Mizuki stood there and listened to Thalion speak. In the back of his mind he knew the answer though he needed to hear it. And right now he was getting his wish as Thalion spoke about how he never stopped loving him or how he went through trouble for him. Mizuki questioned that one...what kind of trouble could he of been in? Though as he mentioned the box again Mizuki stopped a little.

Moving he headed towards Thalion before he reached out and stopped the male from leaving. Pale fingers grasped a dark arm as he stopped the male "I am sure I could change some minds if it came down to it" He spoke with a little smile. As Thalion turned towards him Mizuki gave him a soft smile "Some where deep down I knew all of it" He said lightly to him "Everything...just got to me Thalion..." He said again with a little frown "I am sorry for that...for doubting you" Mizuki said before he leaned in and kissed the male.

After a moment he pulled back with a smile "And you didnt have to get me anything you know...I am not staying here" He said with a smirk but he got some smart remark. Turning to the box Mizuki opened it though his smile fell as he looked at its contents. Turning his head after a moment he looked to Thalion. Mizuki was speachless "Thalion...I..." He began as he turned to the armor.

Taking out the chest plate he ran his fingers over the design of jewels. All of them matched his house color down to the studs around the arms. "Why..." He asked lightly "Why all the trouble...for me?" He asked as he put the plate over before he looked back into the box but he stopped again as the smaller box came into view. "A gift within a gift?" He asked looking to Thalion.

"I know you knew.. I think I've figured out that much about you at the least." He said laughing slightly though the kiss was unexpected as he smirked a little feeling a bit better about this though still having a bit of nerves issue. "Kissing me before you even looked in the box.. " He teased him before Mizuki finally moved towards the box again.

"I know I didn't have to... it's more that I wanted to." He did really, he would have made the armor sooner or later but this was more of a excuse to hide the smaller gift. He needed the time to get whatever he was going to say or how to ask or .. ok yeah he just needed it for his nerves. Even though he had a week and a half to prepare for this he had doubts that it would be rejected or something.

"Why?" He had to laugh at it. "Because I love you of course. Why else? Maybe a better question of why not?" Besides he wasn't going to say his thoughts on Mizuki's normal armor he wore. Though thats when he waited for something else to be noticed before he started blabbering like a damned idiot.

Well it was do or die now it seemed. "Yes in a way..." He said before walking over to where Mizuki was and removing the smaller box before opening it. "Actually I wanted to answer what I wanted with question." He said before turning the box around so Mizuki could see what was in it. Though he figured the other could have guessed what was coming or what was in the smaller box even.

"Mizuki Kinsaki will you marry me?" Ok that felt odd to say but he was glad it was out there. Though he was half holding his breath that he was going to say no or something. Also the fact he got thinking a bit too much in that he never knelt down or anything and he had spoiled this whole thing. Granted his kind didn't kneel when proposing, there was a whole other lore and legend behind that.

Mizuki as at a loss for words. He didnt know what to say well he did but... "Thalion..." He said softly as he looked down to the ring. It was beautiful and simple all in one. The gold set off by the white then the jewel of his house color in the center of it. It was everything and more then he could of hoped for.

Mizuki then all but lunged at Thalion. Rapping his arms around the male he sniffled "Yes...a thousand times over yes" He said as his arms tightened around the male. He was glad when he felt those arms rap around him and hugged him back just as tight. Mizuki sniffeld as he pulled back. A light brim of tears clouded now happy eyes.

Stepping back a little he watched as Thalion grabbed his hand and gently put the ring on his finger. It was a perfect fit. It was not loose and would not fall off but it was not tight so he couldnt move it. It rested against his skin like it was meant to be there.

"I love you Thalion..." He said as he leaned in and kissed the male. It was a slow deep one that lasted a little while. Pulling back after a moment Mizuki smiled at him "So...seems we are in for an interesting night" He said lightly with a little laugh "When I am required to do my speach...everyone will know" He said lightly.

Then Mizuki moved back "Which reminds me!" He said moving across the room to the other side where he grabbed a sword that was in a long black sheath. Walking over he smiled to Thalion "If your my guard...you need something to guard with" Mizuki said with a smile "At least...that is what the queen thinks" He said with a smirk. In all reality it was because Mizuki was unsure of how this evening was going to go. He wanted Thalion to have protection if needed.

The blade was long and forged in elvish steal. Old markings ran down the sides of the thin blade. "I saw this in the keep and I thought..." He said as he took the straps and moved over to Thalion. Rapping his arms around Thalion he strapped the blade to his hip. Before pulling back he whispered in a point ear "...What better hip was there to rest it on..." He said giving a little lick "...but yours..." He whispered the last part before he pulled away smiling as the blush creeped into those dark cheeks.

The hesitation suddenly made him worry the few seconds it took Mizuki to answer felt like forever. Though once Mizuki seemed to find the words that were needed he nearly caused Thalion to fall over as he hugged him suddenly. "Just a thousand times?" He joked a little to try to settle his still uneasy nerves but none the less he hugged Mizuki in return probably smiling like a damned idiot all the same.

Though what he was glad on most was the fit. He would have died on the spot if the ring had been ill crafted to fit Mizuki. He was so sure of the size though. But no it seemed like the ring was meant to be on the other's hand. The gems for all of it were what Thalion was going to be paying for. They were gems that were common to his home area but here they were rather rare and being of Mizuki's house color and everything as well... Well worth it though.

"I love you too, I was... a bit nervous about doing this to be quite honest.." He glanced away a little knowing he still was uneasy. Happy but uneasy. Ok more then happy... though they still needed to get through tonight and thats when Mizuki mentioned the speech he had to do. "Interesting indeed.. Something tells me the Queen will not take any of this lightly." Thats what worried him. She was still in full power for now.

Thats when Mizuki seemed to switch topics about him being one of the guards and needing something to guard with? Like he was harmless without a weapon. He looked at him questioning if the Queen actually thought that or if it was more of his own worries. Somehow he didn't see the Queen willingly giving him or Damien a weapon during such a event.

Though he got a bit distracted from such questions as Mizuki moved closer with the sword as he started talking. Though the blade looked old yet there was something about it. Maybe he was just admiring the craft of it but that was also short lived as Mizuki moved and put the blade where his normal was usually was. Thats not what caused the sudden blush though, it was the words after with Mizuki being this close.

Maybe it was everything combined. He wanted nothing more then to think everything was complete and that nothing could get in the way though he knew that was a lie. Tonight still had to be dealt with. Grabbing Mizuki he kissed him finally before smirking a little. "Tease later... after we deal with everything else. just know whatever happens tonight I'll always be yours; guard, lover, whatever you need me to be." He needed to say it.

"But for now I have to leave you... I'm sure the Queen already has guards trying to figure out if I'm off doing evil deeds as she would have most think I do in my spare time." He rolled his eyes a little before kissing Mizuki and moving to his neck lightly placing a kiss there as well. After tonight though... maybe they didn't have to be apart any longer.

Mizuki stood there as he listened to Thalion. Yes the queen would not take things lightly and he knew that but it needed to be done and Mizuki knew that. He was not going to merry the female, no, he was going to marry the male infront of him and that made him happier then anything. Mizuki smiled a little as Thalion continued to speak. "Really...anything I want...?." He asked lightly with a tilt of his head though he knew he had to stop there.

Kissing Thalion back he nodded his head "Yes I know...even though it pains me to see you go..." He said in a little whimper as he felt the kiss on his neck. Closing his eyes he engraved the feel of the males lips on his neck in fear that he would never feel them again.

After Thalion pulled back Mizuki smiled then frowned as they said their goodbyes and Thalion left. Mizuki knew it was for the better though at least he would see the male later into the evening. He was his guard after all and what good would a guard be if he didnt protect what needed to be protected? Shaking his head a little Mizuki sighed. It was time to get this show on the road.

After awhile guards came to get him. Fallowing behind them he was lead to the great ball room at the top of the large read wood. Here was when he was met with Damien, Neimi and Thalion. All of them dressed in the same colors. "Well...lets end this nightmare" He said lightly for only Thalion to hear before the doors opened and cheers were heard as his name was announced.

He had agreed to Mizuki's play on words of anything. He would actually. Anything Mizuki needed him to be. Though the way Mizuki said it hinted he had some thoughts on that. Sadly ones that would have to wait as they both knew they had to part ways. The only good news was that the Queen couldn't keep him from Mizuki tonight. Not when he had passed as being one of Mizuki's guard.

Neimi almost cringed behind Damien as time went on and the closer it got to when Mizuki was suppose to show up. Rather be brought here. She liked learning and all but she did not crave this attention. Damien and Thalion were much more suited for this.

After a while longer Mizuki walked over to the three before nodding a little and speaking so only Thalion was close enough to hear the words. Yes it was time to end this or so he hoped. Everything boiled down to how such news was delivered and how it was taken. Damien had talked with Mizuki's well was to be wife. She was worried, they were all worried really.

As Mizuki was announced and the crowd gawked and awed like he was some decorative peacock things slowly settled down. Most only greeted Mizuki to trade small talk that seemed to bore the other. Others greeting the soon to be happy couple. It seemed this woman was a well met match for Damien, taking everything in stride not flinching in the least. They had to wait to pass such news. It was hard to just wait but it needed to be done.

Damien was his normal relaxed self. Though he could tell Thalion was on edge a bit, though he didn't know the half of it. This night could break things... if the Queen took this badly there was little either of them could do. The main thing in their favor was that there were no rules against cross race marriages or relationships. With that there was hope she would be somewhat reasonable.

Mizuki was amazed at how calm Damien and Sateeva seemed to be. It was shocking really anything at this moment could happen to kill the group. It was all Mizukis mind rested on at that moment...well besides the ring that rested on his finger. Yes it was a great feeling the ring that was there caused and Mizuki loved it.

As the night went on it became the time for the nobles of the royal houses to share a speech with room. All of them around the new king. Mizuki sighed as he listened to everything from where he sat. Talion was to his right and Dmaien his left with Neimi behind him.

Each noble came and went all saying just about the same thing. After all what could one say to a king they all had met that evening? Nothing that was what. Nothing that would be different from any other at least. Time ticked on and Mizuki grew upset. It was almost time for his speach and he was getting ready for it.

However things began to take a different turn as it was. The next speech giver was one he didnt think about. Destro. The male walked forward through the crowd until he stopped infront of the to be king. "Ladies and gentlemen...I welcome you all to the royal ball in name of our future king!" He said motioning a hand towards Mizuki and this gave him and uneasy feeling in his stomach.

"Our great and soon to be noble leader is graced with a special ability not many know of" Destro said "With a rare bloodline leading back to the first songs our king knows and now controls all elements of life..." He said with a smile turning around and looking at the group of people. Destro then turned and looked right at Thalion "More so...the fire element" He said with a knowing smirk.

Right there Mizuki knew something was wrong he was about to speak up and end this but it was to late as Destro spoke again "It would seem to me that our lovelie king here has been fooling everyone in this room" He said "All but the group that fallows him. For you see another of this group has a special trait to him...one that did not go unnocticed" He said turning "Ladies and gentlemen...Let me properly introduce to you Thalion Lorulm...last surviving male of the royal blood clan and..." He looked to Mizuki "...Lover to the king"

The two had to be calm. If a fuss was made then others might think something was wrong. Though things were to be soon very wrong. none the less they were both prepared for the worse. That being the Queen's wrath at going against her wishes. Though Thalion had sworn to Damien that he would not stand idle and watch them throw either of them in some cell or worse. Damien protested such actions saying that bringing who he was into this would not help matters.

None the less time ticked by, slowly at that. Nobles were all alike it seemed. Even across different races they were all alike. Repeating the same thing. The same welcome to their soon to be king. It was almost sicking to watch. They acted so fake ... This bored him but his unsettled mind kept telling him that something was wrong. Like there was a aura in the air that something was about to break.

This was when Destro took turn for his speech. Though it was not what anyone was expecting. Right away Thalion knew that Destro was up to something as soon as he looked over this way. It was questioning what though. The speech continued on till he mentioned the fire element. Ah... so thats what his game was. He knew more then he was letting on at the moment. Not Thalion was counting how long it took for the speaking Destro to spill what news he had.

Damien seemed to catch the same hint as he shifted a little. He never even told Sateeva who Thalion really was. It hardly mattered. He had told her that he was not a commoner and what his own rank was but that was the only thing that seemed to matter or be worth telling. It had been a well kept secret. Even during training he had made sure to only do spells that required the use of fire and not just merely making it from your own will. Such powers would have given him away from the start.

He half hoped he read into this speech too much but then that was when Destro seemed to speak of their king fooling everyone. "and here we go.." Thalion muttered under his breath cursing that he didn't kill the male speaking the few times he had the chance during the past few months. This was hardly how he wanted attention that was certain. Though it was what came after his name and blood right that hit harder.

Lover to the King" When did he find that out? How long as this bastard been holding on to that information just to blurt it out here?! If they were anywhere else he swore he would have knocked that bastard off his current pedestal he seemed to think he was on. Though now it was a bit of mixed reaction, a blood line that was suppose to be dead and now the idea that the King was corrupted or something. He stopped listening to the sudden rise of chatter.

"Here I thought things were going to be too easy." Thalion hissed a little so only the ones close could hear. Nope it seemed that things just took that feared turn for the worse. Sateeva Looked at Damien questioning him before he nodded a little. So they had the soon to be wife who cheated on the king let alone with another race that was suppose to be enemies to the wood elves. Plus on top of it the king and his lover who was none other then a royal of the same said enemy race.

Though this was when the Queen raised her voice calling order to the room before demanding what the meaning of this was. This seemed to be when Sateeva finally cracked under everything and blurted out that she had been unfaithful. Maybe her and Damien were trying to avert the full blow from Thalion and Mizuki but either way that seemed to be out in the open as well.

Destro quickly spoke his thoughts and that such a lowly commoner sleeping with Sateeva deserved one punishment and that was death. Though that was when Thalion had had enough of Destro as a few murmurs filled the air once more as the Queen seemed to think over what to do about all of this. Though for someone not wanting to lead Thalion could make himself known very well when he so chose to act. This was when he demanded the silence and attention of the ones who were talking; either disagreeing or agreeing with Destro.

It took one mere word at that, though anyone close to Thalion could probably tell that he was more then ready to bolt if given the chance form this situation. To anyone else he looked as he should. The last of a royal line and one that was demanding a bit of damned respect after the shit he had been through here. "Say what you will about my line or who I am, but seeing as someone decided to go and make that information rather public... Damien is no mere commoner. If fact if you bothered to waste your time researching a bit more instead of trying to fault someone who is the last heir to the throne you might have known that already."

Over stepping bounds a bit maybe, but he had a good point. Thalion was no pushover and though he never did anything like this in his life he nearly seemed to be completely in charge. At the least it seemed to keep the room silent and kept attention of those in the room. For now the Queen seemed to let him speak as she was still making her mind up.

Thalion went on saying Damien's full name, rank and the house or rather his family rank. Really Damien didn't have to be a royal guard he could easily be a council to the royal line but it was his choice. Destro seemed to be unable to find a come back for this though as he did start to speak Thalion silenced him rather quickly.

He knew what the other was going to bring up and he was not going to stand here and let this damned bastard win the Queen's thoughts with poison. "Before it's asked, yes what was said was true. Both parts. I am the last living of the royal line that was said to have died over twenty years ago." Though he glared at Destro daring him to say anything, hell maybe he wanted him to say something. Challenge him right now as he spoke again. Words Mizuki probably never thought he would announce but seeing as it was out there already Thalion had said to hell with it and he was not going to let everything they worked for to be in vein because of some mage who thought he was some hot shot. The bold statement that he was Mizuki's; the king's lover. He almost dared anyone to challenge that though he didn't say a word more.

Mizuki was in shock. What on earth just happened?! He shook his head as he listened to what Destro had to say "You dirty little..." But he stopped as he growled. Oh this was going to be interesting to say the least. Not only had the status of Thalion been told to the crowd the status on their relationship as well and that made him freeze. How on earth did Destro know that? Not only that but how long had the male knowen this?

It was all a little much but then Damien and Sateeva joined in and now the ball was rolling. The crowd began to speak and whisper. It was not until the queen silenced everyone that the room was once again silent. However Destro started again saying how shamefull it was for a commoner to sleep with royal blood and how he should be put to death. That right there started another up roar in the room. One the queen couldnt calm.

No it was another voice that calmed the crowd and one he didnt expect. Turning his head he looked to Thalion as the male spoke. Mizuki was in awe, seeing Thalion take on the role he settled the kingdom with simple words. Though it was not those words that made him blush and smile. It was the fallowing that came from Thalions mouth "Before it's asked, yes what was said was true. Both parts. I am the last living of the royal line that was said to have died over twenty years ago."

Did he really just...Mizuki felt like he was going to faint. Here Thalion was proclaming his bloodline but also the fact of them being together! It was all to much for him and he knew that he would hear about it later though later could wait. Right now there was more important things to take care of. Like the fact that everything they had worked so hard to keep a secret was out in the air in a matter of moments.

It was this time that the queen decided to take a stand. Calming her people she sighed a little "Well...this I must say is an interesting turn of events" She said lightly looking at the mass of people. "Now we seem to have some choices on our plate" The queen said before she moved and walked over to Mizuki and Thalion.

Standing there she looked at them both "Our bylaws are interesting ones..." She began "As the future king...it does not matter who you marry to become king as long as that person is of royal blood" With that she looked to Thalion "However...there is a catch" She said before turning to the crowd. "As future king if the contract of marriage becomes void his spouse maybe of his choosing. As long as his choice is of royal blood" The queen said and the room began to whisper again.

"However..." She said "In this case the matter of the king being the one to void the contract first we have a little situation" The queen said making Mizuki look at her "Since the spouse he has chosen is not female a bonding ritual is a stipulation. Then the kingdom will have an heir" The queen said as the whispers began to pick up in the room.

"Though this leads to another issue..." Looking to Destro and seeing the smirk she looked to Thalion. Still with the same booming voice many knew her not to have she spoke "Since Councilmen Destro has brought this to our attention a formal challenge has been made" The room all fell silent. "In order for you to...Fix this I should say you must win your honor and the hand of the king in a battle to the death with the challanger...Destro" She said looking between the males.

"If you shall win the kings hand is yours, with the promise of an heir the kingdom will continue" She said to them both "I only have one question for you Thalion Lorulm...Will you fight for you kings honor and hand?" She asked as she looked at the male before her.

Ok well whatever nerve he had a moment ago all but died after he had finished talking. Though he still tried to hide whatever other thoughts he was having. Backing down only meant that Destro won and he wasn't having that. Though to be honest with himself he felt sick just standing there. What the hell did he just say?! Let alone what did it matter there was no way the Queen was going to go for this.

Though this seemed to be when the Queen herself finally spoke up. A voice that commanded everyone's attention easily yet holding a hidden strength at the same time. Though what made him feel like they had lost was when she started walking. This was it wasn't it? But the words that followed were not ones he was expecting as she went about speaking her thoughts and rules of the Wood Elves.

Here she was explaining things and it half seemed like there was hope yet. The mention of a bonding ritual had him a bit worried but with everything else it was hardly his first concern to say the least. Heck one of his concerns was race for starters gender aside the race gap between their kinds was nothing to gawk at.

But soon following that the Queen seemed to go on mentioning Destro and the facts he brought up. What was after that he almost was in shock that he was just handed a opportunity to kick the one guys ass that he had been trying to find a excuse to beat this whole time! Well so there was a such thing as luck apparently. It just required going through hell to get it.

To hell with his honor he hardly had much of that with no official backing of a kingdom for the time being. This was more to get even for what this bastard had put the lot of them through on top of the stunt here. To think he was looking for someone to test a few things out on.. this was almost too perfect. Listening to the Queen speak it seemed he was signing up for quite a few things. All the while Mizuki seemed impossible to read his thoughts on any of this.

His own were probably as equally impossible at the moment. A twisted mess of thinking things were looking up and the other thought that he could very well fall in this fight. Though something told him Destro only did so much research on his name... his bloodline had little to nothing to do with his fighting style or what he had mastered over the years.

With that final question it was almost funny to see the expression change on Destro's face. That smug smirk to a look of annoyance or that this was a waste of time. Oh this should be good indeed. Oh there was a number of things he wanted to say though that could wait for the fight... "I accept the terms presented and will fight to restore the King's honor and for his hand." He was too sober for this... drinking was the first thing he was doing once this was over to settle his nerves before he really was sick.

Mizuki was shocked at how everything had went. What on earth...so if his Mizuki got everything right Thalion just announced to the kingdom basically that he was the kings lover let alone now he was fighting for his honor let alone his hand...if he won the marriage would happen and within the kingdom. This though might be more usefull them Mizuki first thought however he didnt have a chance to think any longer as the queen spoke "So be it!" She said "Guards please esscort Destro and Thalion to the arena. From there you will be given armor and weapons."

The queen gave a smile as the guards walked in and to the males "I hope you are the one victorious drow" She said looking to Thalion "Its about time a change happens" She said with a little smile before moving and starting her walk. Behind her the guards fallowed with the two males. Oh this was going to be interesting.

After the roar and all the nobles and everyone settled in the seats around the arena. Special spells in place for the arena to prevent the hurt of the nobles who chose to watch. At the head of the room sat the queen. Beside her Mizuki. All was silent but the little buzz around the room. Mizuki was worried...it was a fight to the death and there was a chance that Thalion could be the one to die...No he couldnt think like that! After everything that had taken place...

Mizuki turned his head as his thoughts were broken by the queen speaking "You know I have waited a long time for a change..." she began as he gaze never left the arena infront of her "To long have our people been depressed. To long have they fought over little things" She said shaking her head "I really do hope the dr-" Though she paused "That Thalion wins this..." She said "Its the change we all need."

Though her words stopped as she got a nod from another across the way. Standing she smiled "Ladies and gentlemen. You are here today to witness the fight of honor for the future king Mizuki Kinsaki. Fighting for his hand and honor is that Thalion lalurm!" With that the gate opened and Mizuki watched as the male stepped out. "His challanger should he win will decide the fate of each party as by our law..." She said "Destro..." She said as another gate opened and showed the male walking out.

"To win the other must not be able to move...Or death claims him" She said over the crowd "I wish you men good luck" She said with a smile "Let it begin!" With that the nobles seemed to get into the spirit of things as many of them cheered for the fight to come.

Probably if Mizuki wasn't in shock still at what just happened he might say how foolish this was. Though Damien remained as calm as ever. Probably never doubting Thalion's skill against a mage who probably saw this as a easy win. Let alone the speech before hand. That was the leader everyone knew Thalion could be if he put his mind to it.

Thalion was too busy going over where to strike first. Oh if anyone knew how ticked Thalion had been at the mage he was now fighting for the past few months... they would pity the guy. Though that was when the Queen spoke to him saying she hoped he won and talked about change. He looked at her a bit confused as to why she would mention something like that. Similar to the words of his old man...

Maybe it was time for change. A lot of change apparently. For both races. If this marriage happened that would void any ill will between the races as soon as things were settled in the other city. The idea of that was almost hard to think true. The two races use to be allies so long ago. Probably back before most even remembered or were alive to see it.

Neimi paced a little as she looked to Damien and frowned a bit. "How can you be so calm?! Your own lord is about to fight to the death an-" "And in our society fights to the death are the only types of fights. He's been in them before." He breathed out a little before resting his hands behind him in a sort of relaxed pose. "He has made it this far, failing is not a option for him no matter what it takes." He seemed positive maybe overly positive that Thalion was going to win.

To say the least his nerves were on edge. He was torn between being worried this could end badly and the fact that he wanted to do nothing more then to show this cocky ass mage who the hell he had pissed off. Probably more of the second one as he thought about it. None the less he was more at home with his current gear back on instead of that fancy outfit to stand for the King's house.

Though maybe unknown to most save Damien... the colors he normally wore were his own families. Red silver and black. The current family that had destroyed the royal line almost had nearly stolen such colors... why he thought of that now was beyond him but none the less he quickly switched his thoughts back to the fight. He cared little about having no information on the male that soon walked out after he was announced. He hardly needed the handicap.

Oh no it would be death, though he had been toying with the best way to kill the one before him. His eyes hinted just what mood he was in too. The normal amber color was as close to red as it could get without being so. It was because he had been given enough time to prepare and think over everything. This male before him nearly cost him and Mizuki everything they had worked for.

After a moment the fight was declared and the nobles seemed to encourage it. Though what pleased Thalion all the more was that he didn't have to do the first strike as Destro had already cast the first spell. A sudden line of fire that trailed across the ground towards where Thalion was. A weak spell and Thalion was almost insulted. Someone that looked up his family history only to use fire magic against him?

"Tsk.. really?" He said before not even bothering to draw any blade yet and merely held a hand towards the quickly on coming spell as it seemed to freeze in its path and dispersed. Even a low ranged fire wielder could have done that. Though that seemed to be merely a test one that quickly lead into the real fight soon after.

Even though fire spells were some of the fastest to cast Destro seemed to be having difficulties with getting more then a few off before he had to try to avoid either his own spells or a blade. Being of the council Destro was no pushover as far as mages went and each blocked or reflected spell took more energy then Thalion really wanted to admit. At the same time he refused to lose either... the main thing saving him was that Destro seemed about like Mizuki as far as weapon skills went and was more of a caster. Also that he could take a few hits from spells and be still in decent shape. Though testing that was not a good idea.

Neimi didn't really want to watch. Thalion had raised her so to think that he might lose in this fight and that it was to the death made her want to go elsewhere and pray to any gods listening to let him win. She knew he was a capable fighter but she also knew that mixed with his temper and rash choices could turn tides in a fight, for better or worse.

Destro was lucky Thalion was not as skilled as his father when it came to magic. This fight would have been over quite a while ago. Plus as far as disadvantages went Thalion was still considered young, well maybe more of very young for one of a elven race. Destro easily had years on him. Not that those years seemed to be giving him much of a edge to say the least. Though both sides would sooner or later fatigue, maybe thats what Thalion was counting on. Though Damien seemed to doubt that.

After watching a few more strikes Damien shook his head finally. Thalion wasn't trying as hard as he should. He was but not at the same time. Like he was toying with the male before him, odds were he was doing just that. Magic became sloppy or hard to control if the caster was distracted or unfocused on the spell. Most of this fight he had been edging Destro on. Though Destro seemed over confident that he was going to win this so easily. That was probably to be his downfall.

Mizuki sat there on the edge of his seat as he watched the males attack one another. It was a little shocking to him that Destro was a fire mage. Most wood elven mages either had light magic or wood and earth, some times water magic...it was a rare case indeed to have fire magic. Though with that came the thought of how the male got to be a councilmen. Was it a birth right or was he just holding back the magical ability that he had.

Mizuki though soon got his answer as he saw Destro begin his next spell. The small incantation gave nothing to the power behind the spell. It was a simple phrase of words that the male uttered under his breath with a smirk on his lips.

"Well now..." Destro said as he stood there the spell was cast and waiting though it took a moment or two to take full effect "Seems that the all mighty son of Zeffren the amber mage has nothing to offer" He said with a smirk "Such a shame...here I wanted an actual fight!" He said before waving his hand and shooting the first part of his spell towards the male. Watching as Thalion braced himself and reflected the spell his smirk grew into a smile.

That was exactly what he wanted the male to do. From there the spell was sent around the arena. Different spots of fire began to pop up all over the ground and the walls. Casting another spell he forced the male back and into one of the pits of fire. Even though the fire was bright and hot it did not burn the male. No...the blue flames had a different purpose and he saw it work as the males face before him changed to a concentrated look.

"You see...fire magic has many different things it can do" Destro said with a smirk as he walked over to a flame before placing his hand in it and giving a deep breath "Ahhh...you see my magic has a special ability" He said looking to Thalion... "Since you reflected the spell and sent it flying it attacked to anything it touched" He said smiling "The blue flames do what would take hours to complete" Destro said with a smirk "All the energy you have is seeping away from that flame your in...and" He smiled as he removed his hand "Gives it all back to me in the prossess" He said with a smirk.

The spell was an evil one and it took care of alot of people. Though it worked better with the full on hit but since that didnt happen this would have to do. Casting another spell Destro began to send fireball after ball to the male with a smirk "Admit it Drow..." He hissed as he sent another one "...your not as good as me" He said with a smirk casting another spell.

There had to be something, this guy didn't seem overly powerful. Most spells were too slow to cast so they could be reflected or canceled altogether. Sure they held power behind them but nothing that he would call a threat or not enough to worry about. Though maybe he was giving this guy too much slack.

As the fight went on Destro seemed to start to try to get under his skin by saying different things. Mentioning his father, that was a low move if there ever was one. What was he expecting? Some fire grand master? considering age Thalion knew quite a bit, probably more then he admitted to even. Either way this guy was working on what last nerve he had to keep calm during this fight.

Sure he wanted him dead but he refused to go that far. Not till it was no longer a issue anyway. Besides that it wasted a lot of energy and took a little bit to wear off unless he passed out afterwards. though that could be a bit risky as well. Aside from that he had more important things to deal with, like the fact he knew this spell was different as he listened to Destro blab on about what it did.

This was not good, to say it worked quickly was a understatement as he tried to think of a way out of this. Though thats when Destro kept trying to wear down his energy by casting spell after spell. It was the words that might have doomed him. A combination of things and Thalion finally was tired of it. Destro kept taunting him all the same, though if he had been paying attention instead of assuming he had won he might have shut up sooner.

Damien smirked a little before crossing his arms as Neimi looked at him seeing as he had not moved this whole time. "Now is where the true power he hides sets in.." Neimi tilted her head a little before leaning against the railing she was near a little. she had seen Thalion mad but this was different. Damien only knew what was coming from knowing the family and their history. Neimi could feel the shift in energy though as she tried to debate on this being good or bad.

Not as good huh... He was not losing to some prick who thought he was better just from knowing a few damned spells with extra tricks. This probably was made apparently as the next spell wasn't just deflected it all but vanished before getting to where Thalion was. "I wouldn't take it that far.." He said almost in a warning tone before Destro seemed to cast another spell though by this time what blue fire that was visible was gone and it was very clear what color Thalion's eyes were.

The next spell he never bothered to dodge as he moved the blade in his hand and cut through it, never missing a step in his walk. "Your right though on some things... though if I were like my father I doubt this would have been much of a fight now would it?" He had a point if he were half as strong as his father had been, this fight would have ended with the first few spells if not the first.

The next spell Destro cast Thalion seemed to reflect it almost as soon as it was cast forcing Destro back a bit from that being unexpected. Though in the moment that the mage took to recover Thalion had cleared the distance that was between them and Destro had barely managed to avoid the blade that lashed out. Though it still didn't put him far enough to be out of harms way.

No even with avoiding the blade Thalion had managed to grab him with his other hand and held him there for a moment ignoring any spell attempts he had tried. "In your next life you should learn who you are fighting and stick to your own rank.." He said to him before a similar blue fire that was seen before seemed to start where Thalion's hand was on Destro before wrapping around the other. Though this one was a mix of blue and white. It also hardly seemed to be for the purpose of energy draining.

Destro tried to dispel the fire seeing as it was his own flame. Though it seemed to only make it spread faster and do more damage. Though this wasn't the end of the fire either as Destro cursed Thalion before casting another spell. This one was far more powerful and probably would have killed Thalion being this close still.

He barely caught reflecting the sudden blast just in time. Odds were the spell would have killed Destro anyway but seeing as the spell was reflected the damage only went towards Destro finishing off the already wounded mage. Not to say that reflecting a spell of that power was a easy feat or that Thalion was in perfect shape after all of that. No for the moment standing was what he was managing as he held one hand out where he had blocked the spell. Though at the least the fight seemed to be over no matter how much energy he had wasted on reflecting that last spell..

Mizuki was on edge the entire time. Though once the spell of Destros was cast Mizuki stood. He stood there and watched as spell after spell the mage attacked Thalion. Though it was not that...something else held his eye and it was the words that Destro was saying to Thalion. One thing he noticed was the mention of his father. Mizuki had read everything about the mages of old that he knew of. From every kingdom he could and there was no mention of the name. Some how that didnt settle with Mizuki very well.

However he had little time to think as a sudden chill ran down his spine. Something was different. Looking from Destro to Thalion Mizuki stopped dead. He could see the color of the eyes and the aura of the male. Everything radiated power and he was right the moment Thalion began to move.

Dodging and cutting spell after spell Mizuki was amazed at what he saw. Thalion had such raw power and if the male trained on that there was almost nothing he wouldnt be able to do. It was not until the end of the fight that Mizuki saw the white flecks within the blue flame. Now that was interesting. Mizuki knew he had read on the white in a flame before but nothing was coming to mind.

His thoughts however ended as he watched the fire begin to creep from the males neck and through his body. It was such a way to die though it seemed Destro wanted to take some one else with him. Using the last of the energy he had the spell was cast and Mizuki freaked "Thalion!" He screamed as he placed his hand on the berrier around them. His spell would take time but already it began to weaken. Mizuki knew that spell, the power behind it. It was a one time spell, a fall back if you will. When the battle has been lost take the enemy with you.

However just as the protection around them fell the spell was deflected and Destro was dead. Mizuki stood there and looked at Thalion. The male stood a little slouched with a hand still up from the deflective spell and he was panting hard. Before Mizuki thought about it he was on the move. Not caring for his image at the moment he cast his spell.

From one moment to the next he was standing infront of Thalion. Reaching out he lightly grasped the out reached arm with pale hands before lowering it "Thalion..." Mizuki said taking a step towards the male just as Thalion seemed to loose the feeling in his legs as he slumped into Mizuki. Like he was expecting it his arms never missed a beat as they wrapped around the male. "Thank you my love..." He said in a whisper placing a kiss on the males foreheard before he moved and placing an arm under the males knees he picked him up.

Mizuki knew that Thalion was in no state to protest and he was right as all he got from the male was hiss as he was moved. "Sorry.." Mizuki said lightly as he slowed his walking.

The fact that the barrier had vanished meant the fight was over. He knew the fight was over but the idea of moving was hardly something he could think of. Standing here he knew if he bothered to move he'd hardly be standing after. That spell from Destro had sapped most of his energy even if he never showed it. Though he certainly was now as his eyes were slowly losing the red color to them due to the lack of energy to keep fighting.

Though this seemed to be when Mizuki appeared next to him. He couldn't say anything or bother to move. About the time the other had moved his arm was when he finally gave up on standing. His breathing was still a bit harsh as he was glad Mizuki was there. Face planting the ground after this would not have been fun in the least. Heck being like this was hardly fun.

He heard Mizuki talking but he didn't say anything for the moment. That probably took too much energy to try to do at the moment either. Even as Mizuki moved and started carrying him he wanted to protest but at the same time he didn't. Not like he could have anyway, he had just used a skill that was far beyond his current years as far as training went. Probably a foolish and risky move to say the least but it probably saved him all the same.

Mizuki didn't get very far before Thalion gave up on trying to stay awake either. It was over right? To keep fighting against what his body was demanding would just make things worse in the end and he knew that. not like he had gotten out of the fight unscathed. He had a number of small wounds from the spells Destro had cast. Nothing that wouldn't heal easily enough. It was more of his energy that was making him the way he was now. Lack of training and reasons to avoid training. He'd have to explain that to Mizuki...

None the less he was probably out for at least a few hours before coming to again. Though he didn't remember going to sleep in the first place so he hardly was expecting to be in a bed when he opened his eyes. His mind had been messing with him a bit during his so called rest. One of the times it was that he had lost the fight and that was the last image he had before he had woken up in a slight cold sweat. He was half expecting to be dead or to be finding out what happened after you died.

Though from the looks of the room he wasn't dead. No it looked like one of the rooms in the wood elf capital. Though least he was alive and that last image was just some dream. Probably a hint he had cut it close. Never the less his head was killing him as he slouched over half cursing at it. Reminder to self... don't do that again.

Mizuki had carried the male to his own room. One that had been hardly used in the time spent there. Though now it had its use as Mizuki placed Thalion on the bed. Mizuki took the time that he needed and cleaned the cuts and wounds on the males body as well as changing him placing the male in nothing more then a loose fitting pair of pants. Keeping him in the bed Mizuki didnt leave the room.

It took only a few hours before he heard a noise off behind him. Mizuki was currently making a tea over the fire place though the sound made him turn just as Thalion gasped a little and awoke. As soon as the curses came to his ears Mizuki was on the move.

In a short matter of time he was from infront of the fire to beside Thalion. Sitting on the bed he gave him a soft smile "Took you long enough...here I thought you were going to sleep all day" He said with a little laugh though at the glare he smiled a little. Okay so it was not that fully. Reaching a hand out he placed it on Thalions cheek "You sir...when your better have some explaining to do" He said with a little nod of his head.

Mizuki wanted some answers but only the male before him could give him those. "Either way thats not important right now.." Mizuki said as his face grew softer "What is...is that you are alive" He said to Thalion placing a kiss on the males forehead. Pulling back he looked into Thalions once again ember orbs "Thank you...for fighting for me" He said as he moved over and grabbed the cloth that was off the side of the bed. Moving back he reached out and gently whiped the cold sweat from Thalions brow.

It didn't take long before he heard a voice as he glanced to see Mizuki there. Though at the mention of taking long enough he wanted to tell him to try what he did and see how he fared. Though that came as only a mere glare for the moment. Though the glare died a little at Mizuki laughing.

Though then it was brought up that he had some explaining to do once he was rested a bit more. Yep saw that coming... He was kinda surprised that Mizuki didn't assault Damien for information or something. The older knight knew almost as much as Thalion did on what had happened and why. Oh that was going to be a fun conversation.

"Heh.. yeah .. I kind of thought I wasn't waking up after that last dream." It was too real it was almost like he couldn't breath after that final spell had been cast and met its mark. Though he closed his eye s a moment and breathed out seeing as he was alive. So.. that was it then, they had won right?

Though he had kept his eyes closed as Mizuki said thank you for fighting for him. He started to say something but flinched at the cloth not really expecting it. Opening his eyes again he looked at Mizuki before shaking his head a little. "You don't have to thank me... I would have done far more then just fought for you if it was asked." Not only that but Destro had it coming. Two months he had wanted a excuse to put that damned mage in his place.

"So.. things are settled now right?" That wasn't the best way to ask that but at the moment he was still trying to wake up or recover from everything. Though thats also about when a few things he had so boldly said came crashing in to his mind. "Please say that speech was part of a dream as well.. " He cringed at the thought of it as he noticed Mizuki seemed to shake his head a little. "By the goddess I was nearly asking for the Queen to kill me on the spot.. what the hell is wrong with me?!"

Speaking out of turn let alone demanding the attention of the ones present at the time. No true backing of a city and laying claim to a name that without proof meant nothing. Though they had their proof of that name now. Yep he had lost it for a bit there didn't he? Thinking over it he could have gotten the lot of them killed or something by his recklessness.

Mizuki almsot laughed as Thalion asked if things were settled "Well thats one way of putting it" He said with a smile and a nod of his head. Though as he continued Mizuki did give a little laugh as he was asked if the speech had happened. Oh yes it sure did. Everything was laid before the queen and in a short matter of time. Not to mention how it was presented.

"By the goddess I was nearly asking for the Queen to kill me on the spot.. what the hell is wrong with me?!" Mizuki cringed at Thalions sudden out burst. He was expecting something like that as the realization of what he had done came crashing down on him. Yes he had done something that could be death within moments. But clearly the queen had more connections then they both thought.

Leaning in Mizuki smiled to Thalion "Nothing is wrong with you..." He said lightly "You are a very proud person Thalion and your honor was tarnished. To get it back you did what was needed to be done" He said with a nod of his head. "You also are a man in love..." He said lenaing in a little more "...Unless that was a lie..." He said in a little whisper "Oh husband to be...." He said with a smirk before he leaned in and gave Thalion a soft peck on the cheek before moving back some.

Mizuki knew Thalion loved him. If the male didnt why would he bother fighting for him in the first place. No he knew there was love and it ran so much deeper then they both knew. It was just fun to Mizuki to tease the male and now that he had the chance to with out the fear os some one walking in he was taking full advantage of the time.

"Yeah but I had no right in the least to even be that bold..." What honor did he have to defend really, he had run from his own home and left it in the state it was in.. and still in. Though on that note why the heck did he get so angry with Destro for saying things about his father. He hardly remembered the man let alone was that attached..

Though when Mizuki spoke again before leaning in he shook his head lightly. "Heh.." He started to say something else but he honestly felt a bit ill at the thought he had ever so boldly yet proudly stated everything in front of not only a room full of nobles but the Queen of the Wood elves none the less. A thought that left as Mizuki spoke and ended with husband to be.

With the comment and light peck he glanced away a little knowing that Mizuki had already seen the blush so he wasn't sure why he bothered. Though thinking of something he smirked a little before looking back towards Mizuki and moving a little to take his hand with his own. "Guess I have good timing for something at least." He said holding Mizuki's hand with the ring on it.

Not exactly how he thought things were going to happen but .. he couldn't complain really. Maybe it was better that it happened this way. Though then he thought on what the Queen had said about change. Why had she said the same thing his old man had mentioned.. why did they care about change even? Most races fought against such things.

He wasn't going to bother questioning these things for now. No he was alive and Mizuki was .. his sounded a bit possessive but it was true after the hell he had been through. Lifting Mizuki's hand he kissed the back of it lightly trying to settle the fact that he had done more then enough foolish things in one span of a evening to last a lifetime.

Mizukis face softened as he watched Thalion lift his hand and kiss the back of it. The feel of those dark lips on his made gave him a warm feeling though it was fallowed by a little shiver. "Hmmm..." Mizuki hummed a little before he leaned in and gave Thalion a kiss. It was a slow deep one that held all of the love and longing he had for the male.

Pulling back he smiled to Thalion softly "I love you..." He said bringing the males hand that was still in his to his lips and giving it a kiss. Letting the hand go he stood and walked over to the fire where the tea should be steeped enough. Taking off the hot fire he poured a glass before he walked over to Thalion.

Sitting down once more on the side of the bed he handed the male the cup and laughed at the look he gave at the tea "Oh I promise it wont taste bad" He said with a smile "It will also get rid of that headache you no doubt have as well as help you sleep" He said with a little smile and nod of his head "Drink it Thalion." He said as the male still didnt move to do so.

Yep this was what he had risked his life for. Heck even stepped out of whatever comfort zone he stayed in normally and so proudly stated who he was and his feelings for Mizuki. "And I love you.. though I hope you know that.." He was't sure what else he could possibly do to show the other this. But he doubted he needed to worry about that.

Though what did worry him was this tea... He had been through some of Mizuki's tea before.. Though Mizuki seemed to say that it wouldn't taste bad. He was still debating on if drinking it was a good idea, this was about when Mizuki said for him to drink it. "Ok ok.. I don't really need help sleeping though to be honest." He said before getting a slight scowl from Mizuki before he drank the tea before Mizuki forced him to.

"There happy?" Though he wasn't lying, with how he felt sleep would be easy enough. Either way Mizuki took the cup before he moved to lay back down. Mizuki would probably threaten him if he tried to get up or protested otherwise. He was going to protest if Mizuki said he was leaving or wasn't going to come back to the bed again.

Though that didn't seem to be a worry as after putting the cup on the table he moved back to sitting on the bed. There had been something Thalion had wanted to do and for the past two months he thought he had lost any chance of it. After Mizuki sat down next to him he moved a little and rested his head in the other's lap. "If you're making me sleep you're staying here.." He said having his eyes closed already.

Oh yes Mizuki knew the male loved him and he would never question that again. No, after what Thalion had done for him how could he question the males love. He couldnt he had no right to now and he was glad for that. Any and all doubts that he had about the male ended.

After the tea was down Mizuki moved and placed the cup off to the side before he bothered to come back. Sitting back down on the edge of the bed he gave a soft smile as the male moved and rested his head on his lap saying he couldnt go anywhere and it was time for bed. Mizuki really didnt want to disagree with the male. Sleep was something that came little to him in the time spent there. So the...order if you will was one he could comply to.

Moving Thalion for a moment Mizuki moved and sat more on the bed with his back propped up and into the pillows. Moving Thalion back he rested the male in his lap with a soft smile. Moving he covered him with the thin blanket that rested off to the side.

Slowly and almost just for himself Mizuki began to run pale fingers through Thalions hair brushing it back and out of his face. Light fingers massaged the scelp and the males ears as he hummed softly looking down at Thalion as he did it. He was a little shocked as he watched the male fall asleep before he could say or do anything. It was alright though after everything the male deserved the rest.

He didn't really protest to being moved, he was half way asleep by then anyway. Just a combination of everything and the sudden idea that things were going to be ok for once. At the least for a little while.. That alone was reassuring and let his mind relax a little against worrying that it seemed to always do.

Though it wasn't long before Mizuki had gotten him to move back to his lap and seemed content to stay where he was. Even without anything that Mizuki had started to do he was almost already asleep. Though adding in the light touches and soft humming he definitively wasn't able to fight it. Not that he had been trying to, he was pretty sure that tea was hardly helping either.

If anyone bothered the room during the night he never knew of it. Nope the sleep he was in was a deep one though probably much needed really. Worrying for two months that he was going to lose Mizuki had probably taken a lot from his rest during the nights.

It was still pretty early the next morning when he did finally come to. To admit it he was a bit groggy with everything going on and finally getting some decent sleep. He almost had half a mind to go back to sleep till he looked up seeing that Mizuki never moved.

It was cute really just looking up at Mizuki sleeping. This hardly helped him not wanting to move. At the same time he felt a lot better from last night and he remembered not really saying too much of anything to the other. Moving a little he leaned up and kissed Mizuki lightly on the lips as it seemed to make him stir a little from the light contact.

Mizuki had stayed where he was the entire night. With having Thalion so close it was hard not to. The warmth from Thalion and the light breathing of the male helped and before long he fallowed the male and slept. Just the same it was a deep sleep. Even in his sitting placement he didnt move. Falling asleep stroking the males hair his one hand rested cupping Thalions head while the other rested over the males chest.

Sleep was needed and it was not until the early morning did he even stir. Though that was only due to the light movement in his lap fallowed by the soft brush of slips on his. "Mmmm..." Mizuki hummed as he woke up before leaning down more into the softness of the lips. After a moment the hand that was cupping Thalions head moved to behind the males shoulders as he lifted him up some more only to be supported by bent knees.

Moving back from the kiss after a few moments he smiled to Thalion with half lidded tired eyes "Good morning to you to" He said with a little smile as he gave Thalion a soft kiss. Pulling back he gave a little yawn "Sleep well?" He asked the male as he idolly played with Thalions pointed ear.

The soft noise from Mizuki followed by the return kiss was plenty to know the other was somewhat awake. When the other seemed to move a little he ended up yawning a little still not fully awake and for the time being sleep could easily come again. Though by now he was determined to stay up, soon enough his mind would start to worry on what they had to deal with today. Let alone sooner or later Mizuki would be demanding answers.

He smiled a little watching Mizuki yawn before he asked if he slept well. He started to nod before a slight shiver took over from where his hand had started playing with the tip of his ear. "Good.. heh well just good isn't the best word for it." No he slept more then good, having the other next to him like this and being able to fully relax for once.

Moving a little he leaned up just enough to kiss Mizuki's neck lightly before placing another light kiss just below where his ear was. "What about you love? You seemed like you were sleeping well." He almost felt a little bad waking him. Though knowing how things were someone would bother him soon enough and it would be back to Mizuki being busy for the rest of the day.

Mizuki held back the little nose he would of made from the light kiss to the neck then below the ear. Though the words made a shiver go down his spine and he growled a little "I did thank you...The first time I have slept in two months..." Mizuki said with a little nod of his head. And it was true. During the hole time that they were there he didnt sleep. Meditated and drank lots of tea yes but no sleep.

This was when he smiled some "Some of the best sleep I have had in ages" He said lightly as his hand still rubbed threw Thalions hair until he gave a little growl and pulled the spikey locks of Thalion gently back exposing a dark neck. "Shall we continue where we left off before that stupid ball..." He asked with a little growl as he bent down and kissed Thalions Adams apple before moving soft kisses around the neck. Using his grip to his advantage he turned Thalion head gently and with no hesitation from the male. Lightly he kissed the side of the neck before giving a bite.

Pulling back he smiled down at the little red mark before he removed his hand from Thalions hair. His smile grew more though as he noticed the blush but not as much as Thalions head staying where it was left.

"I think I could tell that.." He said at Mizuki mentioning the first time in two months. The few times he had seen the other in the two months here it was easy to tell or at least to him that Mizuki was exhausted. It was painful to watch but he didn't fair much better. Maybe he was just use to not sleeping much.

He was going to say something to the best sleep in ages comment but didn't get the chance to as Mizuki seemed to have other plans as he spoke again. "Left off? Were did we-" He didn't get to finish that sentence as Mizuki moved again and started kissing his neck in a few difference places. After everything they had gone through he was hardly going to turn down any affection from the other, even if he wasn't expecting it. Though he should have by now.

The kisses weren't what caused him to let out a slight noise as he had tried to cut it off a bit too late. No the light kisses had gradually moved into a bite after Mizuki had turned his head. Mizuki had turned his head towards him to expose the part of his neck that he had bit. Though it was all too tempting as during the night Mizuki's robe had moved a bit exposing his chest.

Thalion moved a little but only enough to kiss the exposed part of Mizuki's chest. It was still a little hard to believe that after everything he didn't have to worry anymore.. well for the time being. The war was still far from over and there was his own personal matters to attend to as well... both things that could wait for the time being.

Mizuki loved the little noisethat Thalion gave him as he bit the dark neck. He loved the little noise. After that though he gave one of his own as Thalion moved and kissed an exposed chest. So some reason when those dark lips connected there he felt light headed. Mizuki gave a soft growl "Why is it your touch can leave me breathless..." He asked as he moved the male before he claimed his new spot over top of the male.

Resting with a leg on either side of Thalions hips he placed his arms on the bed on either side of his head as he looked down into a dark face. "All your kisses..." KMizuki said leaning down and placing some along the males chin to his ear "All your touches..." He said as he moved a hand and rubbed it down a chest and a side until it rested on a dark hip. "Everything...you do..." He said lightly "Has that effect on me..." Mizuki said kissing a dark neck again "Why is that?" He whispered lightly.

After Mizuki had moved and ended up on top of him he smirked a little at Mizuki's words. "Complaining?" He said though he was teasing. He knew Mizuki wasn't complaining. Well maybe he was at being weak against something so simple. But this was when Mizuki went on speaking.

Though it was a combination of Mizuki talking and the kisses and touches as well as the other being over top of him like this after they had been apart for so long and unable to see one another... Even just minor things like this was causing him to move a little under Mizuki half about to call him a tease with what he was doing.

His breath was already a little unsteady as Mizuki finished speaking asking why that was. Thalion laughed a little under his breath as he leaned up to kiss Mizuki's lips moving his own hands to the other's already loose robe moving them down further until his hands rested at Mizuki's hips. "I don't mind having that effect.. but only cause you have the same on me." Not that he had to tell Mizuki that he knew the other knew that.

Mizuki growled as he felt the hands on his sides before moving down to his hips. Yes that was what he wanted. Moving his hips a little he smirked as he kissed Thalion back. It had been awhile that the two didnt really have to rush things. No it was something that had been awhile in the wait and it was about time it happened.

It started slow both of them wanting to remember how it felt to kiss touch and feel the other male. Though soon after the light touches turned into heated fast movements.

This all led to the two of them panting heavy. Mizuki was still in the same place over Thalion though now his head was down with his forehead rested on Thalions shoulder as he breathed deeply trying to get back the breath he seemed to of lost. "Just...as good...as...I remember" He said in pants.

After a few moments he gave a groan before he moved off of Thalion and flopped on the bed beside the male. Laying on his back he gave a deep sigh as he breathed heavy. "Why cant I stay in bed all day...?" He asked turning his head and looking at Thalion. Though he didnt get a chance to say anything else as a knock sounded on the door "Mi'lords your needed in the great hall" A voice said from the other side of the door and he frowned a little "He just said lords right...?" He asked Thalion lightly

The fact that they didn't have to rush things was more then Thalion could have asked for. The last time they got to do something like this they had worried that they would be caught or something. So it had been rushed a bit... not that it meant any less to either of them but still. It was nice to be able to just enjoy the touching and kisses again.

Though soft touches and kisses lead into other actions. Also much needed seeing the last time that they were together in such a way. Never again did he want to go months on end without seeing the other, torment was not the word for it.

Both of them were breathing heavily as Mizuki stayed where he was a moment resting his head against his shoulder. Thalion laughed weakly still trying to get his own breath back listening to him. "Good to know I didn't lose any skill then." He teased a little at such a comment. Though that was about the time when Mizuki moved to get from on top of Thalion and lay next to him.

He was just about to answer Mizuki's question with some smart answer when a voice called from the door. His ears went back a little at the words. Mizuki's question confirmed what he thought he heard. "Yep..." Was the slightly annoyed reply before he sighed a little. "Here I was enjoying of going back to being a commoner with no background. It was nice for a while." Seeing as before they came here he had Damien trailing him as well as a few others trying to talk him into reclaiming the city and taking his bloodlines home back.

Moving a little he kissed Mizuki's lips lightly, ghosting a hand along the other's body before he bothered to sit up. "Guess that answers my question if I have to get up as well." He said almost complaining. He was going to tease Mizuki that he couldn't stay in bed because he was their future king. Though it seemed that some details were hardly over looked. Something said today would be fun after what happened the previous day.

But with that he got up and started getting dressed knowing the sooner they got to the great hall the sooner whatever this was about could be over with.

Mizuki gave a little smile as he felt the hand ghost over his bare chest before the male stood. Though Mizuki sighed a little as he moved himself and gathered clean clothes to dress. After a few moments in time he was dressed and heading out of the door with Thalion right beside him. "So...there is a number of things this could be..." Mizuki said looking to Thalion and he frowned a little as he just nodded his head.

Mizuki knew that both of there thoughts were on what was about to come and neither of them really wanted to say anything. Reaching the great hall they were directed inside before they were greeted with the queen and some councilmen and guards. The queen sat at a table with the councilmen on either side "Well my lords" She said standing with a dip of her head to the two of them "Please come and sit" She said and Mizuki looked to Thalion before the two of them moved to the table.

Sitting down with the queen Mizuki tilted his head a little "May I be so bold as to ask what this is about?" He asked with a little frown. This caused the queen to smile "Its about the arrangements for your marriage...and your bonding ritual" She said and Mizuki sighed. For a moment he thought it was going to be a bad thing but in all reality it was the opposite of it all.

Mizuki sighed a little "Well explain then..." He said with a smile. This was where the queen began to explain the date for the wedding. What would happen and how it would go. From there came the ritual. "It has to happen the night of your marriage. With the love thick in your hearts its the best day" The queen said. "The spell is a long one and would take some time to do...the herbs and potions needed are spread through the day" She said "Though this is no regular spell" She said with a nod "With this spell...the bonding bonds you for life" She said looking to them "Should one die the other shall parish as well" She said lightly with a smile "Feelings, emotions and some times thoughts...all these will be shared." She said with a smile.

"Though there will be some...side effects" She said with a little bit of a frown looking at the two "Because the ritual can not be broken..Mizuki would have to do the spell himself" She said "Because of that Thalion would have to do everything else that is needed and your training in that will begin today" She said lightly "If an heir is to be made everything must go as it should. Down to the last herb and lit candle" She said light.

"By you combining you are creating life. It shall begin and will end as the morning ticks close" She spoke lightly "If done right" She added. This was when she began to explain how it would happen and if done right where the child would appear. A designated area within the room shall be choosen for this exact thing" She said with a nod of her head. "There is one change for this...even if the child is not conceaved the bonding will take place" She said "I must not stress this enough...the love needs to be there other wise you struggle for nothing" The was her reasponse "Are you both ready for this?" She asked.

Mizuki was right this could be a number of things. Any that he could think of at the moment were hardly things he was going to look forward to. Though knowing him he was only thinking of things that could have come of yesterday. Also that bold little speech he had given as well as the fight. Well today was a good day till he started thinking again and reality decided to punch him.

Either way they made their way to the great hall where once directed inside Thalion felt the same overwhelming feeling that he felt the first time with the Queen. Granted now it was a room full of the council as well. Needless to say any talking or questions that were done they were done so by Mizuki. Whatever had possessed him the other day was sated for the time being.

After Mizuki did question what this was about was when the Queen explained and that seemed to set Mizuki at ease at least. Though Thalion was still on edge but thats just because he wasn't use to and hardly enjoyed settings like this. He'd probably stay on edge for a while.

Though from there the Queen went on to explain the wedding date and how that would go and the ritual that needed to take place that same day. No pressure on that just make sure everything was perfect was what it seemed to come down to. As she explained more of it and the training involved just to pull it off the slight bit of worry started to come into his mind.

Granted it probably had to do more with the setting they were in but still. Soon enough she seemed to finish explaining things and how important certain steps were before she questioned if they were both ready for this. Mizuki seemed speak up first. Not that it took long for Thalion to agree with Mizuki.

He didn't have any doubts about their feelings or that they weren't true so that was hardly a thought. He feared more of the spell or something else going wrong. Granted they needed to learn what to do as far as steps were concerned but still.. He had a right to worry not trusting magic that far. Though every time he seemed to lose control over his own powers he certainly used enough of it.

It was interesting to hear what the queen said. There was a potion for each of them. One that would gather different traits from each male that would would ensure the survival of the child. That made Mizuki listen even more. He half thought on how the child would turn out. What gender it would be but not to mention the looks and the ability. It would be interesting to see the combination of the two races.

After that the queen went on to explain that the training for the herbs would go to Thalion. The male needed to make the potions as Mizuki did the spell. Having to do something with the spell sealing in the herbs with the potions and the connection between them. To tell the truth Mizuki had lost his mind awhile ago.

Shaking his head he sighed a little "Alright then...what are we waiting for?" He asked a little with a tilt of his head "Sitting here it not getting what we need done done" He said with a nod of his head fallowed by a smile "I only have one stipulation" Mizuki said looking to the queen "I do not wish to leave his side through it all" He said said with a nod before he gave her another smile "I mean...I know I would concentrate more...and I am sure Thalion would as well"

At this Mizuki turned his head and looked to Thalion and smiled as the male all but nodded his head. Turning back to the queen he saw her soft smile on her lips "Well we were sure you were going to say that" She said with a smile "So we have prepared for such a thing. Leaving here you will head to the royal training hall where the two fo you will meet up with the head masters. They will teach you everything there is to know" She said with a little nod "Though train and practice fast...for you have one month to master what needs to be mastered. The night of the harvest blood moon must be the night for the ritual...we were just lucky the night draws so close"

All of this was a bit much. She had asked a question like they had a choice in the matter. Pretty much they had agreed to it already just now it was being spelled out to them. Potions and herbs, back to this it seemed. It was almost funny in a way. He knew a little about potions, it had been a slight fascination of his as a young child. But that was in part due to his father. Not that he thought of such things back then but he had probably been trying to work on a way to remove the curse their blood line seemed to have.

Thats about when the Queen started going over details of everything and Mizuki saying that they weren't getting anything done by standing here. Though by now Thalion had started thinking on something. It was mentioned that everything or most would be linked. That worried him to say the least. Mizuki didn't know about where that power came from the other day, the uncontrolled power. It was controllable but it would take years. But what would the link do to that or Mizuki for that matter?

Though it seemed a question like that would have to wait as the plan was for them both to start right away. Least they were to train in the same room. Not really encouraging but still. The good news was that potions weren't something so new that he had to learn basics at the least. Though he still was sure that there was more then plenty to get through in two months. Why did everything have to be timed. All the while he was worried that maybe they were spending too long here and something had happened to the Western forces.

Either way they were directed out of the room and towards the other room they were told to report to. He debated what Mizuki's thoughts were on all of this though knowing Mizuki he was probably thinking about if a child was made from all of this how it would look. No knowing Mizuki he was more concerned with the abilities it would have. Funny to him in a way. He'd settle for things just going smoothly, that would be nice for once.

After that they met the grand teachers and the training began. It was all a blur as the days mushed into one. The training stopped only for a brief moment to eat and sleep then it was right back to the same thing. In a way Mizuki didnt expect anything else. It was known fact that wood elven were the type when it came to training if it was not perfect you didnt stop.

So thats how it was as the days went to weeks. The training however did end for two days as the wedding took place. All the nobles and royals from all around came to witness the marriage of the two kings. It was unbelievable for Mizuki but it happened. Though after the celebrations it was back to training as the harvest moon was fast approaching.

Now almost two months had past and it was the night before the the harvest moon. Mizuki stood infront of the large open window of their room as he looked out to the clear sky. The moon was large and full and gave a silver glow to the earth around it. Bright stars dotted the sky and twinkled lightly in hello.

Mizuki sighed lightly as he looked at the stars as he played with the ring on his finger. He was tired and sore though the real test was tomorrow. But besides that there seemed to be something on his mind. It had been bothering him for awhile and he knew that he needed to speak to Thalion. Turning as he heard the door he looked to Thalion as the male entered the room.

Smiling he said his hello to the male but he paused "Thalion...we need to talk..." He said lightly looking to him. Mizuki was not sure on how to word what needed to be said but he needed to try "Tomorrow is the day we bond...as such it is the day we really do become one" Mizuki said lightly "I...need to know..." He said "Do you remember...the battle for my hand?" He asked him as his ears dipped back "What...happened?" He asked lightly with a tilt of his head as he crossed his arms and hugged himself.

Everything did blur together, day in and out it was all they seemed to do was train. He was hardly expecting it to be like this though maybe he should. In a way it reminded him of his weapon instructor back when he was younger. Oh did she punish you for taking a break... Not that such lessons didn't keep him alive in the long run. None the less with everything heavy on his mind he remained in what felt like a drained state.

The only time of the day he remotely looked forward to was nights. The little time they were awake and spent time together unbothered. But it was worth this in the end right, everything would be worth it so long as things went right. That was his main concern if things went right. As well as what effects the bonding would have on well everything. Questions he left unasked not wanting to worry Mizuki that he had doubts when he didn't about them. It was more of everything else.

Though the wedding date came and went, he was glad for that to be over. Not that he didn't look forward to the day but he was not fond still of being the center of attention. Not by any means. Though with that day over he had to admit to feeling a little more settled. Both having matching rings save the center gem standing for the main color of their respected houses. Though now things came down to training more and waiting for the night that they were training for.

It was the night before and Thalion was a bit unsure on a few things though going over each step that needed to be done he was ensured that everything was perfect. He doubted that but he needed sleep before tomorrow... This was the main reason he had headed back towards the room. Though he wasn't expecting Mizuki to be up still.

Right away after the door was closed Mizuki spoke up that they needed to talk. Thalion winced a little at the words that Mizuki asked. Well.. he knew it'd come up sooner or later but he had nothing to say Mizuki wanted to hear. He sighed a little as the other asked if he remembered and what happened. He did.. he remembered every time that happened. He nodded a little not really moving from the door as he leaned against it trying to find a way to explain what happened.

"I remember, being honest I remember each time it happens. Though that one was the worst of any." He looked down a little at the thought. "You've seen it happen a few times before. The first time we met after you turned your back, when the fight turned for the worse the second time." He paused a little letting Mizuki think on this a little.

"Its a curse, there was a tampering back ages ago that a mage of my bloodline did to try and tap into the power it held. Well the experiment worked. But the trade off is that the power is only tapped into when things are grave." He paused a little at the thought of it. "There is another catch to this... You're not going to like it though." He took a breath expecting this to go badly. "If left unchecked then that rage and raw power takes over, there is no friend or foe and most end up killing themselves from over use of energy."

The expression on Mizuki's face told him plenty as he shook his head a little. "I've been asked why I dislike magic and fighting.. well there you have it. The less I fight the less chance of that curse taking hold and the less chance I have of losing the battle."

Mizuki was shocked a little at Thalions words. He remembered each time though let alone it was a curse? Mizuki beleived in magic yes but curses to him were...a little far fetched. Either way he stood there and thought "Well...should there not be a cure...something anything you can do?" He asked Thalion lightly before his ears dipped back "I couldnt stand to loose you" He said lightly.

After a moment Mizuki sighed a little hanging his head "So...Your telling me that even though it saves you...its your doom in the long run?" He asked looking up to him with his ears dipped all the way down. It had been a thought of Mizukis of what the power was that he had felt from the male before. He never knew that it was to this extent. "Tell me...that after all this I will still have you...." He said lightly...even if the ritual dosent work..." He said with his head dipped down again.

He sighed a little when Mizuki spoke. Though he didn't answer right away. It wasnt till he went on asking more questions. "there is a way.. Heh this is going to sound crazy.. But my father found a way, before he died." He didnt want to go into how he find this out. It was crazy to say you saw let alone talked or yelled at a spirit.

"you'll still have me. I've already decided to fix this when I get the chance." He paused a little at the thought. "you probably thought I was crazy back when I was working on magic suppresaion. Well now you know why."
