I see your name is purple, I did not notice really before and I am not sure exactly what that means, like which kind of staff you are, but since I have your ear (when you come back) I would like to compliment you all on this site. I have only one slight issue with the site and it is not even a large issue or anything just a tiny one and that is the greenish background. I have gotten used to it but if I may put in a word for a different color on the grounds that avatars should have a more neutral background that would be great. But hey, maybe it would not be Trisphee were it not greenish. I am not sure what color it is but it looks like a green that wants to topple over into teal. An oceanic green one might say.

In 2 cities, actually. I can understand why my little brother would want to continue going to a school he's been going to for years, even after my family has moved, so I don't mind. It's also a good excuse for me because I love traveling. lol

Other than that, I need to get to drawing. There's like... 2 pictures I need to create. One's a comic and another is a character design. ...I still question my hubby's ability to depict good and bad art.

I might take it up after this one, but special colors in some shades aren't very favored by me. xD I will give it a try, though, but what happens if I forfeit, lol?

Oh my a lot of posts. Arikana I am horrible with color names. My husband who is a graphic artist always says I get them wrong. *cry* So you are a writer, that is wonderful. My new avatar is just purple and neutral colors I think which I like the colors quite well but I mixed up my purples no doubt. Ah I don't care. I never was one to match. I always got poor scoring for matching colors, lol.

Bwahaha. It can get confusing with all our colours for staff. @_@ But after a while, I find that it just grows on me. :3 But then again, I am the crazy sort that's on here a lot everyday. XD

My husband is a 2D/3D artist...he worked for Lucasarts for 8 years but is free lance now working for some small film companies here in Maryland. He works with programs like Maya and After Effects and some others. His forte is explosions and blood spatter. XD I am not sure if that is cg art or not, I am sorry. He can draw if that is what you mean but mostly he models things in 3D like spaceships or things like that. Sorry I don't know more about it actually.

Sorry for my delay in replying. I am working right now. I think I might need to attend more to what I am doing so my replies will become very sporadic. ^__^ Luckily I work from home so no one is watching me but it still takes my attention (I do online intraoperative monitoring).

No worries, I got stuff to do to, so my replies will probably be even slower since I don't like pausing until I get certain sets done and stuff. x.x

Well, I just don't have anywhere else to stuff the green on and the items are in shades they are. xD But thank you, Arikana. :) I was more worried about the light pink. xD

Well, except for pale gold and black, and my skin tone, they all are indeed special colors. It came together quicker than I though, hehe! XD And was quite fun to make. I think this challenge thing is growing on me.

It's interesting how minds work, I had thought dark blue, Cora went with light, and it looks awesome, even if tones are a bit different throughout the avatar. I like that avatar!

Also, Uma, let me reserve this space for epic omg flailing about how GORGEOUS your avatar is. *drool* That must be my favorite of yours! I would have never thought creamy and two shades of purple could look so AMAZING together. That backdrop with your avatar. Me is in avatar love.<3

And Uma, I've been sickly since childhood and went trough some serious illnesses, so, knowing what I had, I probably wouldn't be really around here, if I lived some centuries back and such.

Arikana, seems to me that explosions and blood spatter have similar properties to some extent so maybe that is why he is good at both. He has an affinity for water movement too. And yes, his job is a lot more fun than mine, but I do get to help some people which is very nice to be able to do. ^_^ And what do you mean by "sets"? Are you in school or working? I read your bio but actually I am not sure it said.

Cora you look very bright indeed! That is one strong avatar I must say. So you were at Gaia? Me too. I started there in early 2004, became a mod in 2005-2010, now I have stepped down to forum asst because it was just too much with my job and personal life. I have the same name, do look me up though actually I neglect my threads there horribly. *shame*

Xun has so many challenges or at least 2, so I will just say, good luck!

Sadrain you flatter me, really, you are so good with your avatars and so creative in ways I never could be. I can work with colors, though I am limited to just being able to work with 2 or 3 at a time. And every avi that you do is different in style and theme. I tend to copy myself. I may as well since I like what I do but I am not sure how much I grow or test my limits like you all here do.

I don't flatter people, I say what I think. All avatars you make are so ethereal and special, with gorgeous colors you put together in ways no one else can. It's not about absolute difference, and you are creative in ways I can't imagine also. I don't really see similarities between your avatars, beside backdrop and wings and that superb, elegant and frail style.

Ok on another note! I was thinking this weekend that we should have a small "Endeavor" (rather than a contest) and I am not sure how to work it. I have a "theme" only it is not a theme but just a set of colors to use and I propose that we all try our hand at it tomorrow. We don't even have to change, just take a picture from our own dress up page. I will then post them on the front page and we can discuss them. Shall I set up the Endeavor for tomorrow maybe?

And by "sets", I mean doing a certain amount of stuff at a time. So not just doing a tiny portion and then chatting on here, but rather doing a large amount and then taking a quick break to do whatever I want. :3 I hope that makes things clear.

I re-applied for college this year, since when I last applied a few years ago, after accepting and beginning that program, I realized it wasn't right for me and stopped. Now I know for sure that what I'm applying for this time is right for me, so I'm psyched and can't wait to start in September! :D However, I'll also be taking a couple individual courses starting this January and ending in April, as a means to not only learn about the stuff I'll be taking, but also to get back into the feel of studying.
