But I wanted to apologize" He said hanging his head looking at the ground as his ears dipped back.

"I...I shouldnt have done what I did" He said "I regret the thought even coming into my head let alone actually doing it" Mizuki said with a sigh. "I am sorry Thalion it will never happen again" He said as he turned to leave though as he did he he paused a moment.

Shrugging his shoulders he spoke before walking again "I dont see what the big deal is to be honest...I mean nothing bad came of it" Mizuki didnt know anything about Thalions past. No when they were kids he really didnt know the males family at all hell he didnt know he had a twin sister even. So to say he didnt understand the problem with magic was an understatement.

Rosekitten 12-07-2012 04:08 AM

He let Mizuki speak but it was only because he had nothing he wished to say to the other. No he was going to let him speak and leave, it would end this quickly and he could go back to his thoughts. Or that was the plan until Mizuki started to walk away but seemed to pause before saying he didn't see what the big deal was. That comment right there destroyed whatever was holding Thal back before.

As Mizuki started to walk off Thal turned and rushed after him before forcing the other against the nearest wall and pinning him there. "You don't see huh? Oh there is a ton wrong with it, nothing you would understand though." He growled before pulling back from Mizuki before he actually did hurt the other. "Your right nothing bad did come of it this time... but that is not even the damned point."

There seemed to be more to this than Thal was letting on, though he seemed to be ready to say exactly why it was a big deal. "I ran away when I was ten to get away from shit like this, if I had wanted to be some mages pawn I would have stayed at home. But no Mizuki it's no big deal at all to force someone to do something against their will." He still had his fists clenched though he was keeping his distance from the other probably for a good reason.

"You have no idea what I went through to get away from that hell, the torture spells to pass templar training? They were nothing in compared, hell half of them I had been through before." He still looked ready to strike if Mizuki made the slightest movement but he probably wouldn't. "Now if your damn well pleased with yourself.. I don't accept your word and you should probably leave."

He turned and started to walk from Mizuki. He was done talking, it didn't matter. Hell what did it matter the other didn't care, if he did than this wouldn't have happened. Though he did forget to mention the mage he spoke of was his father and pretty much for most of those years he was aware of what was going on but had no say in what his body did. Hell was a understatement.

Pinkie 12-07-2012 04:22 AM

Mizuki groaned as he was forced into the wall. This was different though he allowed the male to speak. Mizuki glad that all he got so far was shoved into the wall. He knew that there could be much worse things. Though this was last on his mind as he heard the words Thalion all but yelled in his face.

Mizukis ears went back as he began to walk away and the words began to sink in but the more they did the more Mizuki began to get angry. This was when he yelled at the retreating male "How the hell was I to know that?" He said "You keep your past and feelings so locked away" He said in a growl his ears dipping back "Hell I know nothing of my past but it dose not rule me like it seems to for you" He hissed out.

Mizuki had a feeling that he would regret his words but it was to late to take them back now. "And dont take my word...seems nothing matters to you...or did" He said before turning not giving a shit what the male did as he huffed with his fist balled and his other still holding the staff in hand.

Rosekitten 12-07-2012 04:51 AM

Mizuki was right, he couldn't have known about his past. No one could have other than the fact he didn't like magic in the least. It had nothing to do with it ruling him, but it was a fear. One that he had for years that he was going to be forced back into that same situation. It had taken everything just to get out the first time let alone trying again. Either way he wasn't thinking that logical at the moment. No he was still in a slight panic at the fact that after all of these years he had let something like this happen. Or rather he couldn't stop it in the least.

He never breathed a word as Mizuki said what he wanted to say and started to walk away. He could say a lot of things but the fact that he was still too fired up about all of it to bother saying anything that Mizuki wanted to hear. So instead he stayed quiet. He should just let the other walk away,, it'd be better this way right? Every time he turned around it seemed they were at ends with one another. Also for the time being he didn't want to be bothered by anyone.

In truth he was more hurt than anything, but he'd never admit it willingly. Out of all the people he though Mizuki would be the last one to do something like this even without knowing his past. Sure he should go after the other but not at the moment. Not while he still had this much of his temper and knew that there was more than a chance of his magic getting out of hand. No instead he started walking the other way, away from the direction Mizuki was going in. Was it so damn wrong to have a fear still after all of these years? He had no idea what it was like to watch each day pass and have no say in what you did.

Though it was about that time a sudden jolt of pain ran through him nearly making him fall to his knees. He had kept himself up with a hand on the closest wall before he laughed a little to himself. "Perfect.. just what I needed on top of it all..." Had to act up now didn't it? He should have taken care of sealing his magic off first thing, but with the flux of emotions and the fact they were still not under control it wasn't helping his magic in the least.

Pinkie 12-07-2012 09:58 AM

Mizuki tried and failed. It hurt to know that his words meant nothing to the male before him. He knew that what he did would get anger but he never expected something like this. No he didnt so what could he do? He tried to fix it but Thalion was not having anything of it and that made Mizuki hurt but also angry at the same time. Whatever though if the male wanted time to himself that is what he was going to get.

Making his way to the tent Mizuki didnt think twice as he grabbed different herbs and supplies as he packed a pack of things. He didnt take food or water the only thing that he took with him was herbs and some things to use for mixing. Along with that he grabbed a cloak and placed it over his shoulders with the hood on.

Thalion didnt trust his word and seemed to hate him so what was the point in staying where he was not wanted? No it didnt make sense to him besides he was done being the kings puppet. Walking he went to Lunas tent and he entered having the female look up. Seeing the cloak and pack she sighed "It went that well huh" She asked with a tilt of her head "We are leaving" He stated before turning and leaving the tent.

He didnt have to fear that Luna was still in the tent he knew that the female would fallow no matter how far he got. He needed to get away from this place to leave and never come back it was silly of him to think that the words of love from the male were true. No instead it was falseness and lies just to please him. Shaking his head Mizuki frowned as he continued to walk. He was done with this place.

Rosekitten 12-07-2012 04:23 PM

Felix noticed Mizuki come back and that he seemed to grab his things and all but up and leave. Surely this was a joke, but he knew better. Go figure a elf would leave right before the final battle. They wondered why elves and humans were commonly at odds? But it wasn't time to think about that, so long as Thal held things together they had some odds of winning right? Maybe Mizuki was the smart one in leaving. Saving himself the fate of defeat.

Probably later he would think he over reacted, though he would hardly have the chance later to think about such things. No it seemed he would have to deal with a number of other things before he'd be given the chance to think on anything at all. No it wasn't even hours after Mizuki left that the camp wasn't under attack.

Things were hardly in good order, this attack was far more planned and there was a new addition to the mix. It seemed the whole war was lead by the drow against the current king. Like they were trying to break from the kingdom. That was exactly what they were going to do. Enabling treaties with the orcs, some out laying human settlements in poor standing with the current king. Among other races were the goblins, dark dwarfs and shadow fae. There were others as well but what did it matter?

Not too many days after the attack on the camp was pushed back did the main army assault the remains of the camp. Still in the process of rebuilding defenses and tending to the wounded from the last fight there was no real way that they were going to win. Even without the first assault the numbers were far greater than reports had first said. It took no time to overthrow the settlement and destroy any moral that was left as a glimmer of hope the battle could be won.

This was where the real battle would begin. The races of light against the forces of dark. Maybe the old saying that had been spoke of was true. If it was there was no real way for just two to over throw armies and to force the lands to join together again. No this was the war that would force the lands to be torn apart and to put once allies against the other.

Pinkie 12-07-2012 05:35 PM

Mizuki had heard of the attack shortly after he left. The news reached pointed ears and it took everything in his power to not go back and aid what he used to care for. No instead he stayed away. This then was about the time that he got wind of who attacked the camp. In shock Mizuki did the one thing he could, gather men. It would take time but it needed to be done.

It did take time seven years to be exact. Now he lead a resistance of wood elven, dragonkin, light faes as well as humans and some different races here and there. Not knowing why things turned out the way they did Mizuki did the only thing he knew of now, fighting.

After he left Mizuki trained. Hand to hand was never his strong point and now it was no longer his weekness. Combining magic with hand to hand he was a force to know and many did but not by uis name. No instead he was knowen around the lands as the white reaper with his men and women killing any drow or kings fallower they could.

Their camp was south in a valley that was covered by a large over hang of trees. Here they did most of their planning and attacks. Mizuki was currently in a large tent over looking some maps though this is when he sighed as pale fingers ran over the place he last saw Thalion. Mizuki did noy know if the male lived through the battle and this thoght crushed his heart years ago. Now he was cold and ruthless not caring what happened.

Standing from the chair he was in Mizuki walked over and began going through what herbs he had when he heard a voice behind him "sir we caight a drow scout" came the words. Mizuki turned and looked to the human "we have been at the torture for hours but hes not giving" at this Mizuki sighed "they eventually all give in" he said with a nod "take me to him" he said before fallowing the male out of his tent.

Rosekitten 12-07-2012 06:00 PM

Seven years, never knowing if Mizuki was still alive or not. It was almost painful at times to think that if he hadn't of been so damn stuck in his ways or maybe if he admitted for once that he was fearful of something... maybe things would have turned out differently. Or maybe not, there was no way to really know for sure now.

During the whole time he had been forced to follow orders, that or die. So between his two choices it seemed being a obedient dog was the better choice. Not like his skills with weapons went unnoticed. Though his magic didn't either, being forced to train with it so he could use it. Even than he tried everything in his power not to use it let lone to keep it bound. Though the bindings were getting more and more complex as time went on and lasting a shorter amount of time. If not causing side effects that would sooner or later catch up to him.

But at the moment none of that mattered. No he had found himself a captive of one of the larger camps. He never meant to get caught by one of the main forces scouting groups. Sure he had been caught a few times but the smaller settlements were easy enough to get free of. This one had all the stops though. Magic bindings prevented using any to escape, let alone there was heavy guard in the area. Yep he was in a bit of a pickle with this one.

After one of the humans left to report that they were getting no where the second one gave him a rather cheap shot to the ribs. Not that all of these weren't cheap seeing as he was unable to defend himself. They were lucky in that part. If he was free... these two that had been prodding and tormenting hi for the past few hours would not be alive. Though on the same note he was glad they had taken all the stops in binding him. For the time being he didn't have to worry about his magic because the cuffs canceled it. Plus the fact he couldn't see, no that he was thankful for.

His eyes had easily reverted back to the dark as he had spent most of the seen years in the tunnels and depths. So day time he was hardly pleased with and last he recalled these camps stayed overly lit so he'd have a bit of a disadvantage. At the least it didn't feel like he wanted to rip his eyes out like the last camp. If they had put any more light in that one room...

Though it seemed that the human was done with him for the moment as footsteps could be heard. Great what now? surely they had to know by now they were not getting what little information he had. Though they were probably counting on there being a lot. pff he wasn't normally the one sent on scouting duty though.

Pinkie 12-07-2012 08:15 PM

Mizuki sighed as he entered the room where the male was kept. There he was bound with a sack over his head to prevent him from seeing anything. Right away his face went hard as he lookd at the male. Judging by the way the male breathed he was used to things like this. Now that was sad in its self. Being used to being tortured for information was one thing Mizuki didn't like and lucky for him he had drones for that.

So how should he go about this? Mizuki thought for a moment or two before waving his hand and dismissing the human. Walking over to the male he gave a swift punch to the others ribs. Over the years he grew stronger so he knew that heard though he was pleased when he didnt get a grunt of pain.

Hmm this was going to be interesting. Moving over to a table of supplies Mizuki looked them all over before picking one up. Mizuki said nothing as he walked over with the little blade. Without a moments hesitation he drove it into the males thigh and almost smiled at the hiss of pain he got.

Mizuki stayed there doing little things to the male before him for hours but all he was getting were groans of pain and hissed though from the looks of things the male before him was dying. That was no fun and Mizuki was growing tired of this. Fine if he didnt want to talk he would get what he wanted another way.

Casting his spell he moved over to the male and placed his hand on a dark bloody cheat. He was going through the males mind and he could tell from the struggeling that the male didn't like it. Mizuki was about to give up when a memory made him stop and jerk his hand back "it can't be..." He said lightly as he removed the sack and gasped "...thalion...." Was all ge said.

Rosekitten 12-07-2012 10:44 PM

He figured this would be over soon enough. Especially after the humans seemed to give up. Though he was wrong to say the least. No instead he seemed to get someone else to prod and question him, this one seemed to have a bit more power than the other two and seemed to know exactly what to do to get someone to talk. Well a normal person anyway.

Over all of the years Thal had been through his fair share of being bound and beaten or wounded, cut prodded and tormented. Nothing this one could do would make him spill any useful information he had. Not that he had much of that actually. No he had camp locations and where the leader of the opposing force was located but that was about it. Ok maybe that was a bit useful but still. Whoever this was.. was not getting that information even if he did hate his own kind.

Though after being stabbed, he lost count how many times, and being asked the same question along with random ones he never bothered to answer. He still never gave the other what he wanted. Hell by now he felt his vision fading form the blood loss and he could tell the other was getting fed up with this fight. It amused Thal, well what little he could muster.

Though he was not counting on his keeper here to be a mage. Of all things to kill him a mage. The gods really did hate him didn't they? Even s he wasn't going to give this one what he was after. Though he might have little choice as he felt the prodding of his thoughts, it was painful to say the least. Going over someones memories and forcing things like this. But even with the new trick, Thal was fighting with everything he had, he was going to make the mage work for the information he sought.

Whatever the reason he ended up thinking about Mizuki. Probably in the fact he knew he was as good as dead and would never get the chance to tell the other it was his fault. If he had just talked to the other maybe things would be different. Than again maybe not? What did it matter now he could hardly think let alone - Wait why did the mage pull back? Whatever the reason he wasn't sure if he was grateful or not. At this rate he just wanted them to end it or to just leave him to die seeing as he hadn't given them anything yet and never would.

Though when the other spoke and pulled the sack off Thal wasn't sure if what he was seeing was Mizuki or not. Combination of the sack covering his eyes for hours and the returned sensitivity made it more than hard to see from the sudden light. Though when the other spoke again and said his name Thal knew for sure it was, but it was funny wasn't it? The gods indeed were cruel with their fates they wished upon their pawns.

Something dawned on him that Mizuki had said seven years ago, his word to not make the other or rather use magic to force him to do something. It was funny to him now and it was the only thing that came to mind as he spoke. "So much. for your.. word heh.." Referring to something the other probably forgot about but still. Least he got a bit of a laugh before he died right? Though that was all he managed before blacking out, not like he could fight more if he had wanted to.

Mizuki was in shock after all these years here Thalion was alive and right before him but close to death...and because of him. No! He was not going to let tgis happen though his thoughts ended the momwnt he heard the male speak. His word? Mizuki had to think about that for a moment then he remembered what made him leave in the first place and his ears dipped back. Yes he did break his word though in all fairness he did not know it was Thalion before him.

Mizuki shook his head he couldnt aford to think of things like that now not when there was a life infront of him that he had to save. Quickly he went to work and began healing the deeper more threatening wounds first. Next he removed the males bindings and picked him up. Holding Thalion to his chest in his arms Mizuki stood tall as he left the room.

Walking he could already hear the whispers. The men around him calling him mad. Mizuki didnt care. No all he cared about was getting Thalion healed and rested. Taking the male to his tent he didnt care of anything as he placedbThalion down on his bed the whiteness of it turning red. Begining his work he grabbed herbs with his magic. As things flew around the room he spoke "I'm so sorry..." He said as he began cleaning and dressing wounds "i thought you were dead...and here you are alive...barely because of me" he spoke to a limp body "please live" was his last words as hr continued.

Rosekitten 12-08-2012 12:09 AM

He knew there was no way Mizuki would have known it was him. This was war after all in all fairness Mizuki should just go ahead and kill him to get it over with. Not that he could voice his thought on it at the present time.

It truth he didn't remember being unchained let alone moved. His eyes had opened once but that was after Mizuki had already moved him. He swore the other was talking but it was hard to make out the words. Sorry? For what, doing his job, for getting revenge after all of these years. Hell if he asked Thal would say he deserved this fate.

Even as Mizuki worked and did everything he could to prevent Thal from dying, he had already accepted that his fate was sealed. There was no way he would wake up from this. That was his thoughts at least. But he got to know at least that Mizuki was ok, even if he never got to say it was his fault.

It wasn't really that much of a shock that Thal wasn't waking up right away. Heck the fact he was breathing was a feat on its own. But Mizuki had caught everything just in time. If all went well than he'd pull through.

Pinkie 12-08-2012 01:16 AM

Mizuki kept at his work and for the next week he didnt leave the tent. Orders for the men were given through Luna who found out why he didnt leave. She was in shock to over the whole thing. The fates were hateful and loved to watch pawns suffer. With the two of them it did not seem they could catch a break. That was Mizukis thinking as he sat there beside Thalion on the edge of the bed that held the recovering male.

Mizuki was currently changing a bandage on the males upper arm when there was a noise at the front of the tent "You need to rest to you know" Luna said as she entered. "No good if you keel over to" She said as she walked over to the other side of the bed "I can watch him while you sleep" Luna said looking to him with simpithedic eyes.

Mizuki sighed a little "I know but I cant" He said "I caused this...all of this" He said as he finished rapping the males arm before he bent over and placed a tired head on a thankfully breathing chest of Thalion below him. "I cant rest...not until he wakes up" He said with a sad whisper his ears dipping back and down.

Mizuki was glad that his head was turned away from Luna and into the fresh bandaged arm. He hated these moments. They were rare to see and Luna herself had only seen it once before though she knew what was wrong the moment a shudder ran through Mizukis body. He was crying. A rare show of emotion on his behalf but he couldnt help it. He was afraid that he killed the only man he could or would ever love.

No he couldnt think like that but it was the truth. Moving his head he rested it higher up so it was on the males shoulder with Mizuki all but laying down with the other male. Rapping his arm around a strong chest he whispered into the males neck "I love you Thalion...you cant leave me" He said in a whimper "Not like this" Mizuki moved his head deeper into the males neck "I still need you"

Rosekitten 12-08-2012 02:15 AM

He had no way of knowing he had been out for a week. Also missing would be a good term as the last few days someone had been trying to find his location. Though they were doing a poor job of it. Well until today anyways, he had been slowly coming in and out of it for the past day or so. Hearing things or rather he thought he heard things.

Though he hardly wanted to move. By this time Mizuki had moved from the bed side but it was only to get more wrappings and herbs so that wasn't very far. But it was probably a good thing that he wasn't too close seeing as the one trying to contact Thal finally managed to get through to him. 'So this is what my pet has been up to... how did you manage to get out that far?'

The laugh from that woman was something he would kill to never hear again as she made sure he wasn't dead with a quick reminder of what happened last time he tried to run from her. He sat up a bit too quickly and soon became very aware of that mistake on his part as he panted a little to try to ignore the sudden pain that ripped through him.

Ok bright lights.. he was still at that damned camp.. what the hell happened after he blacked out? Surely he knew they'd dispose of him. Wait Mizuki was there right or did he lose it at the last moment before fading. He would have checked around the room if he felt like he could move again anyway. It was all he could do to sit there doubled over from the sudden jerk let alone to do anything else.

Pinkie 12-08-2012 02:27 AM

Mizuki had his back towards Thalion as he put the tea on. He needed to keep his energy up if he was to stay awake until Thalion awoke. Pouring his cup he turning and walked back to the bed. Staring down at his steaming cup he brought it to his lips as he looked up. Though the cup never reached his lips as it fell through his fingers and crashed to the ground.

Was he seeing what he was seeing? "Your awake..." He whispered before his eyes opened "Your awake..." He said again before moving. From one moment to the next he was beside Thalion. Looking at the males face he saw it laced with pain. Mizuki knew what to to "I will be right back" He said as he darted from the room and grabbed something from the other room.

Comming back he moved in and didnt think twice as he moved behind Thalion. Bringing the male back onto his chest Mizuki gently moved him. "Sorry..." He said as he moved what he grabbed and placed it within Thalions mouth under his tongue. "It will ease your pain" He explained lightly as he looked down into a dark face.

Next Mizuki raised a hand and with a simple wave of his hand in the air the candles and oil lamps around the room dimmed but did not go out leaving a soft glow around them "I am so happy your awake" He said looking down into Thalions face as his grew soft and his ears bent back "Im so sorry...for everything" He said with a whimper.

Rosekitten 12-08-2012 03:02 AM

Awake was a word for it yes, though he was debating if he would rather be dead or not. Great he wasn't even safe when he was probably as close to death as he ever wanted to be? What took her so long to find him though, it felt like he had been out of it a while by how stiff he was. Maybe he had been worse off than he first thought even, that or being that weak she couldn't find him.

The cup falling to the ground caught his attention that someone else was even there as he heard the person speak. Mizuki? oh great not only did he not feel like moving he was stuck with Mizuki now? Knowing his luck the other was still ticked at him for what happened seven years ago. Fates were cruel weren't they. Though after the other seemed to leave to get something it did dawn on him that Mizuki was probably the reason he was even breathing still.

Though he was hardly expecting Mizuki to do what he did, let alone to say sorry afterwards. Sorry for what? Hell this was his own fault. For shoving him away seven years ago for being caught this time. Maybe in a way it was a good thing he was caught, he'd never know otherwise if the other was alive. At the same time he couldn't stay here and he knew it.

Though to admit it he was more than glad Mizuki dimmed the lights. It was hard enough to figure out what the hell was going on and the pain that he was in let alone to have to deal with the lighting for the moment. Though when Mizuki spoke again that he was happy he was awake. He was almost about to ask why, seven years ago he wouldn't have thought twice about him dying so why worry about it now?

He didn't though so when Mizuki spoke again he shook his head a little. Ok got it everything hurt to move even a little. Well this was a blast for sure. "For what.. my own fault for this one." Not like Mizuki had done anything wrong. He was getting information form the enemy as he should have been doing. In truth Thal wanted to say a number of things but he couldn't at he moment still trying to recover from the the sudden waking he had.

He had missed this though, just being with Mizuki he knew he had missed the other. Yet he couldn't even stay with him now that he knew he was still alive If he stayed here too long it'd just put Mizuki in danger and that was the last thing he needed to. Even if Mizuki could handle himself he doubted they could take on a full scale army if she figured out that he was located in one of the larger camps of the enemy.

Pinkie 12-08-2012 03:22 AM

Mizuki gave a half smile at that. yes it was his fault but at the same time "I could removed the sack sooner" He said "If I had you would not of neerly died...and I would of been the cause" He said his ears dipping back as he closed his eyes "All these years I thought you were dead" He said lightly before opening his eyes again "After I left I got word of the attack" He said lightly. "If I would of knowen I would of stayed....helped"

Mizuki sighed a little as he hunched over some "After that I didnt know if you were alive or dead...I didnt know what to do" He said with a little laugh "So I began to gather people. Elven, fae, humans...Luna got her dragonkin and before I knew it" He said "I became leader of the resistance" He said with a shake of his head.

"One thing became another and so many lives lost" He said sadly with a sigh. Looking at Thalion with a sad face "I am so sorry for what I did all those years ago" He said his eyes tearing a little "I should have never did what I did...but it happened and I have regretted it since the day I left" Mizuki moved down and lightly brushed his lips on the males forehead before pulling back "Sorry..." He said turning his head to the side "I...shouldnt of done that"

Rosekitten 12-08-2012 03:44 AM

He listened to the other though it was funny really. Not like anything would have been different if he had been there anyway. "it wouldn't have mattered... the force we had was over run within a day." Everything was against the troops that day. Defenses were down, numbers were at the least five to one if not more. Nope it wouldn't have mattered in the least.

He would have laughed that out of all the people Mizuki was leading the very force he was suppose to be fighting. "Heh..I had heard rumors it as lead by a mage, I think that was the only reason I was kept alive and not killed on sight as a traitor seven years ago." Getting a hold of those with abilities to kill mages were not all that common, they could be taught but that wasn't a easy task. Probably rumor of the force being lead by a mage was why he wasn't left to rot.

Though his thought stopped as Mizuki said sorry for what happened seven years ago. Why was he sorry, it was his fault not Mizuki's. "Mizuki.. it wasn't your fault." He breathed out a little trying to figure out the least amount of words to use to explain this seeing as it hurt to breath let alone anything else. "You were right back than... I should have told you before. Or I should have just ignored it." He wasn't sure where that little speech he had prepared to say to the other went but this was the best he could muster at the moment.

"I can't stay here though..." He finally said after a few moments. "It wouldn't do any good for her to figure out where the resistance leader is.." He was talking of the one leading the other fore. She had only added to his hatred of magic to say the least. Being able to force her way into his thoughts as she pleased. A small symbol on the back of his neck ensured that she could find him so long as he drew breath. It was rather dark magic and if she poured enough energy into it than she could control the holder of this mark as well.

Pinkie 12-08-2012 03:56 AM

"Well you are in no shape to go anywhere" He said looking down at the male in his arms. Mizuki frowned "What are you not telling me?" He asked with a tilt of his head as he looked at Thalion though judging from the look on Thalions face he could only guess what was wrong "Thalion...let me help you" He said looking to the male "All these years with out you I am not letting you go so easy" He said with a stern look on his face.

It was true though. The last thing that he wanted to do was to have Thalion leave but if he knew anything of the army he was fighting there was alot of female drows and if that was the case Mizuki could only wonder what could happen. That was when Mizuki got a thought how would they find out where he was just from Thalion being here? Then a light bulb clicked.

This was when Mizuki began looking over the males body before him ignoring the protests as he moved from behind him and forced the male about. Mizuki needed to be sure it was not what he thought it was but when he found the mark at the nape of the males neck he hissed "Fuck...thats not good" He said looking at the mark. How did he not notice it!

"Has the caster found you yet?" He asked kneeling down "Thanlion answer me!" He said as he placed two fingers on the nape and began his spell. He couldnt remove it but he could place his own seal over it blocking the other from view "I know I said I would never do this again but its better then everyone dying" He said

Rosekitten 12-08-2012 04:30 AM

He knew he wasn't but staying here was risking the one person he still cared about, he didn't want that. If she ever found that out... It was her goal to ensure anything that anyone enjoyed about their life was ripped away. His ears went back a little as Mizuki said there was something he wasn't telling him. Wasn't that the truth... Though it hurt more when the other said let him help. He couldn't, even Mizuki couldn't stand up to the full force of a army with what he had gathered. There was something else that backed that woman and it wasn't just the mortal races.

He didn't answer Mizuki fast enough before the other seemed to figure out one of the few ways for this place to be in danger form Thal merely being there. Though he could have just asked instead of the sudden panic attack he seemed to have. "No, I mean I don't think so. I was out remember? I know for sure she didn't with that last attempt ... but theres nothing to say she didn't find out while I wasn't able to fight her."

He was not going to enjoy this. The first time it was painful, over writing a spell he didn't think would be a pleasant feeling in the least. But he might as well add it to the list of things hurting at the moment. "Well get on with it." He said knowing that it was their only real option. He hated this thought but it was true, if he had died this wouldn't be a issue at the moment. It made it all the worse that he had his past that came back to haunt him, one he had run from years ago and not it was putting Mizuki in danger just for keeping him alive.

"If she did track me, just kill me. I know it sounds cruel but she won't rest till either she finds me or my corpse. Even then there is a chance she'll just reanimate it." Mizuki wanted to know why he hated magic? Because all wielders she had come across were evil. Hell because of her he couldn't seal his own magic and he had lost track of the close calls he had with it in the past years.

Pinkie 12-08-2012 10:47 PM

Mizuki knew that replacing the seal would cause some pain but the bundle of herbs he placed under the males tongue awhile ago should ease most of it. Mizuki was about to place the seal as Thalion spoke again "No...we have ways of avoiding things like that" He said as he placed the seal noticing the wince that he got as he did.

After a moment or two it was done and the seal was placed. Standing Mizuki yelled for a guard that was at the front of his tent "Gather me the mages" He said "And put a word out to the men we are on lock down. No one is to leave this berrier" He said with a stern look and he got a "yes sir" From the male before he darted off.

Mizuki then walked over to a table that had different herbs and stones on it before picking one up and walking over with some rappings. "This will help you gather your energy faster" He said "I couldnt use it till you woke...after a week I was unsure if you would ever wake" He said with a sigh before walking over.

He went to put it on Thalions arm but he stopped at the males protest "Its not bad thing...just an energy crystal" Mizuki said with a sigh "It will not cause any harm I promise you that" He said and even with the look he got he placed it on the males arm and held it there with the wrap. Mizuki stood back after that just as a sound was heard at the door.

Turning he walked a little ways towards it before saying enter. That was when six light elven entered the tent. All had different staffs and colors showing there element "Alright now listen up. We are on lock down" He spoke "Mind placement has been in the camp and I fear the person may know our location" Mizuki said with a sigh "I want double watches at the main posts. They are not to be empty. Some one should be on watch at all times" Mizuki said "Pair up and take shifts we cant loose any men"

This was when Mizuki looked to one of them "Elena I need you to cloak us and cloak us good" He spoke to her "I do not want to be found even by one of our own men" Mizuki said before ordering the mages gone then the guard back in "Sent word to all patrols and bring them back to the camp" He said before turning and heading back to Thalion the guard already gone.

Rosekitten 12-08-2012 11:46 PM

It wasn't till after the new seal was placed did he think on how bad of a idea this was. Mizuki was the last person he wanted able to be near his thoughts... In fact he'd rather no one be near his thoughts. But that seemed impossible to avoid now. Let alone such prodding could be done rather easily if the other so wished it. But for now he didn't voice any concern on that as Mizuki seemed to be sure that they had means to avoid being detected or at least found out further.

"A what? I was out for a week?" Oh that was fantastic. For sure that damned witch knew where he was if she had a week to toy with things. Damn it all, as if he didn't have enough he was dealing with now he had put Mizuki and this whole little operation in danger. Or maybe that was just his other half talking again, over the course of seven years he had reverted a bit to accepting that he had to take orders, let alone his true place in the pecking order of things.

But that thought died as soon as the 'mages' as Mizuki had requested showed up. The glares alone were enough to choke someone, oh this was going to be fun if he had to stay here too long. Mizuki had been here the whole time hadn't he? Thal wasn't completely stupid, he could tell that Mizuki was running on little sleep if any and even barking orders he seemed to be fatigued.

Once things were settled a little Thal figured it was fair to restate what he said earlier. "I meant what I said earlier... If she finds this place kill. Odds are she'll fall back and look for a different plan of attack. It seemed that the king wasn't the only one who believed in such tales of old.." Her purpose of keeping him alive was because of that legend. Though she didn't want them to follow true to the words though, no eternal darkness was her goal.

Though Thal already knew the protest or the disagreement he was going to get from what he had been told. It was also the fact if he ended up back in hr grasps he wasn't sure how much longer he could fight her. Seven years to a elf is next to nothing in time, but it was plenty of time for her to toy with him and force him to submit, only a few things had kept him from breaking completely over the years. One was standing here now, the most important one anyway.

Pinkie 12-09-2012 12:03 AM

"Will you just stop!" He said looking to Thalion as the male spoke again about killing him "I did not rest or eat for a week to keep you alive just to kill you in the end" Mizuki said with a shake of his head "You need to trust me Thalion...trust me on this" He said "I have kept this location for years and I am not about to loose it now" He said with a growl looking to him.

Mizuki sighed a little his ears dipping back "I know what I am doing having to do so many times" He said with a frown on his face "Let me be the one to save your life for once" He spoke to him "When your healed and I remove both those seals you can do as you wish" He stated "Leave or stay" He said before turning and leaving the male to his own. He had some things to take care of and he couldnt put them off any longer

Rosekitten 12-09-2012 12:13 AM

He didn't speak as Mizuki was telling him to stop. He couldn't, the other didn't understand and he couldn't explain it to him just yet. Even as Mizuki said let him be the one to save his life for once and that it would be his choice to stay or leave. In a way he was glad the other left,it was good timing as the thought dawned on him again as to why he wasn't opposed to death.

His ears went back a little as he sighed. Defeated was a word, sure he could defy the leader of the dark army that was looking to choke if not kill all light. But she had already doomed his fate even without the seal. Forced use of magic over seven years would sooner or later take its toll. It was a matter of time and he already knew of two times that he had lost control of his will as it was. Next time he wouldn't be able to pull himself back and that was what he was worried about.

Even if he wanted to stay here he couldn't. It was better for him to leave right? Mizuki had a bigger purpose in this, he had to lead this force to defeat the enemy. Even without worrying that he might lose grasp on his powers again he doubted it was going to look well on his keeping a dark elf in the camp. He had already caused trouble for the other, it could have been avoided. Over all it was just hard to accept he might have a chance through all of this. He had seen what happened to the other forces who opposed the shadow army, as most had come to call it.

Pinkie 12-09-2012 12:55 AM

Mizuki prepared everything that was needed to reinforce the camp "You should be resting" Luna said behind him and Mizuki glared at her "In a time like this I should be resting?" He asked her with a growl though she looked at him the same way "Yes you should be" She said. Over the years Luna was the only one to know Mizuki for Mizuki and not the cold mage alot knew of.

Mizuki sighed lightly "I cant there is way to much to do" He said rubbing his eyes. Luna looked to him "You blame yourself for this...dont you?" She asked and he sighed again "I sat with him night and day for a week and I didnt notice it...not once" He said hanging his head as his ears dipped back "Now hes going on about killing him and making things easy"

Mizuki shook his head at that "You know how much I regretted that day" He said "Then not knowing if he was alive or dead then to save his life just for him to tell me to kill him" He shook his head "I cant...does that make me selfish?" He asked looking towards her and Luna shook her head "No" She said "It means you still love him" She said with a nod of her head.

Yes it was true. No matter what took place between those two Mizukis feelings would never change and that was a fact. "We need to keep the camp safe" He said looking back at the maps "We will retreat the main camp in two days time" He said "Send word to Ren that papa's coming home" He said with a nod of his head.

Truth of the matter was where Mizuki was indeed was not the main camp. No it was a stationary camp to kill as many forces as he could. Mizuki in total had men in the thousands around the area. He made it his goal to get whoever he could that would fight the shadow that was coming fast.

Rosekitten 12-09-2012 01:12 AM

He should be resting and he knew it, the sooner he was rested the sooner he could leave. Not that he had any idea at all where he would go. Avoiding that she devil was one of his top priorities. Though he honestly didn't want to leave. Staying was selfish though. Mizuki had gotten alone fine, no more than fine over the years. He didn't have to worry about anything happening to him.

Not like he could sleep, the pick up in noise and his thoughts being rather scattered as to what he needed to do or tell the other. The least Mizuki knew the better, or easier it would be to leave. Yes the other had saved his life but what did it matter if he was cursed to die sooner or later. If he was that doomed why not try to take her out himself?

At worse she caught him alive again, and did what? She had done everything to try to destroy what will he had left as it was. Least he'd be useful then, if she was removed from power the other side would fall a part surely. Ok even he knew that was a stupid plan. But after all of it what did it matter? If he failed well he could figure out something. Though maybe he was thinking too much..

Pinkie 12-09-2012 11:14 PM

The days went by and the camp was okay. Guards kept watch twenty four seven as Mizuki kept the men going. Later that week the camp was bundled and the hike began. It was time to join the main army and boy did Mizuki have some thngs for the male. Mizuki was currently sitting at the head of a buggy guiding the horse as Thalion sat beside him with a blanket around the male much to his protest.

Three days had past and the fourth was just ending as the glow from the lights of the main camp came into view over the hill side. Night time was fast approaching and Mizuki smiled "I forgot to tell you but I have somethings for you when we reach the camp" He said with a smile and a nod of his head though when Thalion asked he shook his head "You will see" He said with a smile.

It took a little while longer before they pulled in. Humans, dragons, elvens, faes, and more littered the grounds but one stuck out as he pulled to a stop infront of Luna "Hello and welcome home master Mizuki" She said with a smile before looking to Thalion "And you are a sight for sore eyes..." She said with a smile.

Rosekitten 12-09-2012 11:30 PM

He had protested to being dragged along to be honest. It wasn't like he had done Mizuki any favors recently. Probably killing more than a few of the other's men while having to follow that witches orders. But he soon gave up on getting out of being dragged alone. Mizuki insisted that he needed to avoid going off on his own and just because he could walk didn't mean he could fight. Not that he could disagree with this.

Once they were closer to the main camp Mizuki spoke, though he wasn't sure if he liked the whole he'd see part at the end. Something told him he wouldn't be enjoying this as much as Mizuki expected him to. Even once they were in the camp it was a bit hard to believe in truth. He should be dead by all accounts, but yet here he was. Let alone seeing someone he remembered from back seven years. Of course the dragonkin was alive, though normally he would give her some quick witted remark but he didn't. It was odd indeed for him to just nod a little keeping his mouth shut.

Though he wasn't going to get very far before a few others noticed who was with Mizuki. He had hardly touched the ground as someone picked him up and nearly crushed what life he had left out of him. "By the gods man! You!! Out of all the odds your still alive you damned crazy elf." Felix seemed happy enough, sure reports said they ad a drow with them but he'd never dream it was the one that a number of the units from that day owed their lives to.

Verdia wasn't too far off as she sighed a little and tapped Felix on the shoulder. "You might want to let him breath... whats the point of bring him here alive if your going to kill him before they are even in the gates." Felix took the hint and released Thal though he had to steady him seeing as he was trying to catch him breath back as well as the recovery process from before was hardly over with. Though Verdia knew something was wrong right away as her ears went back and she watched her sibling. He had hardly spoken, even when he was hurt before he had a smart mouth.

Pinkie 12-09-2012 11:41 PM

Mizuki smiled at the scene but frowned at Thalions reactions. Normally the male was so open and forward but now he was standing there simply nodding his head and that was about it. Was he not happy to see the ones he knew and loved? Mizuki shook his head but he didnt get a moment to think as a shriek was heard and it took everything in his balance to not fall over.

"PAPA!" Was the words he heard as he smiled "Hello beautifull." He said with a smile looking to the young girl in his arms. She was ten years in age with pale skin but long black hair. She was human and laughed as Mizuki picked her up. "Neena this is Thalion" He said showing her to the male and the young lady smiled "Papa talks about you alot!" She said with a smile "Nice to meet you" Were her next words before Mizuki put her on the ground.

"Why dont you and auntie Luna take Thalion to our tent so he can get some rest" He said looking down to her with a smile and she nodded "Make sure to feed him to my little chef" Looking up he looked to Thalion "I have to get the troups settled but I am sure it would be nice for you to catch up with everyone" He said witha nod before walking off.

Rosekitten 12-10-2012 12:00 AM

He had missed a lot didn't he? Though what could he say, in seven years a lot had changed. Though he never pictured Mizuki with a child though. It was cute in a way, least the two of them seemed happy with it Though it seemed the girl was a human so he was guessing her parents were killed off during the fighting. Though it seemed he was about to be stuck with her and Luna for the time being, so much for the thought of trying to escape from here without being noticed.

Felix said he had to go attend to some things as well but he was going to demand a tale of how he managed to live that day. Considering the shape he remembered seeing him in anyway. Verdia however said she would help Luna and Neena. She was worried to be honest, he was breathing yes but this was not the same sibling she had before. Whatever or whoever had gotten a hold of him had done something she thought impossible.

Once they were to the tent she made Thal sit and sort of glared at him a little but got no reaction at all. With that she sighed and started getting together some things for the wraps that probably needed tending to. Though she moved to the side as she did this and looked at Luna. "You know somethings wrong right? .. He's hardly spoken." She wanted to ask him who did this but ... she doubted if shed get a answer.

Luna sighed as she rubbed her stgomach a little looking to Thalion "Yes its sad indeed" She said with a nod of her head "It seems to me that something happened to break his spirits...the drow I knew would never be a whipped dog like he seems to be" She said a little under her breath. "You need to try and get through to him" She said before feeling a tug on her hand "Auntie we need to restock papas teas" Neena said and she smiled.

Luna nodded her head "We do dont we" She said with a smile "We also need to make his bed!" She said pointing to Thalion and Luna nodded his head "Yes yes...well lets go then" She said with a smile as the little girl ran towards the tent door "Talk to him..." Luna said looking at verdia before moving to leave the tent.

Verdia nodded a little to agree with Luna. "He's always bounced back before, I never thought I'd see the day that he was acting like any of the other males back home." Not all of them were this bad but none lasted too long acting as Thal normally did. She sighed a little as she finished preparing what she needed to before the other two left. Maybe he'd talk to her right? This was still her sibling after all, somewhere in there was still the Thal she knew that would fight against all odds.

Going over to him she went about working right away changing out the wrappings over wounds that were still healing. Magic had helped a lot in this process but even that only could go so far. Her ears dropped a little watching his face a moment. He was almost a shell of his former self, the fire that was always there in his eyes was missing. "Thal.. who did this.." She asked not expecting a answer as she was more talking to herself than anyone.

Either way she worked on each spot that needed tending too, all the while trying to get anything at all out of him. Even a insult at this rate. She was talking or at least trying to. Going over some things that had happened and that Mizuki worried more then he probably let on. She was trying to be positive but that was easier said then done. She was finished by now as she closed the small box and moved to place it on the counter.

"Oh Thal... did you finally give up fighting? All these years and you give up? What could possibly make you break like this.." She held a tone that hinted at sadness, yes she was female but that did not mean she wished ill on her sibling. "Priscilla" She quickly looked at him as she hissed a little. "Bitch... I'll kill her myself.." there was s story behind this woman, a long one indeed. But that would explain why he was the way he was, she probably pulled all the stops.
